broadchurch is the first david tennant series after good omens that've gotten me completely and utterly hooked. alec hardy, bless him, is just my ultimate type of whump, and ellie miller is exactly the kind of friend i want to have in my life. and then guess what: i found out about alec and bill. they're part of the good omens extended universe, and one among the many illogical husbands couples. they sounded terrific to me.

the idea of this ficlet is based mostly on the belief that alec can't cook to save himself, and poor daisy has had to bear with that for so long her mouth's gotten all numb. in comes multitalented bill masters with his ridiculously good food, and in a blink of an eye (maybe two blinks?) he's won her over. that's what they say, isn't it: the shortest way to a man's heart is through his stomach. might as well work for a young woman, eh?

one tiny disclaimer: i haven't watched masters of sex yet, so if bill seems more than a bit out of character here, it's because of that.
