Hey guys! In case you forgot, the Italics are your thoughts. Yeah, yeah, get on with the story. Also feel free to correct any grammar, punctuation or spelling mistakes that might be in here. 

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrgh! 

The myths were fine, but how were you going to remember the differences between Chiron and Charon, Agapios and Agape, Agathon and Agatone? What really needed was Annabeth. You and her had become very close friends and under that cold, absolutely terrifying, layer she was soft and giggly. And smart. She and Leo had become your best friends for the past week. Annabeth could probably think of twenty different ways for me to memorize these right now. What about I make them into a song? 

Chiron is the horse dude

and Charon is with the dead.

Agape or Agapios was a saint

Agathon was a poet

Not working! Ok. I am going to read my book now. Forget Greek. I will work on it when Annabeth gets back.

You fetch your book, snuggle down into a chair, and soon are deep in the story of North and South. Just as Margaret was turning down Mr. Thornton's proposal of marriage you heard a sound. You quickly were absorbed in your book again.

"BOO!"

You leaped out of your seat spinning your book as you went, hitting something in the head. You looked down and saw that the something was Leo.

"Oh! Sorry Leo." You said.

"You really need to stop hitting me cariño."

"Well you need to stop scaring me then."

"Never happening. Oh! Do you want to go swimming? Annabeth is coming and I can introduce you to some more of my friends."

"Ummm sure. I was supposed to be studying though."

"Please come! I'll help you study later." You seriously doubted that having Leo around would help you study but you wanted a break anyway.

"Ok. You wait outside while I put my swimsuit on."

-----A Few Minutes Later-----

This is your swimsuit.

You had your gray swimsuit on underneath some shorts and started to open the door when you realized that this was your chance! Leo would probably be waiting outside to scare you, but if you could sneak around back you could scare him instead!

You climbed out the back window, dropping to the ground with an oof you hoped he didn't hear. Slowly you slipped around the corner of the Athena Cabin and saw Leo with his back turned to you, waiting by the door ready to jump out at you. He was wearing neon orange swim trunks with fire on them they looked kind of weird but he looked great. He really does have a bunch of muscle under there. Wow.

Slowly, slowly, slowly you crept up on him.

"BOO!" You yelled.

 He jumped forwards off the stairs, terrified.

"Y/N!" He wasn't mad, just startled.

You however, had fallen backwards into the Hydrangea's because you were laughing so hard.

He lent you his hand and you took it. His hand is strong, callused and warm and felt comforting. 

"That was epic." He said, also laughing.

"Sure was! You should have seen your face! I wish I  had seen your face!"

You walked together down to the beach and when you got their you saw a cluster of mostly human people gathered there.

"Oy! Leo has a girlfriend now!" A boy with blond hair, blue eyes and white swim trunks said. You felt your face turn as red as a tomato with a sunburn. You glanced over at Leo and saw that his face was the same.

 "Well, actually we aren't dating... Leo mumbled. I wish we were though.

"You would make a cute couple." Piper said. She was wearing a beautiful purple bathing suit.

" Sorry about that. I'm Will Solace, son of Apollo by the way and this is Nico di Angelo here." He nodded his head towards a boy he had his arm around. Will was wearing bright yellow swim trunks.

 The boy was the only one there without a swimsuit, instead dressed in a black leather jacket which he must have been boiling in.

"Hi." Nico said. He's quiet. He seems nice enough though.

"Hello, I am Hazel. It's lovely to meet you... I'm sorry I don't think I know your name." The girl speaking was a short girl with gold eyes and cinnamon brown hair. She was wearing a ruffly printed orange one piece.

"Oh, sorry I'm Y/N."

She elbows the boy beside her gently.

"Oh! I'm Frank, nice to meet you." Frank was a giant. Well at least he looked like a giant standing next to Hazel. He had a nice smile and seemed gentle though. He was wearing black swim trunks.

"Hi, nice to meet you to Frank." 

"And this is Grover, Ella and Tyson and Juniper." Leo said.

Ella appeared to be a harpy and was wearing a red sundress.

Tyson, you assumed was a cyclops but didn't scare you. He seemed gentle, kind and a bit babyish. He was wearing a giant pair of pink swim trunks.

Grover you had met before but you hadn't seen his girlfriend who was a Dryad. Grover was wearing Hawaiian shorts.

Juniper said hi to you and you complimented her bikini which seemed to be made of leaves.

You introduced yourself to them all and then walked over to Annabeth. She was wearing a pretty, simple bikini which looked lovely on her.

As you were talking to her you saw a boy with sea green eyes begin to walk out of the water behind Annabeth. You were about to cry out when he put a finger to his lips and smiled. He didn't seem to want to harm her but you warned Annabeth anyway bye tapping your ear. (You made that up in class to help you fend off Leo attacks). She smiled and tapped back to acknowledge it. The boy was wearing neon blue swim trunks.

Annabeth waited until he was right behind her and then spun around, flipping him unto the ground and kissing him on the cheek.

"Say hi!" She elbowed the boy definitely not as gently as Hazel.

"Hi! I'm Percy!"

"Hi. What were you thinking trying to sneak up on Annabeth?"

"I guess I wasn't. Your Annabeth's new sister, right?"

"Sure am."

Just then two girls ran down towards the beach. One was dressed like a punk rock star and the other was in a simple white bathing suit.

"Hi, your Y/N right?" Said the punk girl. "I'm Thalia."

"And I'm Reyna." You said hi.

As you were talking to the Reyna and Thalia you noticed that all the boys except Nico were gone. You walked discreetly up to Annabeth.

"Don't look now, but most of the boys are gone." She nodded and moved over to Juniper relaying the same message. Soon all the girls knew what was going on but were still chatting away, pretending like they knew nothing. You carefully looked around and spotted some pink shorts that belonged to Tyson. 

"I think they are over there" All the girls meandered towards those pink shorts carefully, as if they had no idea what was going on. As they neared the pink shorts though you noticed that Tyson was the only one there. A trap! No! Just as you realized your fatal mistake you heard a Whoop! and all the boys came running down from the sand dunes.

 You started running but the boys had a head start plus the momentum from the hill. Soon they caught up with you and each of the boys picked up a someone running with them towards the ocean. You saw this happen to Piper and Annabeth. You started running harder. Then you saw Percy pick up Thalia and Reyna too with the water. Will picked up Nico. Tyson picked up Ella. Grover was trying to pick up Juniper but she just turned to leaves when he grabbed her. Eventually he kissed her which made her solidify and he was able to throw her in. Frank threw Hazel in easily. 

As you glanced behind you you saw Leo chasing you and beginning to gain. No! Not happening!  Faster!!!! You risked another glance behind and tripped over a bump in the sand. Noooooooooooooo I'm going down! Leo reached you and picked you up and started running for the water. Wow! His arms were strong and firm. You squirmed around and were almost free when he reached the water. 

He jumped in with you still in his arms. You sunk a bit still looking at him. He is beautiful. I love him. He was so funny and caring. He would never love me. He didn't deserve someone like me. He deserves the best person on earth. Not me. But I still love him. I will be the best of friends to him just so I can be close to him forever. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Air is still necessary!

You kicked upwards to the surface. When you reached the top you gasped for air and swam to shore, Leo following close behind.

Leo's POV

She was beautiful. She was so damn beautiful. She was super smart and funny too. She was strong and caring and altogether wonderful. I'm in love. That's too bad because she wouldn't like me. I thought that she was just a crush but when Will said that we must be dating I realized that I really love her. Not passing infatuation but love. I will love her forever. But she deserves someone better than me. Someone more...more...just someone more. When she was in my arms I felt wonderful. Like I could fly. She felt so comforting, so caring, so safe. I never wanted to let go. Just freeze time forever with her in my arms. 

Suddenly she kicked upwards and I remembered that I needed air to live. I swam to shore following close behind her.

Your POV

You were out of breath. You lay on the shore gasping. You had been under way too long, staring at Leo. 

"So you certainly lived up to your title today." You said once you had recovered your breath.

"What do you mean?"

"Bad boy Supreme."

"Oh yeah! And all da ladies love a bad boy! Too true. You laughed. Then you picked up some sand, through it in his hair and ran into the water. He shouted and ran after you but you reached the water first.

"Revenge is a dish best served cold!" You shouted and splashed him with the water. He splashed back. Soon there was an all out war which Percy won by summoning a small Tsunami. A little while later you lay on the shore again panting and gasping. 

Nico was in a bad mood. A really bad mood. So bad that a small army of bone rats had assembled around him. He didn't like to get wet and his leather jacket was ruined. He was yelling at Will very nicely at the moment.

"I do not appreciate the removal of myself from the shore! Stop smiling! It's hard to be angry with you when you smile. Stop! it"

"But you're are so cute when you're angry Death boy!"

"No! I am not cute! Well I don't mean to disagree with you! I am not cute though! I am the Lord of the Dead! No one likes me!"

"That's not true! I can name at least five people who love you!"

"Oh yeah! Who?"

"Bianca, Hazel, Me, Myself, and I." Then Will picked Nico up and kissed him. When Will put him down he had a mixture of joy and shock on his beet red face.

"Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaas!" Piper screamed.

"Sorry, was that too soon?"

"No, not at all..."

The two of them walked off together down the beach, hand in hand. 

The sun had set while you were play-fighting and now you were shivering with cold. You walked down the beach a bit rubbing your hands together. I miss dad. Your dad had no idea where you were and you couldn't think of a way to contact him. No phone calls. You didn't know his address so no letters.

Just then you felt a pair of warm hands on your shoulders. You turned around to face Leo.

"Mmmmmm you're nice and warm."

"I think Hot is a better term." He took his hands off and sat down. You followed suit. 

"Hey! Don't take your hands off! Unless you want to..."

"Alright here's the deal; you admit that I'm hot and I'll warm your hands."

"What? No." You shivered again. "Well fine." "You are so hot Leo Valdez. Happy now?"

"Very." He took your hands in his and began to warm them up. You looked into his eyes and saw that when he was using his power his eyes glowed. They were even more beautiful that way.

Leo broke the silence. "What were you thinking of when I came up my cariño?"

"I was thinking of my dad. Do you know of a way I could contact him? I don't know his address. He was moving around for some sort of music tour. He plays in a band called The Jiving Jeans. Kind of a dumb name huh?"

"That is a funny name. You know you could try Iris messaging him right?"

"Umm what? I should send him the goddess of rainbows?"

"Not what I meant. Iris messaging is a way for demigods to communicate to anyone they want without attracting monsters."

"Awesome! Do you think you could show me how in the morning?"

"Sure."

"The sun is really spectacular tonight, isn't it Hot stuff?"

"It's pretty but it isn't the prettiest thing here."

"What is?" But Leo just smirked and looked back out at the water. You spent the next hour or so looking at the stars naming the constellations you knew and making up new ones. Eventually you were chased back to your respective cabins by the cleaning harpies. 

"Good night my cariño!"

"See you in the morning Leo!"

So that was my chapter! Hope you enjoyed it! I just couldn't resist sneaking in a little Solangelo scene in there ;) I loved imagining what they would wear to the beach!
