Warning: Very very very very very very very very slight swearing. But if the "Gosh-darns" and the "dams" are to much for you I apologize(but I'm not changing it). Also F/F is Favorite Food.

You woke up, groggy. I stayed up way to late last night. You know what I need? I cup of coffee. A really big cup of coffee.

Just then Annabeth came in.

 "Hey sleepyhead! You're finally awake! Breakfast is almost over so you might want to get your butt out of bed." You leaped out of the bed and started dressing.

 "You and Leo were so cute last night Y/N."

 "What?! What do you mean?"

 " You and Leo, cuddling on the beach last night. "

 "We weren't cuddling. He was... warming my hands."

 " Ok. If you say so. How long have you had a crush on him for? "

 "I most definitely do not have a crush on him!" 

 " You do. I can tell. But if you don't want to talk about that's fine. "

 "Is it really that obvious?"

 "Well to me it is. And Piper, Hazel and Juniper agree with me."

 "Oh. Do you think he likes me back?"

 "Yes! It's even more obvious than you!"

 "Really?"

 "Yes. Now breakfast ends in ten minutes so hurry up!"

Wearing some shorts and a sweater, you ran down to the pavilion, Annabeth close behind. Skidding to a stop, you plopped down on the bench and said "Coffee." loud and clear. A small cup of black coffee appeared. "Large vanilla espresso." you tried again. A nice steamy vanilla espresso appeared and you began drinking it. A couple minutes later you got a croissant. 

After breakfast you felt energized and ready for the day. You changed quickly into some workout clothes and headed to training. First up was sword fighting taught by Percy and Jason. You weren't very good at anything except for hand to hand combat and Greek. 

 "No, no ,slash stab stab not slash slash stab." Said Jason.

"No it isn't, its slash slash stab." Said Percy.

"What about knee to the crotch and when they double over behead them?" You asked.

"...ok what ever works for you." Jason said.

"Yes! I like this girl!" Percy said.

"My only problem is that these dummies don't double over."

----A little while later----

You had finished sword fighting, canoeing, arts and crafts and lunch.

"Hi Annabeth."

"Hey Y/N! Oh, a bunch of the girls are going to have a camping sleepover tonight. Do you want to come?"

"Oh my gods, Yes!"

"I knew you would be excited."

"Who all is coming?"

"You, Piper, Hazel, Juniper, Thalia, Reyna, Katie, Rachel, Clarisse, Ella and I."

"Anything I should bring?"

"A sleeping bag, PJ's, toiletries and chocolate. Oh and we will all meet at the arena at seven tonight so be right on time."

"Ok awesome. See you then." You ran off to your favorite class of the day, Martial Arts. Lucky you, you had martial arts with the Hephaestus cabin. Leo will be there. What do I do? Just think. Plan. Rock it. I'm good at this. I've got this.

Leo's POV.

Y/N walked in. She looked good. I wonder how she'll do? She was really good in her dormitory so I bet she'll rock this. I hope I don't embarrass myself to bad. Right off the bat Annabeth paired me with Y/N. Of course. I wonder if she knows I like Y/N? I snapped out of my thoughts when she came over. 

"Hi." She said.

"Hello my cariño."

"So what was this Iris messaging thing you were talking about last night?"

"Oh it's where you throw a drachma through a rainbow and then it calls them."

"That doesn't make much sense but ok." 

Annabeth was asking for a volunteer for a choke hold. Y/N volunteered.

"Ok, so I want you to start sparring with me and then I am going to put you in a choke hold, got it?" Annabeth said.

They started circling each other like ladylike sharks. Can sharks be ladylike? I don't know but they managed to look like them.

 Annabeth dove for Y/N's legs and managed to bring her to the ground. Y/N fell in her back with her legs up and soon was back in her feet. I could already tell she wasn't going to let Annabeth demonstrate easily.  This went on for a few minutes, one of them getting an advantage and then the other. Neither of them was any closer to a choke hold so eventually Annabeth just asked for me to come up and demonstrate instead of her. Great I'm going to get my butt kicked by her again. Oh, and in public this time too. For extra fun. The Ares kids are never going to let me live this down.

As I was thinking about the torment I was going to be in afterwards she lunged and spun me around, and before I knew it I was in a choke hold again. Her arm was pressed against my windpipe, firmly but gently, enough to hold me there but not enough to bring me any unnecessary pain. That, at least I was grateful for. 

 "Very nice Y/N, but could you so it in slow motion for everyone else now?" Annabeth said. 

We stood back up facing each other. Then she repeated the same motion again, grabbing my shoulders and turning me away from everyone else, wrapping her arm around my neck, grasping her other arm with that one and tightening. Her touch felt wonderful. Her skin was slightly cool somehow even in the heat and it felt really nice since I, myself was overheating quickly.

"So are you still going to help me with that homework we talked about last night?" she whispered in my ear, barely audible.

"Yes of course, if you want me too."

"Ok we can do it after this then, at lunch."

"Great."

-----A little while later-----

Y/N's POV

You had grabbed a F/F and left for the lake, and now you were waiting for Leo to arrive. You had brought your Greek homework which you actually memorized already with a tiny bit of help from Annabeth but you didn't want to miss out on seeing Leo so you were going to pretend you didn't know it. This might be a bad idea. We'll see. Just then Leo arrived with a bowl of chili.

"Hey! How are you going to eat a bowl of chili in this weather? It's boiling out."

"It just makes me more hot."

"Yeah, yeah do you want to sit out on the docks?"

"If you want to, my cariño."

"Yes, let's go." As it happened the end of the dock was soaking wet. 

"Damn." You said. 

"No. It's fine watch this." Leo placed his hands on the dock and slowly heat spread through the boards, making the water evaporate and your feet rather warm. 

"Cool! You have so much control over it." He blushed and the end of his nose lit on fire. "Well most of the time." You giggled at his nose and lightly tapped it. It went out. You sat down taking out your books and put them out on the dock.

You grabbed the Greek myths memory test and asked Leo to read the questions out loud to you. He did so. You kept trying to get them wrong so it wasn't obvious that you studied last night, but it wasn't working because he was so distracting. You loved the way his voice sounded and enjoyed listening to him talk. 

" Hey, Y/N you have gotten every single one of these right. Do you know them already? "

"Yes... But I'll know them better if you help me review them. " 

"Ok, my cariño. "
