Alright, I've got this. I can do this. I just walk up and tell him. Right? Hi, I like you. No! That sounds dumb! I can't do this I just can't!

You heard a knock on the door.

"Hey, Y/N. You ok?" Annabeth said as she Piper and Hazel walked in the door.

"Yes. I'm fine. No! I'm not, I'm terrified!"

"Oh, don't be scared sweetie," Piper said, "he's a great guy and I'm sure he likes you back. If you really can't do this though, were not going to make you, even if it was a dare."

"Maybe it would help if you did it in an indirect way?" Hazel asked.

"Like what?" You questioned.

"Well what if you just slipped him a note that said "I like you." on it?"

"No, I think I want to do it in person."

"Oh I know how we are going to boost your confidence up!" Piper shrieked!

"How?"

"Come with me!" She pulled you into the bathroom and shut the door. She then handed some citrus scented soaps and told you to shower up and left. As you got into the tub you could hear murmuring outside. 

The water poured down your back and you let out a shout as the freezing water touched you.

"Everything ok?" You heard Hazel's worried voice.

"Fine! Just peachy!" You adjusted the water and opened the soaps which smelled heavenly.

After the shower you wrapped up in a towel and walked out the door. The girls explained their plan to dress you up for the whole thing.

"So we each picked an outfit you might like to wear." Piper said.

"Umm... Hazel's. Don't get me wrong they are all beautiful but her's is simple and pretty." You announced after a minute.

"Ok, makeup or no?"

"Is a little bit an option?"

"Of course!" Annabeth said, and Piper pulled out a bag. She applied a tiny bit of mascara and lip gloss, and put some concealer over the bags you had accumulated last night. You drank a cup of coffee and chatted for a bit while Annabeth played "We will rock you" on full volume to boost you up.

You began the journey to the Hephaestus Cabin.

"What is it?" She asked.

"Could I see Leo please?" You surprised yourself with how confident your voice sounded.

"Sure come in. He should be around here somewhere." You began to follow her in when you heard a voice behind you.

"Hey, whats up my cariño? " You turned around and saw Leo standing behind you. "Woah, do you have makeup on?"

" Um yeah, do you like it? "

"Yes it's beautiful, but you look great without it too."

" Awwww, thanks! Um do you want to go for a walk quick before breakfast ? "

"Sure my cariño. "

-----A few minutes later -----(You have been in the woods for a little bit now)

"Ok so, I wanted to tell you something." He said.  

What is it? Does he like me? Should I say I like him? What do I do? I'm not ready! No. I need to tell him. Then when he rejects me I can move on. Maybe. But then at least I'll know.

"Um, ok. I um wanted to tell you something too. But you can go first." You said.

"No. We'll say them at the same time. Ok?" He said, sounding nervous.

"Sure."

"I like you!" You both blurted out. What? He likes me? How? Why? Since when? 

"So, you like me too?" He asked, sounding terrified of rejection. I felt like a million butterflies burst into flight in my chest. I felt like she had ignited fireworks and here they were, hammering around in my rib cage. He liked me back!

"Yes. I like you a lot." I said.This can't be real! This is awesome!

"Not like a friend?"

"No, like you, like you."

"YES!" He shouted. "Did you ever figure out what my cariño means?"

"No. I had been meaning to but never got around to it." You said.

"It means "sweetie". He said.

"Wait, so you liked me ever since you met me?"

"Yes. You were funny, witty, beautiful, way out of my league, could kick my butt... exactly my type. Speaking of that my cariño, did you put on makeup and dress all fancy just to tell me you liked me? You didn't have to do that you know. You are beautiful with or without makeup. You could weigh 400 pounds, lose all your teeth, grow a beard and I would still like you."

"That is the sweetest thing some one has ever said to me. Thank you, McShizzle."

"You're welcome my cariño." He stepped closer and took your hand. Your faces were about eight inches apart and you could feel soft puffs of his warm breath on your face. He smelled of chocolate. Not a cheap milk chocolate, but a deep, dark, rich chocolaty smell that made you feel weak. His hand was big and calloused and warm. It felt so nice and set off more fireworks inside of you.  "Y/N L/N, will you be my girlfriend?"

"Yes." You had no other words. What could you say? 

He was so excited he started to catch fire. You reached up extinguishing a piece of hair that had started to burn, and ran your fingers through his hair, putting out the rest of the fire. His hair was so soft and lovely and smelled of chocolate. He pulled you tight against him in a warm hug, wrapping his strong arms around your waist. You could feel the heat radiating off him and it made you feel so cared for and warm and protected. 

"YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY/NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN" You heard a shout that sounded a lot like Percy's. Percy had sort of become your adopted bother over the past few days ever since Annabeth had introduced you to him.

"YOU HAD BETTER NOT BE KISSING ANYONE!" Leo's nose caught on fire.

"I'm so sorry! Um, I should probably go and see what he wants."

"Ok. See you after breakfast my cariño." You giggled and kissed him on the nose, putting out the small fire that had started there.

"Good-bye, McSchizzle!" You shouted as you turned and ran towards the sound of Percy's voice feeling like the most awesome person in the world. Looking back you could see that he was still standing there frozen in shock that you just kissed him.

As you exited the forest you passed Katie Gardner who seemed to be humming "We Will Rock You". 

"Hey Katie! Did you do it yet? How did it go?"

"Amazing! Rachel, Juniper and Thalia came over and helped me get ready and then I just walked over to him while he was playing volleyball and told him I liked him. And he likes me!"

"Details! What else happened Katie?! Spill!"

"YYY/NNN!" You heard again.

"Oh never mind, tell me later! Gotta go!"

As you walked up to Percy you saw he had a rather worried look an his face and seemed a little frantic.

"Y/N. What were you doing?"

"Talking to Leo. Why?"

"Because... um..."he stumbled over his words. "are you his girlfriend now?"

"Yes!"

"Ok. Bye!"

"Wait! Where are you going?"

"To give him the big brother talk since your dad isn't here and you don't have a real big brother."

"What! No! Percyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! Don't do that please!"

"Sorry got to go! Talk to you later!" You sighed and headed towards the dining pavilion to eat a proper breakfast, hoping Percy wouldn't scare Leo away.

Leo's POV

She kissed me on the nose.

He was so happy he didn't even notice Percy walking up to him (to tell the truth it more more like storming then walking).

"Leo Valdez!" He snapped out of his reverie.

"Hi Percy how it going?"

"Are you now dating Y/N?"

"Yes?...Yes. I'm pretty sure. She is my girlfriend now. So yes."

"Alright. If you so much as harm one hair on her head I will kill you. If I ever, if I ever find out you hurt her, you die." Percy snapped his fingers."Just like that."

"Whoa, go easy there dude! Why would I ever want to hurt her? I love her and I would never do anything to harm her. I promise."

"Ok! Sounds good! Want to go get some lunch?"

"Um sure! Yeah let's go Aquaman!" 

"Don't call me that!"
