So the last one was kind of sad but sweet so this time I'm going for light and fluffy and funny! Also I changed the book cover. Let me know what you think about it, better or worse than the last one?

Previous Chapter: 

"Do you want to go to the beach?" You asked.

"Yes."

Now:

"Race you!" You shouted and ran off towards the beach.

"Hey! No fair!" Leo shouted but ran after you anyways. As you glanced behind you you saw him catching up slightly and put on some extra speed, making it into the water just before him. It was freezing! You still had your clothes on but didn't care. In fact you were almost thankful for them. You ran along the beach in the water him still close behind. 

"Cariño!" He shouted after you. "Come back!" Deciding you had run enough you walked back over to him and he pulled you into a hug.

Without saying anything he wrapped his arms around you. You could feel his breath on the back of your neck. The water was cold but he was warm. Slowly you could feel yourself warming up a bit. He felt so nice. 

Then you began to feel mischievous. (Dun dun dun!) You shifted you weight onto your toes and suddenly pushed forwards, him falling into the water with you on top. You hadn't run out very far so the water was very shallow. When you fell Leo got absolutely soaked while you got wet except for your head. 

"Gah!" He came up gurgling and looking slightly mad. Oops. Was that to much? We were sort of having  a moment... 

"Y/N!" 

"Yes?" You said, as sweetly and as innocently as possible. "What is it deary?"

"I'll get you for this!" He yelled with a smile on his face, stood up and started splashing you. You splashed back. Soon enough there was another full on splash war. You ran at him splashing him with as much water as you could muster but it just steamed off of him. In frustration you stamped your foot and slipped into the water. Leo, foolishly, tried to catch you and ended up falling on you.

 You untangled yourself from him and sat there, holding his hand. As you two looked back at the beach you could see lots of other couples had had the same idea. Juniper was sitting in Grover's lap near the woods. Ella was sitting on Tyson's shoulder's slapping him on the head sometimes and yelling "Faster!"and Tyson was laughing the whole time. Travis and Katie as well as Jason and Piper were sitting on beach blankets in the sand. Farther into the woods it looked like Rachel was walking with some tall boy in purple and white but you couldn't be sure. You could guess were Percy and Annabeth were.

 You could also tell that a lot of them had been watching you and had been laughing at your antics. Nico was sitting under an umbrella fully dressed and Will was sitting beside him in the sun. Even from here you could here their conversation/argument.

"This date is boring." said Nico.

"This isn't a date. I said I was going to the beach." Will said.

"Then why did you invite me?"

"I specifically said "Don't come with me." because you are still healing from the last time you shadow traveled but you said "F*ck you Will, I do whatever I want." and followed me here."

 Nico made a small growling sound in the back of his throat.

"Will. Just stop."

"Stop what?"

"Talking."

"Why?"

"Because your stupid southern accent is adorable and I don't want to blush this early in the morning." As an afterthought he added; "Damn. I said that out loud didn't I?"

"That's so sweet cutie! Even if you were telling me to shut up. And besides it's after breakfast on a Saturday."

"It's still too early. I was up almost all night."

"You didn't sleep?"

"Yes! I did! For three hours!"

"The human body needs eight hours of sleep to function properly."

"I am functioning just fine!"

"Sure you are sunshine."

"I am darkness! You are sunshine! Geez get it straight!"

"But I'm not."

"Not what?"

"Straight."

"Aargh!"

"They sure are cute aren't they?" You said looking over at Leo.

"Yep. But not as cute as us!" You blushed and then shivered, it was really cold.

"Hey! You're cold! Why didn't you tell me? Come on let's go get you warmed up." Leo stood up and offered you his hand. You helped yourself up and walked in to shore. Leo procured a blanket from somewhere and set it up on the warm sand. You sat cross legged on the mat and Leo sat behind you wrapping you up with himself as much as possible. 

Leo's POV

Being in such close contact with you made Leo start to blush and heat up and before he knew it you were completely dry and very warm. I practiced this last night. I've got this.

"Are you a child of Hades? Because your drop dead gorgeous." I said to her. She turned around and her face looked as red as mine felt.

"Oh is that what we're doing? Alright then. Me without you is like a nerd without braces, shoes without laces and ASentenceWithoutSpaces."

"Y/N, you are so delightful, cheerful, and bright, you can make Batman rent an apartment and abandon his cave!"

"If you were Christmas I'd be the Grinch that stole you." With that she pulled me around to her front and I lay down with my head in her lap.

I looked up into her E/C eyes and watched her hair fall down around her face and felt like I was looking at an angel. A funny quirky, nerdy angel that could kick my butt. And I would probably thank her for it.

"You're so stunning I forgot my pick up line." I said.

 "Your so if you were a vegetable you'd be a cute-cucumber. " She said.

 I'm pretty sure that by now my chest was going to explode with happiness.

"Can I be your Prince Charming?" I asked.

Slowly she leaned down and kissed my forehead and held her lips there for a moment. The ends of my hair lit on fire.

 " Why would I ever want a prince when I can have a king that treats me like the queen I am?" She said.

Will's POV

"Nico! Look at them! Why can't we be cute like that?" 

"Because you're a peasant!"

 We can. Let's try and flirt a little bit.

"Nico. I like your pants. "

"Thank you, I got them 50% off."

Ha! My chance!

"I'd like them 100% off."

"The store cant just sell free stuff."

"No, that's not what I meant-"

"That's a terrible way to run a business Will."

I sighed. Oh well, maybe another day we can practice our flirting.
