You slumped in your chair, exhausted from the boring speech the principal had to give. It was a miracle that Luffy even managed to not get scolded by the teacher from his grumbling stomach throughout the entire thing. The Straw Hat did eat some snacks immediately after everyone left the auditorium and had been talking nonstop to you even with his mouth full, which is another reason for why you were so exhausted.

"Does he ever shut up?" Ace smirked, sitting cross legged on your desk. Your chair was by the window, something that you feel happy and sad about. Happy, because you always loved to look outside whenever the subject bored you. Sad, because Ace's body was...ghost-like again.

The call of your name made you look over and saw Luffy's face uncomfortably close to yours with a wide grin. Any inches more closer and you would have kissed him on the lips!

"Y-Yes...?" You stammer with pink dusting your cheeks as you awkwardly leaned your head back away from his. Looking up as he gave out a low and amused chuckle, you saw that he had an orange-haired girl and a long nosed boy with him.

"I wanted you to meet some of my friends!" He chimed and shoved the two forward closer to you.

"Hey, I'm Nami," The girl said with a wave.

"And I am the mighty Usopp, the kid that rules this school!" The boy with the long nosed puffed his chest out proudly with a smug grin on his face.

You smiled at them. They seemed nice at least.

"Guys, this is (Name)! The girl I was telling you about!" Luffy declared proudly as he wrapped an arm around your shoulder.

You stiffened, taking a quick glance at Ace and frowned worriedly as he glared menacingly at Luffy. "Why I outta---" He pulled his fist back and readying to strike, but the classroom door slammed open and made everyone, even Ace, stare silently.

"Uh-oh..."Nami breathed, frowning and biting her lip.

You could feel the alarmed tension in the air and you did not like it one bit. It made you nervous. More than usual.

"Well, well, well." A boy with dirty blonde hair and tanned skin strolled towards your seat, slammed his hand down on your desk where Ace's foot was, and sneered down at you. "Seems like we got some fresh blood here, guys." He cackled and, from behind him, were his group of lackeys laughing and snickering at you.

Oh no, looks like trouble found you before you could avoid it.

You began to whimper and shrink back, but then Luffy kept his grip on your shoulder and his arm was wrapping itself around you closer to him almost like he was protecting you from the leers of the troublesome group. Usopp cowered behind Nami and his knees trembled as he spoke, "H-Hey! Come on, Bellamy, it's the first day of school! You can't just---"

The guy which he called Bellamy took one quick look at Usopp, and that was all it took for the poor boy to faint. You let out a squeak of surprise as Usopp lay on the floor unconscious with a loud thud.

Bellamy laughed boisterously then looked back at you. "As if I care about getting into trouble with the faculty!" He leaned in closer to your face. His breath smelled like alcohol, had he been drinking?

You stared motionlessly as he tipped your chin up, watching as his tongue licked his lower lip while gazing at you hungrily. "I think I just found myself a new toy," He smirked. Your eyes looked at Luffy, who was frowning in disapproval.

"Why don't you ditch that loser and come be mine?" He whispered, face closing in on yours. You felt yourself panicking and the tears began to well up in your eyes as his lips neared your own. "We can skip first period and go have a little fu---"

BAM!

Everyone in the room gasped as Bellamy blasted through the opposite wall from you. An angry growl came out as he punched the broken cement walls off of him, his eyes locked with Luffy's in a dangerous frenzy-like glare.

"DAMN YOU, STRAW HAT!!!"

You leaned closer to Luffy's ear and whispered quietly, eyes not leaving the angry blonde as he pushed himself up. "Did you do that, Luffy?"

Luffy shook his head, slowly releasing his arm around you as he stepped forward, rolling his shirt sleeve up and readying to fight. "Nope, but it was awesome."

Nami looked between the two classmates then frowned at her friend. "Dammit, Luffy, you promised that you would stop punching people through walls! The principal will have our heads for this!"

"It wasn't my fault! I didn't even touch him!" Luffy retorted.

You frown worriedly and rubbed your arms. Somehow it suddenly felt colder, but that couldn't be when the window was closed up tightly.

But then you remembered that you didn't come to this school alone....

"(Name)? You're not hurt, are you? The bastard didn't do anything, did he?"

Slowly looking over to your side, you saw Ace sitting in the same position he had been, but his fist was clenched firmly and a fire burning in his eyes. A rush of cold wind seemed to spiral around his body as he glared at Bellamy and his group. "Yeah... I-I'm okay..." You whisper.

If Luffy wasn't the one who punched Bellamy through the wall, then that means...

"Good to know." Ace growled angrily and jumped down the table. He took a stand beside Luffy and cracked his knuckles. "I'm gonna fucking teach that asshole a lesson."
