Domino gripped her bat tightly and swung it with full force. However Satori jumped away easily, almost as if he had expected the attack.

She snarled and swung her bat again, only for the weapon to be dodged by a mere centimeter.

"Let me bash your face in, you damn beach ball!!" She yelled angrily.

Satori laughed and began to dance on top of one of the spheres. Mika glared and unsheathed her remaining dagger. "You attack his left and I'll go for the right." She commanded.

As the two battled against the guardian, Teddy and Law rushed to help Marie and Kid out of the water. Their clothes were soaked and, what's worse, Kid wasn't moving!

"I am not giving him CPR," Teddy muttered with a frown.

Law shot her a glare before checking for Kid's pulse. Marie was crying again, but that wasn't the issue at the moment. As Teddy looked up at the battle, it was clearly not in their favor.

Even though it was a fight of two against one, none of their attacks seemed to even reach the annoying winged man. Domino struck from above while Mika charged from below, only for Satori to spin out of the way and the two allies crash into each other.

She then remembered Luffy and rushed over to check on him. His body seemed to be injured and he was barely breathing properly. "H-Hey, come on, wake up!" She gently shook his shoulder.

Luffy let out a quiet groan and opened his eyes. Though his vision was blurry, he could make out the sea green hair of Teddy. "Hey... Teddy..." He whispered hoarsely.

He sounded so weak, it made her heart ache to see him like this. A gentle hand enveloped his own and she flashed him a kind smile. "What is it?" She asked.

Luffy reached out and cupped her cheek delicately. His eyes half-lidded like he was about ready to pass out again. As he leaned closer to her face, she could feel her heart hammering in her chest.

"Teddy..." He whispered her name again.

"Y-Yeah...?" She carefully wrapped an arm around his torso as he leaned against her, his hot breath blowing against her ear made her face turn a deep crimson color.

"Teddy... I..." Luffy coughed, "I'm... Still hungry..."

She blinked and snapped back to reality. With a frown she pushed him off her and scoffed, "Damn it all, I thought you were dying!!"

-meanwhile, a few feet away from the battle-

Marie gave Kid mouth to mouth CPR, something she never considered doing until now. Even after all the bullshit the guy had put her through over the past year, she couldn't let him die. Her conscience wouldn't let her.

After briefly pulling away to listen if he was breathing, Kid frowned and rolled over to his side, coughing up a large amount of water.

"Nice job." Law patted her shoulder as she sighed in relief. "But it's not over yet, we still have to shut him up."

Marie nodded and frowned as Satori was now just laughing at Domino and Mika. The two girls were trying to balance on one sphere but clearly not handling it well.

Satori spun around like a ballerina and said, "Be careful or else those things could pop!"

Mika tilted her head in confusion, but gasped when the point of her dagger had poked the floating ball and had indeed popped it. At the same time, Domino had moved on to another sphere, but her foot slipped and she headbutted it.

Immediately Mika fell once the ball popped and she was surrounded by noisy and unusual-looking birds. Hues of blue, orange, green, and red were all she could see as they flew around her at an incredible speed, much like a tornado. Their chirps were high frequency that could make anyone's ears bleed.

A large pair of red pincers and three pairs of legs shot out from either side of the other sphere, two crabby eyes blinked. "What the heck?!" Domino started whacking the weird spherical crab with her bat.

Teddy began to panic. She had to do something, anything.

"You can't beat me that easily!" said Satori. "I can predict your moves before they even happen! Ho, ho hooo!"

"Predict moves before they happen?" She looked down at her hands and an idea sparked in her head. "It's worth a shot!"

She closed her eyes and pointed an index finger towards Satori's direction like she was holding a gun. With a deep breath, she shot multiple blobs of honey at him.

"HEY!!!"

She smiled when she heard his angry cry and opened her eyes to find the guardian stuck to one of the spheres.

"WHY'D YOU HIT ME FOR?!" Domino exclaimed and squirmed around to break free from the sticky hold. Apparently she was hit as well and stuck to the back of the sphere crab.

"Oops, sorry," Teddy laughed.
