Shrinking under Kid's cold glare, she felt a wave of agitation course through her veins. Her hands, still trembling in fear as the man began to advance towards her, were held up in front of her face like a protective shield.

"This is bad..."

She heard someone mutter under their breath, though she didn't dare take her eyes off the frightening redhead to check who it was.

As Kid had now towered over her smaller form, she let out a scared whimper, fueling the man's already large ego. Teddy swallowed the lump in her throat, watching unmovingly as a pale and large hand reached out to grab her.

KACHUNK!

A dagger flew passed, making Kid freeze just as the blade barely touched his skin only a few centimeters, before implanting itself into the concrete floor beside the startled new student. All eyes turned to the owner of the weapon, a girl with dark blue hair.

"Mika," Kid scowled, turning around to face his next target.

However the girl called Mika returned the scowl with one of her own. Her pale skin complementing her icy blue eyes showed a more cold and murderous expression than Kid's.

"Mika, don't do it." Leo warned her.

Tension began to hang over the atmosphere and, just as it seemed another fight was about ready to commence, Law casually walked in between the two and blocked their sights of each other.

"Now, now, Eustass-ya, Rune-ya," He said calmly. "If the faculty found out about this then everyone present will be sent to detention.

Everyone stayed silent. Law was right, as usual. But still, Kid wouldn't really care if he got into detention or got suspended from the school altogether. He just wanted somebody to punch at the moment.

"I think I can beat you up a bit before any teachers come running." Kid muttered. Teddy looked up and realized he was addressing to her, a dangerous grin on his red painted lips. Law frowned when Kid ignored him, something that he hated a lot.

When Kid raised a fist to strike at the sea green haired girl, he abruptly halted his attack midair when she suddenly pouted at him. "Oh YEAH?!" She huffed, "Well... Flip and Run!"

Kid blinked confused, "Flip and Run???"

She nodded, slamming her hand down on the table that was standing conveniently beside her, she grabbed the edge of the table and flipped it over, making the table fling itself at Kid's face.

"FLIP AND RUN, MOTHAFUCKA!!!"

She screamed as she ran away.

The loud echoes of Araina's laugh and the angry howl of a now pissed of Eustass Kid rang in her ears as she raced off to God-knows-where.

Great. Just flipping great. Not only was she going to die from getting beaten up senseless by a short-tempered powerhouse freak, but today was only her third day in the school!

She ran up the stairs, dodging students who walked in trios and groups, and ran even faster when she heard Kid shoving people away as he tried to catch her.

"I'M SO SORRY! PLEASE DON'T KILL ME!!" She screamed in horror, running faster than the wind as Kid pulled out two pistols and started shooting at her.

"YOU SHOULD HAVE THOUGHT OF THAT BEFORE FLIPPING A TABLE AT MY FACE!!!" Kid shouted back at her.

"THAT WAS SELF-DEFENSE!"

"I'LL FUCKING BREAK YOUR ARMS AND SHOVE THEM DOWN YOUR THROAT, BITCH!"

"NOOOOOOOO!!!!"

Teddy ran down the hall and turned a corner. She was panting hard and her lungs were burning from the lack of oxygen. Her vision began to sway and blur, and eventually she was slowing down.

"Can't run.... Too tired..." She gasped and fell to her knees. Students began screaming and jumping out of the way when they saw Kid running towards her. One particular student, a boy with dark curious eyes and a straw hat, was watching the tired girl silently.

"Damn you...author-san....for giving me....such a low stamina..." Teddy coughed between wheezes, before collapsing to the floor.
