Nilam ♥ Rajan Story

Part Ⅰ

Has been only the past few weeks since Esther's heart stop beating. The transplant of the new Heart was successful as surgery but She had fallen in deep comatose. Tomas and Hermione are becoming ghosts around Hospital. Nilam and Rajan stay with them most of the time. Nilam takes Hermione to her home as the little one can't stay without her mum anywhere. Rajan tries to be supportive of his old friend but the sense of guilt is eating him inside.

Every time that Tomas comes out of Esther's room is breathless. His heart is in pain and Nilam was there this time.

"Nilam if she goes I go with her! I can't see her like this and don't do anything for her!"

"You need to be strong bro, our Queen will wake up she can't let us down!" Nilam said and took him in a warm sisterhood embrace then stood face to face with him.

"Don't give up! She will come to life she isn't alone there! For her children, she does everything and for you... Man you don't have any idea how much she loves you!" she said and kissed on the front, he took her hands and kissed.

"Thank you, sis! If you and my bro Rajan will not be here I will be a dead person! I own you so much!"

"We are a family in good and bad!" she said and stood head to head crying.

A middle woman dressed in a heavy saree was looking at them and walking toward them.

"You better go and wash yourself Hermi will come soon with Rajan," she said and he went dressed as a surgeon cause there inside her room need to be sterile. Nilam turned and saw the woman, smiled at her, and drew her tears away.

"You slut!" the woman said and slapped her hard.

"Mum!" was the scream of Rajan coming fast with Hermione in his arms, luckily she didn't see it. He let Hermione on the stool as she was sleeping.

"Son you missed her whoring around as pretend to be sad for her friend!" his mum continues insulting Nilam.

"Mum stop with all these insults! I will not permit you or no one to say nothing for my wife!"

"There is her lover!" she said pointing toward Tomas that was coming without the surgery's dress. Rajan saw him than Nilam.

"Raj I was just comforting him!" Nilam explained his suspicious look.

"I know, Nil!"

"What happens here?" Tomas said and suddenly saw Nilam hiding her face with her hair. He forced her to let him see.

" Who did this Nilam?" Tomas asked as raised her chin and turn her face to see fingerprints there.

"Tomas let it go! Is familiar issue!" she said hiding her face again.

"We are a family Nilam, you said it before, I am your bro who did it I am asking?" he raise his voice.

"You see it son they put some bro and sis there and make you for a fool!"

"Mum shut up! Is enough! Come with me!" he said and grabbed his mum from his arm and forces her to walk. Nilam went after them. Hermione wake up and Tomas stayed with her.

"Raj calm down! Is your mum!" Nilam said as matched his walking. He stops and enters an empty room.

"She is my mum but you are my wife Nil, she crossed all the lines today. How could you hit her? No better I say: How you dared to hit her? She is my wife, my woman the mother of my children! You know those nephews that love you so much, she taught them not me! Cause I am ashamed to be called your son since we were in Rajasthan. Is time she finds all the truth of your shameless thing!"

"What you are talking Raj?" asked Nilam.

" She didn't hire only Puja to enter in our bed and pretend as I sleep with her during the time you were Visiting your granny! I am so ashamed right now Nilam! Sorry for everything I couldn't prevent."

"What did she do, Raj? Please don't tell me is that what I am thinking? He was by her order?!" Nilam said.

"Yes she was hired only to make me believe you were cheating me, she forgot that you tell me everything!"

"Just for saying some truth to your face you hired someone to rape me the wife of your son, your daughter in low?" she yelled to her.

"Don't pretend innocence you are a whore!"

"No, you are ma'am, the worst of whores!" Nilam said and run away.

"You gonna let her insult me like this?" his mum asked him. Rajan went after her when he saw that Nilam was in the arms of Tomas, crying. Tomas send it to the bathroom and hold her hair as she vomit then helped wash her face. She draw it and he hugged again when they were outside the bath, Hermi come and catch her dress then Tomas hold his daughter in arms and had a group hug. Rajan saw all this and didn't intervene. He took her smile and they brought it again.

Late that night, Nilam turns to her Home. All are back in New York cause of Esther's heart transplant. Hermione and Tomas went to the Hotel there is Freya too. Kids were to her parents back to California.

His mum was gone too. He was standing in the darkness of the living room. She brought the light. He turned to see her.

"They didn't come?!"

"No, they went to the Hotel Freya has come back!"

"Raj, I am sorry for the way I spoke to you mum! I am sorry, I will ask her sorry too! I need just you to understand me It was hard to know all that!" she said and start to cry. Her cries make him only hug her but this time he didn't do that.'

"You had it right to say it, I can't cause she never behaved with me like this, she raised me with all good things, not just me but my sisters too. I failed you Nilam! I promised a beautiful life but you only had seen the ugly part and is all my fault I was too blind to see the truth in time. My mistakes, my wrong choices brought us here! Today I saw it more clearly I am not the right one for you. He is?!"

"Who is?" she asked fearing his answer.

"Tomas Taylor is the right one for you! He respects you, the value you persona is protective, kind and has a particular love for you, I know is just bro-sis love for now but can be something more!"

"What are you trying to say?"

"Esther is gone forever, there is only her body left like an incubator for twins she has! When Babies born they will shout down her life. He needs you by his side as a friend and something more cause only you can keep him alive!"

" I took his time to be with Esther back than being a bit selfish and choosing my family name and reputation and look how I got paid off?! My mum insulting and hurting the woman I love," he said in a calm voice.

"Tom is suffering he can't even think right now! Esther dying from heart insist to born their child! Their love is untouchable. They wait for each other 10 fucking years not glaring at someone else. I am afraid for Hermione and her siblings if they come to life cause the moment Esther stops to breathe Tom dies too! He will not accept to breathe in this world without his Queen. And is you that are giving up on us being sound and safe. You got repented staying so much faithful to one woman?! You are missing your playboy time dear husband? Go then sleep around! I am a devoted woman, I will wait for you to come back and pretend as nothing happened! I promised that only dead I remove my sindoor and mangalsutra which holds your name, Rajan Singh. If you want to divorce as I said only death do us apart!" she said and broke one of his whiskey bottles. Took his hand and placed the broken piece there and pointed to her throat.

"Finished if you forget how we met? How did we fall in love? What did we do for each other? Maybe our love cant be epic like them but is our love story if you forget how you felt for me and you have only guilty conscience cut my throat! Did you forget everything Rajan?!" She said fearlessly about her life.
