Imagine Jace and Isabela are still going on stronger than ever.

Both had finish college successfully in different parts of the states, doing a long distance relationship. No cheating involved.

Both visited each other on breaks and holidays.

Both have amazing jobs.

Both met each others parents who love and adore them like their own.

Both said the L word and meant it and mean it.

Both friends approve of the relationship even Riele.

See Riele had the biggest crush on Jace- her best-friend, when they were younger but, never showed it, failing every time she attempted to tell him. And when one day Jace announce that he was dating Isabela, she knew any chance she had with Jace was now over.

So she had to push her feelings aside behind a fake smile and cheer her friends on. Because she knew there were going to be others who will disapprove of them. And she was not going to be one of them.

She also had helped them a lot with their relationship. Any time they had problems she would help them out. Or if they had any misunderstanding she was right there, making sure everything sailed smoothly.

She even helped Jace with most important decision Jace had to make in his whole twenty-six and a half years.

The question.

Isabela and Jace were strolling down the side-walk nearing the park- hand in hand, Jace wanted to take her for a walk that day.

The sky was dull and gloomy, clouds up there, in the cold evening but, not daring to threaten this perfect moment with rain. There was also fog every where making everything look gray with mist. Although there was no sun in sight, Jace had the all the light he needed next to him with a smile on her face, but something in her eyes said something different. Jace was extremely happy he had the girl of his dreams.

"Let's stop here." she said gesturing toward the bench to the left of them, letting go of his hand. They both sat down on the bench sitting in silence. A good silence at least for Jace, as for Isabela it was eating away at her and she had to tell him, the sooner the better. But it just couldn't leave her lips. Maybe it has to be later.

"Isabela?" Jace said kind of shakey.

"Yes." She replied looking at some kids running along in the distance. She had always wanted one of those.

"Since the day that I met you. I knew I would always want you in my life. As a friend or even more than that. And I got both those wishes, I was the lucky guy you said yes to." "We had some struggles, we got through them, all the best relationsships do. It made us stronger and stay together longer then most thought we would." He said shifting his position to a kneeling one taking her hand in his once again.

"What I'm trying to say is that I love you, always have and always will. And I am asking Miss Isabela Elizabeth Moner, will you make me the most gleeful man on this earth and do the honor of marrying me?" He said taking out a velvet red small box with a bow on it from his coat pocket.

Opening it to see a twenty-four carrot white gold ring with three big dazzling diamonds on it. Isabela was starting to cry, not tears joy but sadness. She couldn't say yes she has to tell. With one hand on her mouth to hide her sobs, she lightly shakes her head saying no.

Jace stands up closing the box putting back in his pocket, stepping closer to her. "Isabela, what's wrong?" He said concerned wiping away some of her tears.

"I can't." She manged to choke out.

"Why, what's wrong?" He said a little hurt.

She had stop most of her crying by now. "I'm sorry Jace, I can't." She said still getting herself together as Jace waited patiently for her to finish. "I love you Jace I do. But, I just can't continued on like there's nothing wrong."

Jace was now extremely confused he had no idea what she was talking about. "I'm not getting it." He said. His confusion evident on his face. "What's wrong?" He asked again.

"I know you love me Jace, just not in that way." She said "You love someone else. I'm sorry I didn't say any of this sooner. I should have told you, I saw this. I should have ended this then. I'm so sorry." she said started to cry again. 

"I don't understand, Isabela I only love you." He said starting to tear up.

"You love her not me." She said whipping away her tears.

"Who are you talking about?"

"Jace, who always helped us with our relationship? Who always standing up for our relationship? Who always builds us back up when we were down? Who put the piece together when no one knew where the missing peice were? Who help you with all this?" She asked. "Her. She's the one."
She stode up on her toes to kissed his cheek. "Bye, Jace." She whispered, walking away from the man who looked like a little boy who lost his puppy.

Devastated.

Both Loved

Both made mistakes.

Both were only human.

Both were fulled with emotion.

Both were ready to head in a direction.

But different ones.
