— There's gotta be !

Kami walked around the training camp dorm like a madman, she was on the search for Tanaka, she needed to talk to him. Kami had just finished getting ready and getting ready with Sonmi, this was where Sonmi had told her friend she had a romantic dream about Tsukishima. When Kami heard this, she obviously kept her cool when she told her, button the inside she was going insane. Kami always had a slight feeling there was something way more than insulting between Tsukishima and Sonmi. The brunette was practically running around the dorm looking for her bald headed counterpart, she had to tell him all about Sonmis' dream as well as what she saw between Asahi and Sonmi.

"Kam!"

Kamis head whipped around, "Tanaka!" She shouted, "Me, you, Noya, talk, NOW!" She exclaimed.

The three convened in the gym, all near the storage room where no one would hear them. Tanaka and Nishinoya were practically on the edge of their seats with the news Kami was about to break to them. She rushed them into the room and shut the door quickly.

"Guys," She said simply, "I don't even know how to explain this shit."

"You like Tanaka?" Nishinoya spurted.

"No!" Kami exclaimed

"Hey!"

"You're in love with Tanaka?"

"Nishinoya this is serious!"

"Is that not serious?" Tanaka questioned, now looking at Kami with pleading eyes.

Kami rolled her eyes, "Nevermind that!" She dismissed, "There's something going on between Sonmi and Asahi."

"Well duh." Nishinoya agreed, "Anyone with eyes could see that."

"No but listen, remember how we all left that little incident with Hinata and Asahi was supposed to walk Sonmi back?" She asked looking for approval from the boys, who then nodded their heads, "Well, last night I left the door open a crack for whenever Sonmi got back, and I heard them talking and I saw them get extremely close."

"Woah did they kiss? Go Asahi!" Tanaka said.

Kami quickly shushed him, "I don't think so but they got pretty close to. They were just talking and there was serious tension there. They hugged for like a full two minutes."

Nishinoya stood there confused, "Okay but, why is this a surprise? Its obvious they like each other so obviously they're gonna show interest."

"You're not letting me finish!" Kami said, now getting the boys full attention, the two looked at each other than back at the small girl, they could only imagine what else was gonna come out of her mouth, "This morning when I was getting ready, Sonmi told me she had a dream that she went on a date," She paused, dragging the suspense, "With Tsukishima."

The boys faces dropped, they looked as if they had seen a ghost, "What?!" They exclaimed.

The trio finished their talk quickly after the rest of the team arrived for morning practice. The teams prating started, but every chance the three could get together and talk about the problem more, they would. This time they all were standing around the ball pit, pretending to do something semi-important.

"So you mean to tell me," Nishinoya said shaking his head, "Sonmi is showing all this interest in my boy Asahi, but is dreaming about the guy who slammed a ball into her head and nearly killed her?" When he said it aloud, it still didn't make sense in his head, "She's gonna be the biggest idiot out of all of us, and that's saying a lot since Tanaka and I are here."

Tanaka quickly perked up, "Hey!" He said, causing Nishinoya to shrug, "Besides, some girls are into being that. The whole douchebag act, they go nuts for it."

"But Tsukishima? If she wanted someone mean, she could like Kageyama, but Tsukishima is like new level asshole, like he nearly put her in a coma." Kami was trying to piece together how it was possible, sure she knew there was something there, but there was no logic between it.

"Do you think something happened between them at their practice?" Nishinoya asked, also trying to figure out how this was possible, he wanted Asahi to be happy, so he didn't like to know the girl his friend was interested in was dreaming of other guys.

"Oh yeah, they were 'praciting together'," Tanaka said with air quotes, "They might be having a secret love affair!" He lightly joked.

"I already asked! She said no, but she like avoided the question kinda." Kami explained, "There's definitely something there, there's gotta be!"

"This just doesn't make sense!" Nishinoya exclaimed with a sigh, "I don't believe it."

"Don't believe what?"

The three turned away from the ball pit, to be faced by Sonmi, she was smiling, her hands behind her back, rocking back and forth on her feet. They all looked at each other and then looked at her again, all smiling awkwardly trying to play their conversation off.

"Nothing nothing at all." Tanaka said with his voice cracking, he knew he was a bad liar, but he couldn't exactly tell the girl that they were gossiping about her love life.

Sonmi had a puzzled look on her face, "O-okay?"

"Wow look at the time, we gotta go do our run! Bye Sonmi!" Nishinoya excused himself, rushing off before Sonmi could get another word in.

"Yeah bye Sonmi!" Tanaka said, hustling away with Nishinoya.

"What was that about?" Sonmi asked Kami.

Kami shrugged, she was good at playing things like these off, "I have no idea, we were just talking about if ghosts are real after last night. They were probably just embraced to admit they think they are real." The girl quickly lied.

Sonmi laughed, "No way, that's so funny."

Kami nodded, laughing back, she was trying to think of a way to again ask about her current situation, now was the perfect time considering the boys all had left to go for a run. She noticed Sonmi was walking around picking up the balls off the floor, Kami swiftly started to help her before she asked, "So, Son," Kami said calling her by her nickname.

"Yes Mi?" Sonmi said not looking up at her, continuing picking up the balls.

"Do you like Asahi?" She simply asked.

Sonmi looked up at her, the question took her by surprise, "What?"

"Do you like Asahi?" Kami reiterated, emphasizing every word in the sentence this time.

Sonmi was confused, "That's random of you to ask." She said simply, now looking down back at the balls on the floor, "But, uh," She started, she wasn't sure how to respond to her friend, "I don't know."

"Do you like Tsukishima?"

"What? No!" Sonmi shouted, "What kind of question is that?"

Kami shrugged, finally looking up at her friend, "I don't know you did have a dream about him last night."

"I was thinking about how he invited me, so it probably happened because he was the last person I thought about last night."

Kamis eyes lit up, "He was the last person you thought about before sleeping last night?" She asked with a slight smirk on her face.

Sonmis' face was bright red, she couldn't tell because she was angry or just embarrassed. The girl quickly starting picking up more balls from the floor, completely ignoring Kami and the smirk that was across her face.

Sonmi was not the only person with a bright red face, Tsukishima had quiet the red face also, but not because of embarrassment but because of heat exhaustion. Tsukishima was normally not one of the first ones to be finished with his run, normally it was Hinata or Kageyama.But today, he stood there with Yamaguchi and Kagayama who had looked like he was looking for someone. Tsukishima didn't care, when he arrived at the gym he went straight for the pile of towels and a water. The boy was panting with his hands on his knees as he waited outside the gymnasium, he looked around to see Nishnoya and Tanaka come back from their part of the run.

"Hinata got lost." Tanaka put simply.

Kageyama rolled his eyes, "of course he did, that idiot!" He grumbled angrily.

Tsukishima laughed, "Doesn't surprise me."

Nishinoya was panting when he realized now he had a chance. He had a chance to bother Tsukishima, "Nothing surprises you does it?" He asked, he made eye contact with Tanaka. Nishinoya had a devious look on his face as he quirked his eyebrow.

"Not really." Tsukishima responded, wiping his face with a towel.

Asahi approached the group, "Suga found Hinata, Daichi said we can make our way in the gym until then." Asahi looked at the boys, confused why Nishinoya looked so smug, but decided to ignore it as he made his way into the gym.

Nishinoya looked over at his tall friend, then back at Tanaka who was shaking his head furiously. He smirked approaching the blonde boy, "So what if I told you, that your little girlfriend Sonmi has something going on with our ace player?"

Tsukishima did not move, his towel stayed on his face as he paused in his movement, "What?"

"You heard me." Nishinoya loved to irk Tsukishima, he found it funny to be able to actually bother him about something, "Sonmi and Asahi? Totally a thing." He whispered in his ear.

Tsukishima moved away from Nishinoya, he walked back in the gym absolutely shell shocked. The boy looked over at Sonmi, as she was walking around the gym collecting balls from the floor. His eyes then wondered over to Asahi who was talking to Daichi on the other side of the gym. He couldn't put his finger on it, "Him and her?" Were his only thoughts in his head, "What was so special about him?" He found himself thinking, his eye twitched and his body became stiff, he could feel his blood run through his veins. His face flushed a dark red, he wanted nothing more than to slam his head into a brick wall and pass out, but why did he feel this way? He didn't care about the girl or what she persued in her free time.

"What were they talking about?" Yamaguchi asked his blonde headed friend, he could sense something was bothering Tsukishima just based on his body language.

He shook his head as he walked over to his gym bag, completely ignoring his green haired friends' question. Tsukishima knew he needed to cool off, he didn't wanna look at anyone, he didn't wanna talk to anyone, and he certainly did not wanna see his teammate with Sonmi. His hand grabbed his water bottle, quickly taking a swig of the water and slamming it back down on the bench. His eyes stared down at his bag, grinding his teeth, and breathing heavily. He felt someone behind him, he figured it was Yamaguchi, "Can you leave me alone?" He spoke harshly.

"Oh, I'm sorry." Spoke a feminine voice.

Tsukishima quickly turned around, he was faced with the one girl he did not wanna see, the one and only Jeon Sonmi. Her face had a look of disappointment and slight confusion at his angry tone, she took a slight step back from the boy as their eyes connected, "N-no i'm sorry. Didn't mean to snap at you." He quickly apologized, "Why did I do that?" He then thought to himself.

Sonmi stood in literal disbelief, "Did he just apologize to me?" She thought to herself, "It's okay?" She said in a confused tone, she quickly remembered why she approached the boy, "I just wanted to thank you for inviting me to these practices, they've been helping me out a lot."

"Yeah I'm sure they have been," Is what Tsukishima would've normally responded to the young girl, but he instead replied, "Oh, uh, no problem." Tsukishima couldn't keep contact with her now, he felt bad for snapping at the girl. His eyes fell to the floor, "I'm glad it's helping." He said once again.

Sonmi smiled at him, she knew something was obviously wrong with him, but she didn't wanna press it, he seemed to already be stressed out. Plus its not like she cared, nor it was any of her business, "Well thank you Tsukishima!" She exclaimed, lightly punching his arm hoping to get a slight reaction out of him.

Tsukishima looked at her once again, making eye contact with her bright green eyes, his heart felt like he was about to pass out. The sudden eye contact had felt like he had just been zapped like when you rub your socks on the carpet and touch someone. He could feel his face heat up, a small smile grew on his face. The two stood and stood at each other, Sonmi had definitely felt something too between them, but she would rather die than admit it.

"I told you there's definitely something there." Tanaka said elbowing Nishinoya.
