011, what's your problem?

o11. ⛅️🦢🏐 ↬ WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM !
— What's my problem, What's your problem !

A week had gone by since Sonmis' odd encounter with the Karasuno boys, specifically a week since Tsukishima comforted her after she was crying. The young girl had never experienced such an overwhelming time with a group of people, she found it best to lay off hanging around with them. Sonmi made it her mission to not speak to the members of the boys Karasuno volleyball team, she needed a well earned break after the struggle she had been through.

Today was a brand new day for the girl, a rather exciting one for Sonmi. Today was the spring sports assembly, where all teams would be able to have a say in front of the school. Sonmi was certainly the type to love attention, especially in front of large groups of people. She was sad she was not the one to speak in front of everyone, she prided herself in her great public speaking skills. The girl had made sure to look extra pretty today, for no other reason than the assembly. It certainly was not incase she saw a certain team of boys backstage. The small girl put on a small amount of makeup, and even clipped up her white strip of hair, in hopes to hide it. She had her long black hair half up and half down, and wore small white jewelry.

The backstage of their schools stage was cold and empty, there weren't many assemblies or prep rallies held here, so it felt abandoned. Sonmi stood proudly around her teammates, she quickly took note that she was probably amongst the shortest in her team. Sonmi stood between Nozomi Watabe, the teams liberio, and Chizuru Sasaki, another winged spiker on the team. Sonmi had not known much about either of the girls, just that they refuse to come to morning practice that Michimiya had told them about. The black haired girl rolled her eyes when she thought about the girls and their refusal for morning practice, they all knew their team sucked and they still refused to practice when the captain asked them too. But Sonmi wasn't gonna be one to start problems and call them out on it, she instead found a different way to practice outside of her teams practices, which ended up back firing on her, but at least she took the initiative to try.

Sonmi stood in line, calm and collected, until the next sport group was called. Instead of the Karasuno boys soccer team being in front of them, now the Karasunos boys volleyball team stood in her presence. The teams stood toe to toe, with the captains at the front of the lines, while the rest of the teams stood in their number orders.

And just by Sonmis' luck, there she stood in front of the boy she had been attempting to avoid.

There he was, Kei Tsukishima, the most confusing boy ever. Sonmi could use the whole dictionary to explain that boy. Tsukishima met Sonmi about a month ago, in which their first encountered included: Tsukishima insulting her to no end, Tsukishima slamming a ball into her face making her pass out, and even refusing to apologize to the girl. It was all up until a week ago, after the practice match against Nekoma, that Tsukishima started acting differently towards her. Sonmi walked home sad, only for Tsukishima to come and console her.

But why? Why the sudden change? Since when does he care? He never was nice, he was mean and cruel. He loved nothing more than to insult her and make her feel awful about herself. The one simple act of kindness set Sonmi off the edge, it sent her into a Tsukishima hate era. She wanted nothing to do with him or the team.

He stood beside his teammates, not making an effort to talk to any of them. He stood with his shoulders back, staring forward, no facial expression, which only angered Sonmi further. His hands were behind his back, and he would occasionally look side to side at his teammates to only give them a glare or a roll of his eyes.

Then, He looked in front of himself and made direct eye contact with her, smiling smugly at her.

Sonmis nostrils flared, she clenched her jaw when he smiled at her. She could feel herself clench her fist by her side, and her whole body tensed. She wanted nothing more than to slam his head through a wall. The thought of him in her mind, made her blood boil, and her face turn a bright shade of red. Every time he creeped up in her mind, she would mentally slap herself, telling herself he was nothing but an idiot, and a bad person. Sonmi had never encountered someone more infuriating. She grinded her teeth together at the sight of him, she had been avoiding him all this time, because every time she sees him this is exactly what happens. Sonmi will get so angry she has no control of her mind or body, all she wants to do is slap the smug look off his face and scream her head off at him. The girl was a ticking time bomb, just waiting to blow.

The eye contacted lasted for what felt like hours, until Watabe placed her palm on Sonmis' shoulder. The short girl looked up at her liberio, "We are next, just letting you know." She smiled.

Sonmi nodded, looking down at the floor, she then looked down and started to fix her outfit, making sure to appear her best. Then she heard a low laugh, she looked up to see Tsukishima staring down at her, "What?" She asked.

This caused a few members of each team to direct their attention towards the two, they all were confused as to why they were talking back stage.

"Nothing," Tsukishima said nonchalantly, "You just look funny, trying to look all good you know."

Those few words were enough to let Sonmis' anger be released, she opened her mouth to say something witty back until she was tugged at by her teammate. She looked over to see the girls were making their way on stage. Sonmi gave Tsukishima one last look before she walked off onto the stage.

Michimiya began her speech and all Sonmi could focus on was what Tsukishima had said to her.

What did he even mean? Why did he even say anything to me at all? After a week of not seeing me thats all he has to say to me? You look funny trying to look good? What does that even mean?

The girl hadn't even realized she had an angry glare on her face throughout the whole speech, until Saski elbowed her, "Stop looking so angry." She whispered, contenting to look forward.

Sonmi sighed, now forcing a smile on her face. She was even more angry that she let him get to her once again, this would be the last time she ever let Tsukishima get to her again.

The assembly finished soon after the girls speech, Sonmi began to make her way back to her classroom. The words of Tsukishima still rattled in her mind, she had never let someone bother her so much, but Tsukishima just strikes a nerve in her and she doesn't know how to explain it.

Tsukishima walked in the halls, he was looking for a certain middle blocker with a white strip of hair. He had been meaning to speak to her for a while now, but had clearly noticed she had even avoiding him. This bothered him, he had done nothing wrong, recently, at least. Tsukishima looked over the heads of many students, in attempts to try to find Sonmi, but failed.

That was until, Sonmi saw Tsukishima in the distance, the two made brief eye contact across the hall. This caused Sonmi to turn the opposite direction, trying to stay on her mission of avoiding the blonde boy.

Tsukishima noticed the girls sudden movement and began to walk past many students in hopes to catch up with her, "Sonmi!" He called out.

Sonmi ignored the shout, instead, now trying to make her way towards the gymnasium, hoping going outside would make the boy lose her.

Tsukishima was not too far behind the air, he could clearly tell she was trying to not talk to him, but why? Was it because of what he said backstage? What did he do? He wasn't sure, but he was sure about one thing, he was gonna find out why, "Sonmi!" He called out again.

Sonmi looked back only to realize that Tsukishima was not too far behind her, she opened the doors to the outside, moving as fast as she could, she didn't even care if she was late to her class now. All she wanted to do was avoid Tsukishima, at any cost.

Tsukishima noticed Sonmi took a sharp turn as soon as she made her way through the doors to the outside. He followed behind, only to be able to grab Sonmis wrist, "Hey." He said sternly, causing her to look back at him, a look of disgust was now on her face.

She swatted her hand away from his grip, giving him a rather angry look, "What do you want?" She spat.

"I wanted to see when you wanted to practice next. We have interhigh preliminaries coming up and I figured you'd need all the practice you can get."

Sonmi was even more angry after that comment, she scoffed, giving the boy an eyeroll.

Tsukishima raised an eyebrow at the girl, "What's your problem? You're not even responding to me. I called for you and you ignored me!"

"What's my problem? What's your problem?" Sonmi shouted, "You hate me one minute and insult me to no end, and then you're al buddy buddy, inviting me to training camps and comforting me when im crying? And not to mention the backstage thing, what did that even mean? You make no sense! Do you hate me? Do you like me? I don't get why you act so weird around me."

Tsukishima looked at the angry girl, "We already talked about this, and I apologized."

"But why? You clearly hate me, so why the sudden change? You're not one for being nice, so why? Just why?"

Tsukishima wasn't sure how to reply to her question, if he was being honest, he wasn't sure why he had been acting that way. He was never one to comfort someone, or ever apologize for insulting someone. He stood in front of Sonmi, speechless, once agin, "I-I don't know." He said, his face now turning a bright red.

Sonmi scoffed once again, "You're a real character Kei Tsukishima." She spoke, "I don't wanna see you or the rest of the team ever again, all you've brought is stress upon my life. I don't wanna practice with you anymore, I can do it on my own." Sonmi yelled as she clamped her fists at her side, storming off.

The blonde boy stood there, dumbfounded at what had happened.

Why hadn't I said anything? Why did I not know what to say? What is this girl doing to me?

Tsukishima stood alone, feeling a bit sad for himself. He never intended for this to happen, but he was surely upset it unfolded this way.
