"Mako" Takeru called out her name and he clenched his fist, as the female ranger was laying there unconscious.

"Mako-chan/Neesan/Mako!" Was heard from the others. Mako had took the shot for Takeru. She took it for him from that Gedoshuu.

The group quickly ran toward her and checked her condition.

"Mako-chan, wake up." Kotoha cried.

"Neesan!" Chiaki frantically yelled out her name.

"Mako." Ryunosuke and Genta kneeled down next to her. Takeru finally had the guts to walk over.

"Mako." he called out her name, looking at sleeping face. It show clear pain, but somehow she was still able to put on a smile.

The kuroko came and carried Mako back to the Shiba house. As the others, followed behind in silence.

Everything was quiet in the house. Kotoha was sitting with her head down, Chiaki tried to comfort her. While Ryunosuke and Genta sat there, not saying any words.

Takeru, was outside, practicing with his kendo stick. In his mind, he blamed himself for being to weak.

A few days had passed, Mako was still not awake. Although her injuries were fully heal, she was still sleeping. The others were worried, but most importantly was he fact Takeru stopped eating.

No matter how hard they tried to convince him, he was stubborn.

It was nighttime, Takeru sat down the porch watching the glimmering moonlight. "Mako." He muttered out the word.

"Yes?" He heard a soft reply, which startled him. He turned around, and saw Mako walking out.

"Mako. You--you're awake!" He said, with a relief, happy feeling.

Mako nodded, but she noticed Takeru pale face.
"Takeru, you haven't eat?" Mako asked in concern.

"You shouldn't be concern about me. How about you? You should rest." Takeru stated. Mako shook her head.

"The kuroko told me how long I was asleep. They also told me the fact you stop eating and rather starve." Mako simply answered.

"I...I'm sorry." Takeru apologized.

"It not your fault. If it wasn't for me, you wouldn't starve." Mako softly said, as she took a sit next to him.

"No... if it wasn't for me, you wouldn't get hurt. And..." Takeru was interrupted.

"Have you forgotten? For you, I'll endure pain." Mako whispered back.

"But I can't bare to see you in pain." He muttered back, which shocked Mako. Before she could say anything, he pulled her into a hug. They pulled out, as he continued, lean in and kissed her.

"I love you. And I would also endure pain for you" he whispered.
