The beginning. When they are both new to this ninja thing. When he is new to be her manager as she chased after her idol dream. When he started to discover he looked at her more than just a cousin. When he realized he cared deeply for her. 

Nagi warned himself many times not to be too expressive towards her. He was afraid that she was going to figure it out. He was afraid that she doesn't feel the same way. Most importantly, he was afraid that she was going distant from him if she figured it out. Being isolated from the person he cared for and loved is the most throbbing pain. 

He once saw signs of her looking at him. But he always doubted in those signs and his instinct that she might like him. He remembered, writing a secret letter to her, planning to give it to her on valentine's day. However, somehow that letter ended up in his drawers. Unfortunately, Kasumi discovered it while she was cleaning his room and confronted him. He was too scared and asked Kasumi to keep it a secret. Kasumi reluctantly agreed since she was able to convince to confess his feelings. 

Will he ever find the courage to tell her?

Fuuka reminded herself from times to times, that he only looked at her as a cousin. That he looked after her because it was his job, his duty, his role. She was in fear that one day he might leave her. She was in fear that he might not feel the same. She was in fear that she can no longer see him every day by her side. 

She remembered from times to times he showed signs that he also liked her. However, she always shrugged it aside with a repeated phrase, "He is doing his job". Nevertheless, it still makes her happy whenever he looked at her, cared for her, annoyed her with tons of unnecessary questions like "have you eaten?" She remembered her conversation with Kasumi, encouraging to take a step, to make a move. But she pleaded Kasumi that she will figure out a way. Finally, Kasumi sighed and let her have it her way. 

Will she able to escape from that bubble of her and realized the love he has for her?
