"Onegai!" Canalo clapped his hand together and begged the girl in front of him. 

"Umm...But..." the girl stammered as she eyed him. His eye looked up at her in desperation. 

She finally give in and sighed, "Just one hangout, okay?" 

"Hontou?" he looked up and asked her. She softly smiled and nodded. 

"It is an oath then"  Canalo stated. 

"Eh???? We don't need to go to that extend Canalo-san," she replied. 

"Oh. Sorry. I apologize for that declaration, Umika-san." he said. 

Umika slightly chuckled, "It's okay."

After the battle, they all went to Touma's restaurant and hosted a small party. Although Canalo was rejected earlier by Umika with the sudden confession, he decided to go for another try. But this time a more common approach like what Asuna suggested to him. 

"Ne, Umika-san, I want to ask..." Canalo looked at her, hesitation was displayed. 

"Hmmm...what is it?" Umika asked, sipping her drink. 

"Why did you decide to become a Kaitou?" Canalo questioned. Umika was surprised to hear the question but her expression soften. 

She turned and looked out the window, "It was to save my best friend. She was someone who risked her life to protect me." Umika murmured. 

"That's so chivalry of you," Canalo started getting emotional. 

"hehe...thanks." Umika blushed out of embarrassment. He's kinda weird, but he's not that bad. Umika stated in her mind. 

"So Umika-san, for the da--I mean hang out tomorrow. Where would you like to go?" Canalo asked as he sensed the atmosphere dying down. 

"Umm....I'm not sure...maybe we could to the amusement park? Have you been there before?" Umika suggested. Canalo shook his head. 

"But...don't you have to hide your identity? Is the amusement park too dangerous?" Canalo pointed out. 

"Iie. We should be fine." Umika said but she was feeling uncertain of it. 

"Umm...how about visiting a museum?" Canalo stated. 

"A museum?" Umika repeated. Canalo nodded. 

"A dinosaur museum. It should have fewer people there." Canalo explained. 

Oh...he thinking of my safety. That's sweet. Umika grinned "Sure then!" 

Yes! Canalo cheered in his mind. 

"Canalo-san, I'm gonna go get more juice. See you tomorrow!" Umika said, standing up and walking toward the juice table. 

"Ahh okay. I'll pick you up tomorrow. Right here?" Canalo asked uncertainly. 

"Sure. Here is fine." Umika chirped and walked away. 

She's so cute. Canalo stated in his mind. He couldn't wait for the hangout tomorrow. 

As for Umika, she grinned. He's quite interesting. 

But it is for certain that she also couldn't wait for the hangout tomorrow. 

Or should we say date?

Sorry for the short chapter! I'm trying to reduce the number of similar situations for AU couples. But I still hope you guys enjoy this moment of the two.
