"Here." Umika handed Keiichiro a record. 

"Arigato." Keiichiro stated. 

"You're welcome, and here's your coffee," Umika stated. 

"Oh by the way Umika, are you free tomorrow?" Keiichiro suddenly asked. 

"Eh? Why do you ask?" Umika nervously replied. 

How should I word it? I want to ask her about that Gangler attack...but I couldn't get her to be suspicious. Keiichiro thinks in his head. "I wanna pick out a gift and send it to Mana." he lied. 

"Ah---sure!" Umika smiled trying to cover up her nervousness. 

Keiichiro smiled and nodded. He stood up, grabbed his cup of coffee and the record then head out. "See you tomorrow!" 

"See ya." Umika waved back. 

"Oh my my my! Umika you're going on a date? Last time was with Sakuya, now is with K-man." Kairi teased. 

"Stop teasing." Umika fumed. 

"Just be careful...I think he might know something." Touma warned, who have been observing the situation. 

"Eh? He is being suspicious of me?" Umika asked worriedly. 

"Not certain--but still keep your guard up," Touma stated. Umika nodded. 

The next day

Keiichiro came and pick up Umika. and together they walked to the mall. There was an awkward conversation going on cause the two never really talked to each other before, like for a long time. 

"We're here," Umika stated as they headed in. 

"What do you want to get for Mana?" Umika asked. 

"Eh? Oh, I'm not sure...maybe a keychain or something..." Keiichiro explained, caught off-guard by the question. He forgot that he used that excuse to get her out. 

"Hmm...keychain...then I guess we can go in here." Umika pointed. Keiichiro followed her. 

"Neh Umika, is Mana your only friend?" Keiichiro asked. 

"Iie..I have one other very close one." Umika accidentally revealed while focusing on choosing the keychain. 

"Oh, so you still keep in contact?" Keiichiro asked. Umika paused, realizing she messed up. 

"Umm...yeh...but we are both busy so is been a while." Umika lied. Of course, Keiichiro could somewhat tell but he decided not to push. 

"Here's how about this keychain?" Umika handed him to change the topic. 

"Hmm...not too bad," Keiichiro stated, but his eyes set on another keychain, but it wasn't for Mana. 

He quickly went to grab the other one. 

"Do you prefer this one?" Umika asked a little disappointed. 

"Ah...no....I'm choosing this one for someone else," Keiichiro answered. 

"Oh." 

"I'll go pay for them," Keiichiro stated, taking the keychain from Umika's hand and walked to the counter. 

They both walked out after Keiichiro paid for the gift. As they walked, the mall played a song. Two of them were humming the song and was surprised that the other also knows it. 

"You know this song as well?" Umika asked. 

"One of my favorite," Keiichiro explained. 

"Mine too!" Umika exclaimed. Keiichiro finally decided to ask. 

"Neh, Umika. Where were you 4 days ago?" Keiichiro asked. 

"Eh...4 days ago? I was at---the Bistro." she lied. 

"Hmm...that's strange. Because when we were put in the dream world by the Gangler, us and the thieves. There were you in there too!" Keiichiro stated. He stopped in midway and turned at her. 

"Are you sure that you were not there?" he asked. 

"Well---I did run to find you that day to talk about Mana. But somehow I lost consciousness once I reached there...so I don't really remember much. When I woke up, I was back at the bistro." Umika lied. Keiichiro looked at her. 

"You were back at the bistro when you woke up?" Keiichiro asked worriedly. Umika nodded, trying not to raise any suspicion. 

"Well...at least you were safe. I was kinda worried." Keiichiro stated, trying to let Umika loosen herself seeing she was so tense. 

"Sorry...I didn't mean to make you worry." Umika apologized. 

Keiichiro shook his head, "Iie. It's my duty to keep every citizen safe...Every citizen including you." 

Umika blushed at the word. Keiichiro cleared his throat. 

"How about we get some ice cream before heading back? Would you---like-so--some ice cream?" he stuttered. Umika chuckled but nodded. 

"Sure why not."
