They had begun dating not long ago after Hammy's teacher was safe. Hammy was very happy when she discovered that her feelings and his were mutual. But she was afraid of losing him. Maybe it was due to her childhood trauma of fleeing her own home.

It was the day of their anniversary. The day that he finally asked her out. 

But Hammy always had this secret, more like fear hidden deep within inside her. Although she tried to ignore it, it is growing every day. 

It like every night this nightmare will haunt her down, causing her lack of sleep. Luckily, she had Lucky by her side to take care of her. 

One day. On this day. Of their 4th anniversary being together. She finally took the courage to asked him. 

"Neh Lucky, what do you think will happen in the future?" she turned around and asked her boyfriend, who is eating his cake. Will you ever leave me? 

She was staring at the sea for a long time, wondering how to ask him. Finally, she took the courage to blurt out this disturbing topic. 

"What do you mean?" he asked, looking at her. Is that what bothering you lately?

He frowned at the question. He knew she had been having some sort of isonomia. He wished she would tell him what was bothering her. And it seem like she finally decided to let it out. 

"I mean...do you think we will have a happy ending?" Hammy stated, avoiding making eye contact with Lucky. Lucky let out a small sigh. 

So this is what bothers her. I guess her fear of losing someone was the cause. He stated in his mind.

Lucky put his plate of cake down and answered her seriously. "I don't know about others. But I'm sure that we definitely have a happy ending." he grinned at her like always. We will never lose each other. Never.

"How are you so sure?" Hammy asked, staring straight into his eyes. How are you so certain that we might not lose each other?  was what she wanting to ask. 

"because I'm Lucky, aren't I?" he joked. She let out a small chuckle. Baka, I know you're Lucky. 

He then slowly reached out for her hand. "We've been together through many situations. I'm sure that will all sum up, Hammy." That's no matter what happens, I will never leave your side. was his hidden message. 

He squeezes her hand. "Beside...I have faith in us. We can overcome anything." he told her seriously. I am willing to do anything so nothing can pull us apart. 

Hammy blushed. "Lucky---" I am, too, willing to do anything so nothing can pull us apart. 

"So cheer up, okay," he told her, pinching her cheek. Stop being so depressed. 

"Ouchh!----I get it...Let's go please." she pouted, rubbing her cheek when he finally let it go. You're taking the sofa tonight.

Lucky smiled at her. "Let's go then. Didn't you want to eat at Spada's restaurant tonight? I've already made a reservation." Does this make it up for that?

"Hontou?" Hammy asked excitedly. Fine, you're forgiven. 

"Of course! let's go!" Lucky said as he pulled Hammy and together they walked to their car.
