The bistro's door opened and the bell rang. Umika came running out. 

"Welcome to the bistro," she stated. 

"Uh." came the reply. Umika looked up and saw a handsome looking man, wearing a blue with orange shoulder patch jacket. She recognized his face, a Kyuranger?  

"Table for one please," he stated and Umika quickly snapped out of her thought. 

"Hai. This way." Umika guided Stinger. Phew, that was close. He could not be suspicious of me. Umika reminded herself. 

"What could I get for you today?" Umika asked, handing him the menu. 

"What do you recommend? I prefer something sweet," Stinger stated, looking up at her. She looks familiar. He wondered in his mind. 

"Oooh, we currently Sweet Apple Pie. It is freshly baked and it is also one of the bistro's secret recipes," Umika recommended and pointed to the picture.  

"Hmm. Okay. Get me one of that." Stinger stated. 

"Right away," Umika said. She walked away, punching in the order, and came back with a cup of water. 

"Here you go," Umika said. Stinger nodded and scanned around the bistro. 

"You don't have many customers." Stinger commented. 

"Oh. It is because you're early. Usually, the lunch rush will come about in 2 hours." Umika explained. Stinger just nodded. 

What a jerk. Umika stated in her mind. She was annoyed about the comment he threw at the bistro but once again who could blame him. 

"Are you the only employee?" Stinger asked. 

"Iie. Our chef, Touma is in there preparing for the lunch rush, checking the ingredients and stuff. And there's one more but he's currently escaping his duty." Umika stated, accidentally raises her tone as she was annoyed that Kairi, once again, escaped. 

Stinger looked at her. She immediately looked and blushed, "Gomen for my tone." 

"It's fine," Stinger said. The bell was heard and Umika rushed to the kitchen. She brought out his order. 

"Here's your Sweet Apple Pie. Enjoy." Umika stated and was about to walk away. 

"Do you mind staying for a bit?" Stinger asked, which surprised her. 

"Hai. If you ask." Umika nodded, pulling a nearby chair and sat down. 

Stinger started biting in his pie. His eyes opened wide. "It's so good." He murmured. Umika couldn't help but smile at the comment. Stinger noticed her smile and she quickly looked away. 

"You look cute when you smile," he said. 

Eh? Umika was shocked to hear that.  

"Excuse me." he coughed. Umika shook her head. 

"Iie. It was a bit unexpected. Arigato," she replied, smiling radiantly. 

"I wanted to ask...have I seen you somewhere?" he asked. 

Shoot...What should I say....Umika looking to the side, thinking of ways to answer him. 

"I don't think so. I believe it the first time we ever meet." she lied. Stinger sensed it, of course, but decided to let it slide. 

"Oh. Cause you remind me of a certain person. I think it was the famous Lupin thief, Lupin Yellow." He let it slipped out to test her. Umika started to sweat a bit. 

"Really? I hope not or else the police would be mistaken..." She giggled awkwardly but she could feel Stinger's eyes staring at her. 

"By the way, if you don't mind me asking, you don't look like a person who would order sweet. No offenses." Umika questioned, trying to stir away from the topic. 

"Oh no, it okay. It just reminds me of a song." Stinger stated. 

"A song?" Umika asked. 

"Yeah. The song talked endless love." Stinger explained. Umika nodded. 

"And how does it related to the apple?" Umika asked. Stinger wiped his mouth as he finished his last piece and gulped down some water. 

"You'll know when you hear it." Stinger said, "Perhaps some other time when I'm free again I show you." 

Is he asking for a date? Umika blushed at the thought. 

"That would be great!" she chirped. 

"Can I have my bill?" he asked. 

"Just a minute," Umika stated, rushing back to the register and came back with the receipt. 

"I haven't asked it yet. What's your name?" Stinger asked her. 

"Umika. You can call me Umika," she replied. "Yours?"

"Stinger," he stated. 

"Well Stinger-san, thank you for coming here. Hope to see you again." Umika smiled and bowed after receiving his money. 

"It's good to see you too, Umika-san. Til' next time." he waved, walking out. 

I hope that next time comes soon. Both stated in their mind as Stinger parted away.
