"What do you mean he is missing?" Sakura asked in a panic, rising from her hospital bed. 

"Sakura-san matte, you're still weak." Natsuki scolded and tried to get Sakura to lie back down. 

Sakura winced at her injury but didn't bear anything in mind. She thanked Natsuki and tried to find a comfortable sitting position as her back lay towards the pillow. 

"After the explosion, we only find you lying outside the spaceship. We didn't see any sign of Captain." Souta explained, not daring to look at Sakura's eyes. 

"Makino-sensei is trying his best to detect any signal Akashi might leave, so don't worry, Sakura-nee." Masumi tried to ease Sakura. She just sighed and nodded. She trusts her teammates. 

"Why don't you have a cabbage while at it first?" Eiji offered, which received a knock from Natsuki. 

"She just woke up. Apple is better." Natsuki stated. 

"You didn't have to hit that hard, though." Eiji pouted, rubbing his head. Everyone laughed. It was like deja vu. It has been a long time since they last hung out like this. Since Akashi and Sakura always spent most of their time in space, exploring new Precious, they rarely got time to meet each other. 

But due to being far away from Earth, Sakura and Akashi grew closer than ever. It was already a great sign since Sakura started to call Akashi as Satoru. 

Sakura stared at the window outside, Where are you, Satoru-san?

Months later....

As if all hopes were soon to dwindle to dust, the group finally got a signal of Akashi's location thanks to Zuban and Makino sensei. 

They quickly head out with Masumi in the lead. 

"Man, if I meet Akashi, I punch him in the stomach for making us worry," Masumi stated as they hiked up a familiar mountain. 

"Same! Sakura-san, you should punch him harder than last time." Natsuki stated. Sakura just chuckled, trying to hide her worry. 

Souta placed a hand on her shoulder, "Don't worry, we'll find him." sending her the signature reassuring smile of Souta. The group did the same, and she smiled back. 

"Let's get going then," Eiji stated. 

Soon they met up and saw Akashi with a certain figure, dressed up in a red coat. 

"Stop right there!" Masumi shouted. The figure and Akashi turned to look at them. 

"Minna..." Akashi said in surprise. 

"Who are you? Why did you kidnap Akashi?" Masumi stated, raising the Zuban sword at the figure. The figure just smirked. 

"Are those your teammates?" he turned and asked Akashi. 

"Yeh, they are my comrades and best partners." Akashi sighed, turning to his friends as they waited for his explanations. 

"Look minna, this is Captain Marvelous," Akashi explained. 

The group still on full defense. "We were just trying to search for a New Precious." Akashi explained. 

"New Precious?" Eiji asked. Akashi nodded and proceeded to put out a full explanation. 

He earned a punch from none other than Sakura as soon as he finished. Captain Marvelous stepped back, sensing the threatening aura that matched Ahim. 

"Gomen." was all the Akashi could murmur, hugging his stomach. 

"Hpmhfff...that's what you get for disappearing for months without even contacting me. Did you know how worried I was?" she stated, as cold as her usual composure. 

"I was about to....but this Precious will relocate itself if there are advances technology signal interference," Akashi stated, still hugging his stomach. 

"Hontou ni gomen." was all he could say, looking at Sakura. Sakura tried to calm herself down and turned elsewhere, but he held her back. 

"I mean it. I'm sorry that I worry you. But I knew you'd be safe with the others, so I didn't reach out. I knew I should have. I promise I won't do it again next time." Akashi stated. 

Behind him, the others tried to hold in their laughter as their usual cool and unafraid former Captain poured his heart out to apologize to Sakura. 

Marvelous tried to keep his cold composure as well. 

Sakura looked into Akashi's eyes. She could sense his sincerity before sighing and giving in. 

"I'm just glad you're okay," she stated. He hugged her, earning a gasp from his fellow comrades. 

"Arigato," he stated. 

She just smiled, happy that Akashi was safe and sound. 

They broke the hug as she pushed him towards Marvelous, surprising himself and the others. 

"Go get that, Precious. We'll stay here as we carry things that might disrupt your plan," she stated. Akashi took one last glance at her before stepping towards Marvelous. 

"I'll be back." he mouthed to her. She sent him her infamous smile.

"I'll wait for you. Stay safe, Satoru." she mouthed back. He smiled and did his signature "Attack" movement before heading further in with Marvelous. 

"Let's go then," she turned towards the others as they headed back to the vehicle, teasing her on the way back.

Although I no longer ship Akashi and Sakura, I still think they are cute together. Since it has been a while since I've watched Boukenger, I apologize if some of them might be OC. I hope everyone still enjoyed it!
