"Do you wanna play?" Chiaki asked her one night when they were watching the star.

She looked to her side, uncertainly. 

"Come on, give it a try," he stated, shoving the remote in her hand. 

"Hey! Hey! Hey! Get your hand off hime-sama! You are still a vassal no matter what!" the man in the brown yukata walked over to Chiaki. 

"Silent, Tanba!" the girl scolded. 

"Hai, Hime-sama." the man was silent and backed off with Hikoma pulling him to the side. 

"Geez...he never changed." Chiaki sighed, rubbing the back of his head. 

"I apologize for his action," she told him. 

"It's fine, Hime-san." Chiaki told her. 

"Kaoru." 

"Eh?" Chiaki looked at her. 

"You can call me by my name. I'm fine with that." She didn't look in his eyes. 

"Kaoru then." Chiaki smiled back and she smiled at him. 

But then she shoved back the remote controller to his hand. 

He refused. 

"You should give it a try!" he told her. 

"But I never play it before." Kaoru finally confessed. Chiaki looked at her and his eyes softened. 

Oh. That's right. She has been trained so hard since she was a kid. He stated in his head. 

Kaoru felt a presence next to her, she turned and looked to her side. Chiaki already sat down by her and smiled. 

"I'll show then. I'm sure you will know how to play it soon" He said, turning on the device. 

She felt relief that he was not teasing her for not knowing how to play and was surprised that he was willing to teach her. 

"Here...so you begin like this..." Chiaki began explaining and Kaoru leaned in closer. 

She nodded her head as he continued his explanations. 

"Ahh..." 

"Ahh..okay..." 

"For this move, you pressed these two buttons"

"Oh. That's nice." 

Soon Kaoru began picking up the pace and Chiaki let her play one round. 

"Yes! hIt him!" she shouted, immersed in the game itself. 

Chiaki chuckled seeing her excitement. Kaoru was too focused that she didn't notice Chiaki was staring at her. 

"I won!" she cheered after the 1st round. 

"Congrats! " Chiaki smiled back and raised his hand up. Kaoru looked at him confused. He just grabbed her hand and high-fived. 

"That's how we usually celebrate," Chiaki explained. She nodded. 

"Now then...." 

Kaoru turned to look. 

"You want to try battling me?" Chiaki smirked, pulling out another controller. 

Kaoru smirked back, "Prepare to get your ass kicked!" 

"Wow--Wow---that's some language I didn't you have, hime-sama." Chiaki teased back. 

"Don't be crying if you lose, vassal," Kaoru stated back and pressed start.

"You're on!" Chiaki shouted back.
