AU 

"Sena Hayami! Why are you all wet?" The homeroom teacher scolded her. She let out a loud sneeze, causing the whole class to laugh. 

Sena hid her face and answered, "Gomen, sensei. I fell into the pool during lunch." 

"Then you should have changed your clothes. Don't you have any extra pair of clothes?" He asked. 

"I only have the dirty P.E outfit." She replied, keeping her face down. She could hear snickered behind her. 

Just swallow it all in Sena. She told herself. The teacher just sighed and continued with lessons. 

Flashback

"Hey give that back to me!" Sena demanded. The other girl had grabbed her gift sent from her friends in England. 

"Why do such a poor girl like you have this expensive purse? Did you steal it?" the mean girl stated and her friends laughed. 

"My foreign friend sent it to me." Sena answered, "Now give it back!" She tried to reach her hand out. 

The mean girl purposely let it go in the pool water. 

"Oops. Sorry, my hand slipped." she snickered. Sena glared at her and just jumped in the pool to get it. 

"Oh wow, look at her. Acting all and mighty because of her limited edition purse." the mean girl commented and the rest of the girls laughed. Before she could throw any more mean comments, the bell signaled the end of lunch. 

"Have fun, swimming." the mean girl mocked Sena. 

End of flashback

Unknown to her, a pair of eyes looked at her with concern as he could see her shivering. Soon school ended, but a harsh rain started to pour down. 

Sena checked her bag. "Are you kidding me?" She said. Sena realized she forgot to shove her umbrella in her bag this morning. She looked at the sky, the rain still poured harsh. 

I guess I just have to wait. "Achoo!" She sneezed. Suddenly she felt a jacket place over her. She looked to her side. 

"Kaito-san?" She asked. He smiled at her. "Come on, I can walk you home." 

He opened his umbrella. 

"No, it's okay Kaito-san. I can wait for the rain to end," she said. But he ignored her and grabbed her wrist. 

He put his arm around her and pulled her in closer so she won't get wet. Sena blushed at the contact but try to remain calm. 

"I'm sorry." He told her. 

"Eh?" She asked. "For what?"

"For my cousin's action. I should have stopped her." Kaito stated. 

"None of it is your fault, Kaito-san. Minami-san is just like that." Sena explained. 

"Well still. It was wrong of her to act immaturely toward you. Just because she is jealous." Kaito explained. 

"Jealous? How come?" Sena asked in confusion. 

"Because she wanted to join the track team. But you beat her to it. Not to mention, you became the ace of the team. That pissed her off more." Kaito stated. 

Sena was just stunned at the fact she just received. Just then, she felt Kaito hold her hand up and grab the umbrella in his place. 

"Kaito-san?" Sena asked. Kaito stopped glancing from afar and looked back at her. 

"Sorry, Sena-chan. I just realized I have something to do. You get home safe." Just like that, he ran out of the umbrella, under the rain to the car parked on the opposite side of the street. 

Sena looked worried, but she continued to walk home with his umbrella.

At night...

Sena lay on her bed and took her phone to message Kaito. But she noticed Kaito already sent a message a few minutes ago.

Did you get home safely Sena-chan? Remember to drink a lot of warm water so you won't catch a cold. 

She smiled warmly at the message and texted him back. 

Yes, I got home safely. Thanks for the umbrella. I'll give it back to you tomorrow at school. How about you? Did you get home safely?

A few minutes later Kaito replied. 

Yes, I did as well. And it's okay. You can keep that umbrella. I don't mind. 

Sena smiled and closed her phone. She yawned and lay her head on the soft pillow. Soon she drifted to wonderland, without realizing another message had been sent to her phone. 

Are you still there? 

I guess you're asleep.
