FIVE YEARS (PART FOUR)
Gina was listening intently just outside of the room the boys were in, staring blankly at a wall opposite of her.
Except Edmund. Edmund was pacing back and forth in front of her.
Gina was currently sharpening a stick with a small but very sharp knife to take out her stress on something. Edmund gave then to her so Gina wouldn't hurt herself.
But of course, anything that she touches breaks when she's in the right mood.
The stick became shorter and shorter as she became more and more frustrated with what was happening in the room. Michael would not listen.
Edmund stopped to look at her for a moment.
He noticed that the stick was becoming too short to sharpen. And he noticed that Gina's knife moved faster and faster, and her face became angrier and angrier after every second that passed.
Edmund couldn't hear anything, only muffled voices. Which is why he was more anxious than angry.
He couldn't say anything to her though. He's tried to stop her once in this state before, but she can't hear anything other than what she is now.
Then he watched as her knife slipped and cut the side of her hand open.
"That's it," Gina hissed.
She stood up suddenly, throwing the stump of wood (but keeping the knife) and stomped over to the room, her whole demeanor screaming she was angry.
Edmund tried to stop her and chased after her, but it was too late.
She burst into the room and looked straight at Michael.
He was tied into a chair. Guards from both Narnia and Anvard, the two kings and Theo were surrounding him.
The whole room went silent at the sight of the small woman.
Ever so slowly, she walked over to Michael and looked at him straight in the eyes.
Peter sighed deeply, pinching the bridge of his nose.
To be honest, he was slightly annoyed. She was not following the plan, but Peter knew that she had something better (and maybe even more harsh) in mind.
Theo was completely terrified. Gina was in danger, and was about to step in when Peter stopped him.
Theo looked at him confused. Peter shook his head slightly.
"Watch," he whispered towards Theo.
Everyone watched intently at the small woman and the man tied up in the chair.
All of them knew better than to interfere, but they still kept their hands on the hilts of their swords.
She quickly cut away the ropes and glares at him once more.
Michael was expressionless.
"Stand up, Michael."
Michael just stared back and smirked slightly.
"I said stand up."
With a little more fear, he stood up. His dark eyes skimmed ever so slowly over Gina from top to bottom.
"This is ridiculous," Michael laughed, "this is who my son wants to marry?! This...puny little excuse of a woman?! What are you gonna do, little girl?"
Gina screamed and pushed him to the ground with all of her might.
Shocked, Michael fell to the floor.
Hard.
The crowd flinched and gasped, exchanging whispers in between each other. But when Gina quickly reached over and snatched a sword from one of the faun's hilts, they became even more alarmed. That same faun was a bit scared of taking the sword back.
But everything became tense and silent when Gina held it up above Michael.
Michael groaned and lifted his head, his chin resting on his chest.
"From this moment on," she hissed, "you leave Theodore, myself and my children alone. Your story will never be mentioned in my family because of your actions, and you will be forgotten about in the generations to come! I never ever want to see your face again! Is that understood?!"
With fear starting to rise in his heart, Michael played it off and scoffed at her.
"Say it," Gina sneered.
"Screw you," Michael replied.
Gina screamed again, this time stabbing the floor.
Right in between his legs.
Now Michael was really scared.
No one has ever seen Gina like this before.
"SAY IT!"
"I understand," Michael muttered.
Gina ripped away the sword from the wood floor and held it up again.
"Louder!" Gina yelled.
"I underst-"
"LOUDER!"
"I UNDERSTAND!"
Michael was breathing erratically out of fear, and Gina was breathing a bit too hard.
She stood up straight again and dropped the sword. The clanging sound of it dropping on the floor made Michael twitch.
With her eyes still glaring into his, she waved her hand dismissively.
"Get him out of here." She demanded.
A few guards from Archenland shook themselves out of their stupor and dragged a shaking Michael out of the room.
Gina kept her glaring eyes on the man up until he was completely out of her sight.
Then she turned to face the rest of them.
Every single one of the men stared at her in complete disbelief.
"What?" Gina scoffed, jutting her hip out, "He wasn't going to stop by sweet-talking."
Theo had a stupid and crooked smile on his face. He looked like he was on Cloud Nine as he stared at her.
Gina looked down at her hand, now covered in dried blood.
"And anyway," Gina huffed while looking up at Edmund, "I think training with Edmund here came in handy after all. That sword was a little heavy."
She turned and sauntered out of the room.
"She's awesome," Theo sighed.
Peter looked at Theo and rolled his eyes.
"Well," King Lune bellowed, "Theo, my boy, you won't have to worry about him any longer. I believe she did the trick."
Theo still has the stupid look on his face. He was smiling like an idiot. And he didn't really hear what the king told him just now.
"Yeah yeah...sure..." Theo muttered.
The faun, now a whole lot more relaxed, picked up his sword and patted Theo on the back.
"Good luck, my dear friend. She's a feisty one," he chuckled.
"Uh-huh," Theo sighed.
"Oh, you have no idea," Edmund chuckled.
"Right then," Peter called out as he shuffled, "I say the job is done here. We will be taking our leave now, Your Majesty. There are still a lot of things we must get ready in time for the wedding."
All of them said their goodbyes, but of course, Theo seemed to still be lost in space.
"Come on, Theo," Peter groaned, nudging him towards the door.
"Hm? O-Oh! S-Sorry..."
Theo shook himself and scratched his neck. They made their way out the door to take their leave back to Narnia.
Theo stopped for a moment...
"Wait," he muttered, "did she say...children?!"
