I was out playing and my friend Kim was already getting dressed for PE. They'd left, already dressed, but when I opened the locker I couldn't find the shoes. I couldn't find Kim so I went back to our main school building and headed to the library. 

I asked the library helper, who used to be my PE teacher, what I should do. He told me I should look for them again or use the vending machine (shoe vending machine? Idk. Something like that. Idk lol). 

In the end I couldn't find them so I had to go on a quest to find them.

(Can't tell if this was a separate dream or just a big turn of events)

I entered the ruins of an abandoned building. Dirt littered the place and the cobblestone lay in crumbled messes near the collapsed walls. 

We passed through what used to be a wall, now just a destroyed arch. Darkness shrouded the ruined room, yet the bars of a prison cell were visible.

Men, three of them, sat on a rock inside the cell. We, me and some others, unlocked the cell with a key, freeing them. They were each our dads. 

We got to an airport, and there my mom that we'd just saved (yes, it changed to my mom somehow) was supposed to meet us, her family. She didn't know yet that I was her daughter.

I told her to wait there. I walked away bringing with me my dad and my brother.

Her brows scrunched up, confused and irritated. "What the—"

Her brows loosened up, eyes widening.

Tears welled up in my eyes, not able to control myself as I ran up to her and threw my arms around her. She hugged me back as the rest of the family neared us.

Ok, this dream was very random. Don't get what happened lol or how forgotten shoes turned to saving captives from ruins. 

Anyway, I know I haven't been posting much. Some dreams just simply are too short or basic for me to bother to care about writing. I have some more interesting ones in my dream journal that I got for Christmas, so you might see another update at some point.
