Aliana Rose had no knowledge from her childhood, in fact all memories of her childhood had been beaten out of her. She had no memories apart from her adoptive parents calling her a mistake, and that she should never have been born. 

When Aliana was seventeen, she ran away from her abusive adoptive parents and their children. With a promise to find her biological parents, she has to hide from her abusive adoptive parents with little success. Every time she got settled, they found her causing her to run again without turning back to survey the damage they caused. 

And no matter how many times she said she was sorry, it never changed that fact that she could never be loved, because all she caused was pain.

hi! welcome back to the new improved version of open flame, this time around; the story is going to be thoroughly edited, and more of a slow burn between Cody and Aliana! There will be tension between the two because of the way they met, but there will be more scenes than the original story.
