"Rei, we've been camping out here a long time and I have this map... What do you think of finding a village to call home?" I ask slowly, looking at her.

"That sounds perfect, it's been kinda cold out lately at night anyway." She agreed with a smile on her slightly pale face.

"Ok, lets start fresh tomorrow. Let's start gathering our supplies and get some rest." I smile, I could not wait to start a new life with my best friend, and only.

We had been camping in the same clearing of the Ru'aun forest for a few weeks now, and I was tired of it. It was time for a real home, where it wouldn't be just us. Maybe we could find love, and laughter, and animals in the villages we look at. We'd finally have friends too, we won't be alone any longer. A Lord to serve, friends to laugh with, adventures together, nothing to worry about. Things will be normal, and no way I'll ever see that horrible (I'm sorry for Zane lovers!!) Zane ever again, to ruin me.

~~Time Skip to morning~~

I wake up, to darkness around me. I yawn and stretch with an excited smile, remembering our new life started today. I turn to my side and see that Rei is sound asleep, and I get up without disturbing her. I walk around to prepare for the day, also doing some stretches I knew from when I once lived in a village. Then a memory of my past life worked its way into my head, and I took a breath, breathing it out and continuing.

Once I finished stretching and changing my clothes for the day, I grab some fruits from my bag and sigh. There wasn't enough for both breakfast and lunch, we'd have to take small bites, or eat nothing for a while. I choose small bites, and set aside her part as I wait. I pulled out my cracked green leather journal which I had forgotten to write in yesterday. Oh well, today's my chance.

Day 43,

We've decided to leave the forest in search for a proper home, a village. I have been waiting for this a while now, and I'm going to make sure I never see Z A N E ever again. Score for me! But anyway, I'm so excited I almost can't think straight. Or is that my nervousness? Who knows? Oh well, at least we get to sleep a bed instead of stupid hard forest floor where twigs and whatever scratches at my face. Hahaha, but really, it hurts and is very annoying. I guess I will continue this once we get new scenery, and I can describe our journey and what exactly happened and the scenes we were in. Be ready for another part of this!! -Olivia W.

"Writing again, are you?" A sleepy Rei asked, as she rubbed her left eye.

I smile, "Of course. I want us to be remembered, and remember our journey too."

She just smiled back and consumed her bit of fruit. I could not wait, as I got up and paced around a tree and watched the birds.

"You're going to walk right into that tree again, then you'll wish you didn't do that." Rei laughs, as she gets her stuff prepared.

I ignore her, and continue in circles as I fight off a laugh. Who knew we'd be this close as friends? There was so much we knew about each other we may be sisters. But, there were the things I've never ever once mentioned, and I will NOT even think them. If I did, I'm sure I'd break down here and now, and that's not something I want.

I hear her getting the last of her small amount of things, and walk back to get mine. She'd done me a favour, putting my last few things in my backpack. I hugged her and got everything I needed, and as I did, I slowly took a last glance around and stood. I won't be seeing here in a long time like I would never see-- Stop. I told myself. I had to forget that, it would cause me to stop everything and Rei would worry. I didn't want to worry her, I'm sure she's had some worrying before and didn't need it again.

I took a deep breath, and looked at Rei. She nodded and I unfolded the map, which I always carried. I heard Rei walk over next to me, and felt her breaths on my shoulder yet I ignored it.

"Lets try there. Meteli, it sounds like a good place to be." I suggest, pointing at it.

She nodded in agreement and we each got on our already saddled up horses. My horses name was Star since I had found him after a storm, and he had been hurt by lightening and I came to his rescue. Rei's horses name was Angel, since she was a pure white horse.

I smiled at her, and she returned it as we started our adventure. I led the way, with my map in my hand while in my other hand I held onto Star's reins to help guide him. I made sure to look at the thin map to keep in the direction we needed to go in. The sun made it really warm, and I took off my jacket so I wouldn't get too hot and uncomfortable for the journey.

I was in O'khasis helping Zane, and the citizens around in the large village. I was only 11 but yet I did trading, and so many things normal people wouldn't do at this age.

"Olivia! Stop dawdling! Get to work, unless you enjoy being punished." I heard the all too familiar man say, Zane.

"Yes Zane, sorry sir. I didn't mean to!" My childlike voice immediately replies, fear taking over and making me run to my next job.

I scurried through people to the opposite side of the village to get bread, milk, and gold for the Ro'meaves. I was just about 3 years younger than Zane, and yet I was a servant to him, more like SLAVE. Why was he treating me like this? Why do I have this life? Those questions always stumped me. I--

~*~flashback ends~*~

I shook my head, forcing myself to forget what happened to me. I was stronger now, and would never ever see him again. Plus I had my Magicks and sword, and Rei, to help me now. I wouldn't run next time. 'Next time, no. There won't be a next time!' I thought to myself, nodding and looking up.
