Fixated eyes 

Each day I walk the same path,

hoping to catch a glimpse of her.

she lightens up my day,

without even saying a word.

I wonder what she sees,

as she stands there fixated.

Some days I think she sees me,

or maybe I'm just dreaming.

Each day I walk the same path,

I notice something new about her,

the way her hair curls at the ends,

her silhouette swaying side to side,

I have even noticed,

her increase in height.

Each day I walk the same path,

hoping to catch a glimpse of her,

but today was different,

the sun lit up her whole bedroom,

showing me her entire being,

she was staring out the window,

eyes fixated on me.
