in this world, pretty hurts
but tear away and shred off
all the flesh and all the bones
and when it's nothing but the souls alone
you'll find beauty in immeasurable loads

in this world, being pretty counts
if only they'd tear all the flesh and bone down
we'd bare our souls to the naked eye
and remember how stars are brought to life
we'd find love in its truest kind
