(12) STUCK IN BETWEEN
Interconnection! We can give any certain opinion on this particular phenomenon. Interconnection considers as a good one if it's a harmonious link of good causes which serve life, but it becomes a burden once it starts to makes things messed up. A same kind of strangled interconnection had been framed to challenge Subhadra about which she was somehow aware of.
Training of Abhimanyu and his brothers was going all fine. Along with warfare they were learning prominent disciplines like politics, economics, medicine, administration, ethics, philosophy and literature. All of them had found their interest among these subjects except Prativindhya.
The reason was he was stuck in between his interest and incident which led his family to the current situation in which they were. Though Subhadra knew about his heart she allowed him some alone time for self analysis before approaching him.
When Subhadra was taking a stroll in garden thinking about Prativindhya an affectionate voice rang in her ear.
"Gudiya, I don't like this," Dau marched towards her with a disappointed face.
"What happened, Dau? What are you talking about?" Subhadrs was confused in figuring out the facial expression of dau.
"I don't like you strolling in stress. I love your cheerful smile moving briskly on your face bringing the bliss of life to me," Wrapping his arm around her shoulder he led her towards a swing.
"I know about your this choice. That's why I never allow stress around me for much time," She smiled stating the genuine fact about herself.
"I appreciate this, Gudiya. I know you are worried about Prativindhya. He had been missing the classes of ethics and philosophy which were supposed be his liked subjects. That's the reason, right?" He discussed about the insistence of her worry.
"You are right, Dau. Bharta Yudhishthir's role in dice game had bewildered Prativindhya," She sighed imagining the suffering of Prativindhya's young heart.
"I had talked to him, and he told that he wanted some time for himself," He shared the news in hope of easing some portions of her worry.
"That I knew. I too didn't approach him regarding this matter, but now it's time," She was sounding determined about her next action.
"I know you will succeed even though the matter is complicated. I trust your care. I can join you anytime if I feel like you need my assistance," He caressed her curls running his affectionate fingers on those.
"You will join me in convincing Prativindhya!" She exclaimed remembering how dau had suffered due to her stubbornness in childhood.
"Why can't I? Except you and Kanha none has the dare to disobey me in this world," He beamed with dramatic happiness making her laugh which was his actual intention.
He too joined her, and discussing about the memories of her childhood the duo enjoyed some quality time.
Next morning Subhadra was waiting for Prativindhya after his practice. She sat on the bench of garden on which he used to sit for sometime after his practice.
"Greetings, Choti maa!" Prativindhya folded hands in respect.
"How was your practice, Prati? Which class do you have today?" She gestured him to take his seat beside her.
"My practice was fine, Choti maa. Today I am free till afternoon," He uttered the last line in a low voice.
"Aren't you supposed to attend classes of ethics and philosophy?" She asked.
"I am unable to make a decision in this case. Learning should start with a healthy mind but I am still confused about interconnection of ethics and philosophy," He expressed his state taking the first step towards solution.
"Whatever my pitashri had done in dice game was unethical in general sense, but that was right according to his philosophy. Which one has to be accepted right in this case, ethics or philosophy from his point of view?" His words lost stability while asking the question.
"I know you are here to talk with me, but can I get some more time, please?" Before Subhadra could say something Prativindhya's request made her silent.
Forcing him into a discussion was of no use. Considering the fact she nodded at him positively.
