Dream:

Buster was in line again with dark figures in front of him and behind him. He had no idea who those people were around him as he glanced ahead of him to see what he's in line for. It's a dark abandoned house that had burnt spots covering the wood. The line moved forward faster than usual as he entered the dark burnt house. He glanced around to see items such as counters, kitchen sinks, and a crib floating in the air. There were no strings attached to the furniture, which earned a brow raised from the koala.

A shiver crawled down his spine when he saw nooses hanged around the burnt house with limp bodies resting their bruised necks on the hangman's noose. Buster didn't know who those people were on the nooses but he averted his gaze away from them. He trembled when he finally got to the auditorium. The hands were pressed against the wallpaper, as in it trapped the people in this decaying theater.

"Help! Help!"

Buster heard the voices both unfamiliar and familiar. He breathed heavily while covering his ears.

"We know you can still hear us, Moon!"

"Let us out!!"

"Our dreams built this theater!"

Buster couldn't stop the voices coming into his head as he lifted his gaze up to see that no one was even around him. He glanced around for anyone else in this decaying theater.

"You trapped everyone here," a crude voice spoke, causing Buster to turn around to see a shadowy figure of a koala with eyes burning red.

"What do you want from me?!" Buster interrogated, his voice echoing the theater.

"You think life is a musical. The world is the stage and everyone is an actor or an actress. You trapped everyone you ever know or have not known in this theater. They can never get out of it because of you," the shadow growled.

Buster began to tremble. "I-I didn't trap anyone. T-They want to be here--"

"In hell with you, Mr. Moon?" the shadow chuckled at Buster's response. "I'm sure they want to be here with you in this dark place."

"Who are you?!"

The shadow grinned mischievously. "I'm your shadow, Buster Moon. And I grew over the years. Ever since you're what? Born? Since you fell in love with the theater?"

Buster heard a creaking noise coming from the stage as he turned his gaze up to see a familiar black Suffolk sheep.

"Once there was a way

To get back homeward

Once there was a way!

To get back home!"

Buster gasped in shock as Nana was aging faster than he could imagine. She was young...then old...then her flesh peeled away to reveal her organs, staining blood on the purple dress she usually wore. Then, her eyes fell out of the eye socket, her organs that once held her skeleton up began to hop out of her skeletal body. Her dress came undone, dropping by her feet. She stepped up the stage, now that her organs and her veins had been dispatched and turned to dust. Her skeleton body continued to sing.

"Once there was a way.

To get back home."

Buster breathed heavily and anxiously as he heard a peal of tiny laughter. His eyes shifted towards the balcony to see his younger self, his six-year-old self, peering at the edge of the balcony with his father holding him so that he wouldn't fall. His loving adopted father had the chains around his body.

"D-Dad," Buster began to sob, his legs wobbling.

"You even trapped your poor old father here."

Buster turned back to his shadow with a glare. "I didn't trap him here."

"Maybe not physically...but that look of desire in your eyes was what trapped your father here in this place."

"He-He's not trapped here. He's-He's dead."

The shadow chuckled. "You don't get the concept, do you? You trapped so many people and you are in the process of trapping your 'beloved'."

"Wh-What?"

The stage made a creaking noise again as Buster glanced to see Maya, sitting on the piano and playing violin solemnly.

"Once there was a way.

To get back homeward.

Once there was a way.

To get back home."

"M-Maya?" Buster recognized with tears in his eyes.

"You're trying to free her from her mother...but what you don't know is that you trapped her in the theater just like how her mother trapped her at home," the shadow continued to speak behind him, hissing into Buster's ears.

"I did not!" Buster turned abruptly, glaring at the shadow. "She's safe from her mother! She doesn't deserve this much suffering!"

The shadow smirked. "Look at you. You're all riled up when I mentioned your mistress."

Buster had his fists clenched with tears staining his cheeks. "Leave her alone! You leave everyone alone!"

"What? You think I can just crawl out of your head and torture your little friends and family?" the shadow guffawed at Buster's demand. "You're dumber than I initially thought. I just told you. I'm your shadow. That means I'm stuck inside of you--"

"Shut up! Just shut up!" Buster screamed as more screams and cries filled in the theater, causing him to collapse on the ground.

"Don't you hear them, Buster?"

"Make it stop! Make it stop!" Buster cried while heaving heavy breaths. He closed his eyes tightly while tears slipped away from his tightly shut eyelids. "Make it stop...make it stop."

Reality:

Make it stop...Make it stop...Make it--stop.

Buster gasped while fluttering his eyes opened. Was this another hallucination? He looked up to see the blue sky while part of him thought he's in Heaven. Buster glanced down to realize that his body was wrapped by scales. He gasped as he quickly looked up to find that Serpent was looking out into the horizon at the view of the huge city of Catalonia.

The koala began to breathe heavily once he realized that he's on the rooftop of the tallest building.

"Don't you like the high view?" Serpent asked as Buster was able to piece his mind together from the hallucinogen.

"When I'm not being thrown off a rooftop, I would've enjoyed it more," Buster uttered with a heavy breath.

Serpent chuckled. "You humor me, Mr. Moon. I guess you have some opportunity to become Milo Rambo but you were never able to take it."

Buster gasped in shock that Serpent knew this.

Serpent looked at him from the corner of his eyes. "What? You think I don't keep track of what's happening under me?"

Buster breathed heavily.

Serpent chuckled. "You're such a fool if you think that. When you're the one in charge, you always keep an out for anyone working under you. I think you and I both know this rule."

Buster blinked while trying to stay awake. "What do you want from me?"

Serpent glanced at Buster, directing his full attention to the koala. "You, my friend, have a corrupted adopted father. Well, when I say corrupt, I mean that he took advantage of the Rattler Society. He had every opportunity to give you up and hand you over to us but he decided to not take it. Derek...oh, Derek did the dumbest thing. He gave your adopted father a lot of money to buy the theater and pay the bills for the first five years of ownership. Do you not know how much it cost?"

Buster was silent, knowing that Serpent was asking him a rhetorical question.

"A million. A million dollars. Half a five hundred grand goes to your adopted father's medical records and another half goes to your little theater."

Buster blinked in disbelief. "But...he--"

"He what? Told you? Your father told you that he got the money from the bank. You know that bank won't loan you that much money, would they?"

Buster shifted uncomfortably. "I-I can pay you back--"

"How can you when you're living in your desk drawer?" Serpent said with a laugh. "Besides, I don't want money you're going to borrow from the rich people. It's already too late."

Buster breathed heavily while trying to get out of Serpent's hold as a needle from his tail suddenly dig into Buster's neck, causing the koala to screech in pain.

Serpent smiled to see Buster suffer. "You know, seeing you squirm in pain is so much better than killing you after all. However, I wouldn't say that for your little friends."

Buster glanced up at Serpent while the snake guided him to see the screen on the wall of the chimney and showed footage of Johnny, Eddie, Chirea, and Ash sneaking through the building.

The koala gasped in fear for the others as the snake smirked smugly.

"You should've kept better watch of your little employees," Serpent replied coyly.

Buster breathed anxiously, wanting to shout but he knew that they couldn't hear him.

Guys...get out of there!

Serpent chuckled as he pressed a red button right next to the screens.

~.~

Johnny, Eddie, Chirea, and Ash warily ambled down the hallway while keeping an eye out for anything coming at them.

It was sudden that the lights went off in the hallway as the red blaring lights were blinking and the siren went off.

"Uh...I think we're caught," Eddie uttered.

"Well, no duh," Ash countered.

Chirea took out her blades. "Serpent's gonna send his men after us. Be ready!"

Johnny took out the handgun he kept in his leather jacket while Ash had her quills ready for launch. Eddie and Chirea readied their stances to fight the unknown enemy coming to them.

The wolves came in with guns as Johnny and Chirea were first in line to fight them off with guns and blades while Eddie threw punches to help Johnny and Chirea out and Ash impaling her enemies with her quills.

From the cameras watching everything, Serpent smiled coyly to see Mike in the elevator and waiting to get to the floor he wanted to go. Serpent gripped on Buster tighter as Buster was almost ready to pass out from all the chemicals going into him.

"Looks like those four animals aren't the only ones coming after you, Mr. Moon," Serpent said with a giggle while pressing the button to control the elevator on the rooftop.

At the elevator, Mike noticed the lights flickering above him as he was setting up his little device. The mouse vigilante placed his little device on top of the security camera and turned the device on. It showed a hologram version of himself walking around the elevator.

Mike smiled to himself as he exited the elevator through the ceiling, entering the top of the elevator that had cables pulling it up. Mike took out his little grappler gun and pointed up towards the ceiling. He shot it up in the air as the grapple took hold of the ceiling. The elevator jerked to a stop suddenly, which didn't shock the mouse.

Mike let the grapple rope lift him up slightly off the ground as the elevator fell down through the building. The mouse smirked a bit to himself while taking out a disk and flick his wrist to throw it at the wall beside him over the vent door, coiling the rope that was attached to it. Mike took deep breaths, counted to ten, and thrusted himself towards the wall while holding onto the grapple gun. He busted through the vent door, causing the mouse to tumble into the vents.

Mike pressed the button on the gun to detach the grapple from the ceiling as it coiled back towards the gun. When it was coiled back to the gun, Mike slipped it in his jacket and pulled the disk above the vent. He slipped the disk into his jacket as he made his way through the vent.

Meanwhile, Nooshy took a stack of sticky notes and began to draw smiley faces on them, sticking them onto the cameras with a sly grin as Porscha and Maya followed the snow lynx.

They finally reached the security room as the wolf patrolling it just walked out. Porscha immediately punched him in the face, knocking him out unconscious. The wolf collapsed on the floor as Porscha, Nooshy, and Maya snuck into the security room as Porscha had a hand in controlling the cameras. Mike entered the room from the vent while approaching the girls and the cameras.

"Excuse me," Mike uttered while shutting off all the cameras except for the one that was on the rooftop. There, Mike, Porscha, Maya, and Nooshy noticed Buster up on the rooftop with Serpent.

"Guys, Serpent's got Buster up on the rooftop! Get there quick!" Mike spoke on the walkie-talkie.

"Copy that!" Johnny responded.

This messed up Serpent's sight from the rooftop as the snake chuckled humorlessly.

"Such determination. I guess your friends aren't so different from you after all."

Buster couldn't move his body to give a struggle against Serpent's hold as he tried to speak but his lips were dried and his words couldn't form from his vocal cord. The koala blinked when he heard the door bust opened suddenly.

Was this a hallucination or was this real? Johnny, Chirea, Eddie, and Ash entered the scene while the wolves jumped from the shadows and apprehended the animals.

"Moon!" Johnny and Ash yelled together.

"Buster!" Both Eddie and Chirea called out.

Buster felt some ringing in his ears as he tried to fight whatever was going on through his mind.

Stop. Stop. Stop. Stop. Stop.

Serpent smiled smugly at them. "Well, well, Moon's little employees to the rescue."

Ash used her quills to get the wolves off of her and charged towards Serpent until Serpent was able to use the needle and stuck it inside of Ash.

"ASH!!!" Johnny screamed in horror.

Ash loosened up as her quills were no longer pricked, causing her to collapse on her knees.

Johnny shoved the wolves off of him and ran towards the porcupine, picking her up in his arms. He shot a glare up at the snake. Out of the corner of his eyes, he noticed a needle coming towards him as he dodged and jumped away from both Serpent and Buster.

Serpent chuckled dryly. "Smart boy. He looks quite useful for future performances."

Johnny growled aggressively while holding unconscious Ash close to his chest.

Eddie began to tear up to see his best friend like this. "Let him go!"

Serpent gazed at him in pretense pity. "Aww, poor choice of words."

With that said, Serpent threw Buster's small paralyzed body off the roof as if he's just meaningless to them, earning a gasp from the people apprehended.

"No!!" Eddie cried out while having enough strength to shoulder bashed the wolves off of him and sprinted towards the edge of the rooftop. Before anyone could know what he's doing, Eddie hopped off the rooftop to get Buster, earning a gasp from everyone...including the ones in the security room.

"Eddie!!!" Everyone cried out with tears in their eyes.

Eddie dove towards the unconscious Buster, who didn't even know he's thrown off of the rooftop until Eddie grabbed his arm.

Buster immediately snapped out of the hallucinogen slowly as Eddie went around Buster and hugged him from behind to protect him from the impact of the fall.

He was falling! Buster breathed heavily and screamed in panic.

"Eddie! What's going on?! Why are we falling?!" Buster began to sob, not even sure what's going on around him was real or not.

Eddie held him tightly while closing his eyes shut to take in the impact of the fall.

Meanwhile, Mike, Porscha, Maya, and Nooshy ran out of the security room and towards the windows to see Eddie and Buster falling past them.

"Buster! Eddie!" Maya cried as they had their faces pressed against the window and watched them fall.

From a far distance, Derek, Cliff, Johnny's gang, Rosita, Gunter, Norman, Meena, Meena's family, Alfonso, Nana, Clay, and Nancy saw familiar white wool falling from the tallest building while driving up to it.

"Is that Eddie--?" Nana recognized while getting out of her hallucination.

"Drive, drive!" Johnny's father shouted at Derek as Derek stepped on it and carried everyone through the city to get to the building.

On the rooftop, Chirea tried to summon her speed powers and went back to the stairs, stumbling into walls and tripping over steps to get to both Eddie and Buster before they could hit the ground. Johnny gave Serpent one last fearful glance as he carried Ash and ran away to get to Chirea.

Johnny caught up with Chirea and grabbed her by the wrist as they ran down the stairs. Porscha, Maya, Mike, and Nooshy found them soon enough on the same floor they split up at as they all ran down the stairs together to get to Eddie and Buster.

Meanwhile, Eddie held onto Buster tightly as Buster tried to stay awake.

"Eddie! Please, tell me this is real! Tell me you got a parachute!" Buster begged, scared while hugging close to Eddie.

Eddie bit his lip while hugging him tightly. So many memories of him and Buster as kids ran through his brain as he whimpered at the fact that he's going to die. "Hey, you-you know what's great hitting rock bottom...there's only one way left to go...and that's up."

Before Buster could understand what was going on, Eddie crashed through the fabric that shaded the entrance of the hotel and his body was slammed onto the concrete floor, knocking the sheep out.

Buster felt the impact too like he got punched in the gut and he was blacked out for a moment.

Johnny, with Ash in his arms, busted through the door with Chirea, Nooshy, Maya, and Mike behind him. Their pupils were shrunken in terror when they saw Eddie's still body laying on fabric he fell through.

"Guys?" Maya uttered tearfully as they heard Buster groaned in pain.

Johnny glanced up to see the white van swerving onto the curb with everyone they know and love getting out of it. Norman and Rosita gasped in shock with Gunter and Meena holding in tears in their eyes. Meena's family and Johnny's gang covered their mouths in horror as Derek, Nana, Clay, and Alfonso were breathing heavily in terror. Cliff and Nancy blinked in disbelief as the animals around them were in complete shock.

Chirea limped over to Buster and Eddie along with Johnny, Porscha, Nooshy, Maya, and Mike.

"Eddie?! Buster?!" Chirea cried out while trying to wake both of the men up.

Buster groaned more while lifting his tired eyelids up to see a hole in the fabric.

Johnny came beside Buster while trying to shake him awake gently while cradling Ash in his arms. "Mr. Moon. Eddie. Wake up!"

Buster breathed heavily when he saw Johnny beside him in fear and worry. He glanced down to notice the red fabric around him. He saw Maya hovering over him and trying to help him awake while Johnny and Chirea focused on waking Eddie up. Maya helped Buster off of Eddie as Johnny had Chirea back up a bit away from the passed-out sheep. Johnny handed Ash to Porscha, who helped carry her. Johnny took off his leather jacket while folding it like a cushion to Eddie's head. The gorilla took his shirt off without care if someone was looking at his six-packed abs and cushioned the sheep's head from the other side.

Buster blinked for a few seconds to try and register what just happened. "Eddie?"

Maya hugged him tightly while Buster began to realize that it's all real.

"EDDIE!!!!" Buster cried out while trying to reach him but his ribs hurt him and caused him to stumble. Maya helped Buster up to his feet while both of the koalas were hugging each other as Buster cried into her hair.

Derek quickly went to get the hospital bed and rolled it over quickly. Carefully, Derek and Johnny were able to lift Eddie up from the floor and put him on the medical bed. Derek quickly rolled Eddie into the van as Mike and Nancy were reunited with hugs and kisses.

Stan took back the green truck they used as half of the gang went with Derek and Eddie into the white van while the other half went into the green truck. The two vehicles drove quickly through Catalonia streets, leaving behind Serpent and the wolves looking over at them from the rooftop with a snicker.

~.~

It's been a week since their last encounter with the Rattler Society. Buster hadn't been the same throughout the week. Even though the hallucinogen was completely out of his body by now, Buster sat with Eddie in the hospital room, hoping that he would wake up from his coma. That's what Derek said that Eddie's under. Buster prayed that Eddie would wake up and just breathe. He's got so much to live for.

Nana and Clay, with the hallucinogen completely out of them, sat nearby the bench as Nana had been sobbing nonstop while Clay was there to comfort her. Mike and Nancy held hands while trying to distract themselves by watching television with Meena and her family. Alfonso came by Meena and gave her a bowl of ice cream to make her feel better.

Norman and Rosita had been watching over the kids as the kids were confused as to why Eddie was passed out. Norman and Rosita, as parents, never had the guts to tell the kids what happened to Eddie.

Gunter, Ms. Crawly, and Herman were trying to make themselves feel better by talking about things that didn't center around the incident and Eddie's coma.

Ash had the hallucinogen completely out of her as she spent more time with Johnny, Johnny's gang, Cliff, Nooshy, and Porscha, trying to come up with activities that didn't involve thinking.

Maya vented through playing her violin she found in the instrument room Derek happened to have, which caused the glowing butterflies to flutter all around and sparkled in soothing colors as if they're trying to comfort her. Milla and her bodyguards were off away from Catalonia, avoiding the drama there since there's too much to take in.

Derek had been avoiding everybody in the past week, building new inventions just for the heck of it to distract himself from it.

This past week, everyone's trying to wrap their minds around the incident that happened. The news talked about it everywhere but no one wanted to hear it, including Buster.

Buster sat on the edge of the bed while frowning to himself.

Chirea entered the room where Buster was watching Eddie. The cheetah sighed heavily as she leaned up against the wall next to Buster and put her hand on his shoulder.

Buster glanced up at her with tears in his eyes. He glanced away from her and back to Eddie. "This is my fault."

Chirea shook her head. "No-"

"It is...If...if I--"

"If you did what?" Chirea asked gently.

Buster held in his tears. "Milo's right...if it weren't for me...I wouldn't have put anyone in danger. Eddie wouldn't have gotten hurt. You wouldn't have gotten hurt. Maya wouldn't have gotten hurt. Dad and Mom wouldn't have gotten hurt."

Buster began to sob as he hugged his legs to his chest. "Nobody in this house wouldn't have gotten hurt."

Chirea frowned as she saw her friend sobbing harder into his legs. Normally, Chirea wouldn't be good at comforting people but...Buster was the only exception where she showed her soft side for right now.

"If it weren't for you, Eddie and I wouldn't have met," Chirea uttered softly.

Buster hugged his legs tighter.

"Maya wouldn't have discovered her true origins if it weren't for you," Chirea continued on, gaining Buster's attention. "If it weren't for you...everyone here wouldn't be a family."

Buster glanced up at Chirea with red puffy eyes.

Chirea smiled softly. "Buster, if it weren't for you...nobody here would be together in this place. You pulled us together, believe it or not."

Buster frowned while gazing down at the floor. "I guess."

Chirea sighed heavily. "You know what, why don't you take a short break? I'll watch over Eddie and tell you when he wakes up, okay?"

Buster took a moment to ponder about as he nodded his head weakly. "Okay."

The koala hopped off of the chair and the cheetah sat next to the passed-out sheep as the showman made his way out of the door.

"Buster."

Buster turned his head to look up at Chirea.

"If it weren't for you, we wouldn't find ourselves here. Just know that," Chirea replied while watching over Eddie.

Buster frowned and exited the hospital room. The koala wandered aimlessly down the hall as he collapsed against the wall. This...this was Buster's weakest moment. Buster never ever recalled a moment where he'd cried more than a few days except the fact that his theater was destroyed and he lost everything he fought for. Here...he lost his best friend or was close to losing him.

Buster became afraid that what happened to Eddie will happen to everyone else around him, including Maya. The theater group was not afraid and maybe his determination rubbed off on them, but he's afraid for them. For them to get hurt...for them to get killed.

It's him that Serpent wanted to kill. Buster knew it's him. He kept going into the hallway till he reached the bedroom. Buster noticed Maya laying in the bed, whimpering a bit. Buster bit his lips as he crawled onto the bed with her and wrapped his arm around her waist. He buried his face into her nape while feeling her silky hair around his face.

"Buster?" Maya uttered.

"Hmm?"

Maya turned over, causing him to pull his head back away from her and stare into her beautiful blue eyes once again.

"Are you doing okay?" Maya asked gently.

Normally, Buster would respond to that question nonchalantly and dust off any negative emotions but...the burden was getting too heavy on his shoulders.

He shook his head. "No...no."

Maya scooted closer to Buster and placed her head against his chest, hearing his beating heart.

Buster nuzzled against her head with little whimpers.

Maya placed a hand on his chest and rubbed his fur to soothe him. "I'm sorry about Eddie. I know how much he means to you."

Buster pecked small kisses all over her head. "Don't be...he's going to be okay. He's going to be okay."

That's what Buster was telling himself. He hated the uncertainty now than he did before. He would give anything to know that Eddie was going to be okay. If it was Maya in that situation, he would be just as devastated and even heartbroken. In all honesty, he's glad that it wasn't Maya that took the fall but...he didn't want Eddie to take the fall either.

There's so much Buster could or could've done but was too paralyzed to do it. There's much he wanted to say to his theater group before Serpent just chucked him off the roof. Even under the hallucinogen at the time, Buster could've sworn that he kept switching back to reality and non-reality. He thought Eddie falling with him was a hallucination until they hit the ground.

Buster now would groan at himself for being so stupid but no one in the entire theater would blame him. The koala hugged his girlfriend closer to him as she snuzzled into the crook of his neck.

"Bloody Mary!" They heard Johnny shouting from the living room as the koalas jumped up in surprise at Johnny's outburst.

Buster and Maya got up from the bed and ran into the living room where everyone in the theater, including Rosita's family, Meena's family, Johnny's family, Nana, Derek, and Clay watched the news of the town being destroyed during the past week.

Buster gasped as Maya stepped closer to get a better viewing of the television.

Buster blinked as he saw that his Moon Theater was selling tickets to an unknown show as the news anchor on the street stated in a panic.

"On Anchor News, the Moon Theater is armed with a bomb. A bomb! It's going to blow up the building and the buildings nearby it! We have the S.W.A.T team trying to inform the audience to get out of the theater but...Serpent Rattler reassured them that there's no bomb," the news anchorman replied urgently.

"He's gonna kill people in there!" Mike shouted in fear in his tone.

"Goodness me!" Nana gasped.

Buster breathed heavily as everyone began to debate on what to do or what not to do. The koala knew that they don't have time to debate and argue.

The koala blinked his eyes twice before an idea got into his brain. He knew that this was a dangerous idea but there's no other choice.

Buster quickly exited out of the living room without telling anyone as he went on the elevator to get below to the basement. The koala showman strode through the huge basement with extra medical equipment and neat inventions that were just added. Buster rushed towards the pistol left on the table as he took it and stuffed it in his jacket.

The koala turned to see two big vehicles parked next to each other, to which he groaned deeply to realize that he's not big enough to drive those vehicles. Buster noticed a small scooter with a small smirk to himself.

~.~

"Derek, we can't just sit around here and do nothing about this!" Meena's mother shouted at Derek, who tried to calm down everyone since they're freaking out.

"Whoa, everyone, calm down! Calm down!" Derek urged the group. "This is no time to get hysterical!"

"What are you talking about?! This is a perfect time to get hysterical! We're all gonna die!" Mike screeched.

Rosita's piglets began sobbing when they heard what Mike said.

"Are we gonna die, Mommy?" Gail, the youngest, asked in a whimper.

"Oh no, no, we're not going to die," Rosita soothed her children while Norman glared at Mike.

"Great job, Mike, now you made the kids upset," Norman snarled at Mike.

"You're welcome," Mike growled sarcastically.

"Is this a good time to get hysterical?" Herman questioned timidly.

"No!" Norman spoke out loud.

"Yes!" Mike argued with the father pig.

"Maybe, but not right now!" Derek shouted firmly.

They heard a garage opening sound.

"Uh...who's using the garage?" Johnny's father uttered. Everyone quickly moved to the entrance as they saw a scooter riding off towards Catalonia.

"Buster?" Maya recognized as she turned to see that he's not with her.

Johnny sighed heavily. "Bloody Mary."

"He's gonna get himself captured again!" Mike shouted in fear.

Derek exhaled deeply. "It's time."

"Wait, what?" Mike questioned quickly.

Derek walked towards the hospital room where Chirea was watching Eddie. Eddie was getting better surprisingly as the sheep fluttered his eyes open with a groan.

Chirea gasped happily as Eddie glanced over at the cheetah.

"Hey, Chirea...wh-what's up?" Eddie said with his voice croaked.

"Well, you've been in a coma for a week," Chirea informed a little, trying to contain her happiness. "What you did was dumb."

Eddie chuckled a bit. "Yeah, I kind of figured...wait, where's Buster?"

"He's out to save his theater."

Chirea and Eddie glanced over at Derek, who leaned against the door.

Derek stared at both of them. "Eddie, when you recover, come down to the basement. There's something I oughta show you all."

Derek exited out of the hospital room as Chirea glanced over at Eddie.

Eddie blinked in questioning as he sat up a bit, with a groan in pain.

"You're lucky that the red tent above the entrance broke your fall," Chirea uttered while helping Eddie up and out of the bed.

Eddie rolled his shoulders while stretching his spine to see that it was fully healed in a week...which didn't really normally happen.

"Derek put the chemical in to heal your bones in the week while you're in a coma," Chirea answered almost like she read his mind.

Eddie laughed a bit. "Yeah, thanks."

Both Chirea and Eddie both walked together as they went downstairs to the basement through the elevator. They entered the basement and gasped once they saw what everyone was looking at. There are all kinds of neat inventions that Derek built for the group.

"I build each of these for the heck of it but today...they're not going to be a waste," Derek stated proudly as everyone gasped in fascination.

Derek began to lay out a plan as everyone perked their ears to listen to what the older elephant had to say.

To Be Continued...
