Epilogue: The Next Generation's Torch
*Hey guys, this is the final final chapter of the story! This is an epilogue of what happened to the characters after they won and took back Catalonia. It's short but I think you all would like it(I never wrote an epilogue before so it's going to have a rookie mistake in it. Sorry). This is published on August 5, 2021. If you guys like this epilogue and this entire story, let me know by voting and spamming the comment section. That will be greatly appreciated! I'm happy to be finished with this story. Enjoy!*
It was only six years later that Catalonia was restored to its former glory. The Moon Theater was rebuilt and the streets were cleaned up. Serpent went down in history as the world's biggest entertainer who killed himself due to his depression or anxiety. Some say he's a corporate tyrant while some say he had a desire to always out best everyone. No one could understand what happened to him in his past, and, perhaps, it's best left unknown.
However, in six years, Ash went on tours around the globe while Johnny applied to become a piano teacher at an elementary school where Rosita's kids go to school. Her kids became pre-teens as Norman and Rosita moved through life with love and happiness that others envy, despite having troubles with the upkeep and work.
Gunter went with Porscha to Redshore City and worked at the Crystal Theater for great pay as a performer and dancer for her theater. Eddie had his own place now since he's able to work as a stagehand at the Moon Theater and a videogame designer at E-tech.
Derek rebuilt Lloyd's and the restaurant was booming since he got help from Meena's family and the entire neighborhood by supporting them.
Meena and Alfonso were married and began to settle down in their own house with their kids running around in the house.
Johnny's father, Stan, and Barry were no longer turned to crime. Instead, they built their garage back up to be an auto shop where they fix cars and motorcycles at a fair price.
Milla Star continued to inspire others by singing her heart out about everything going on in her head and all the silly stories she could tell to young hybrid children, who were growing by the numbers.
Clay Calloway and Nana Noodleman died peacefully of old age. They have aged gracefully, some say but every once in a while, Eddie would be visiting Nana's grave in Catalonia. However, out into the quiet hills near Redshore City, there was Clay's headstone buried in his old house next to his wife's headstone.
Cliff worked in the Moon Theater along with Rosita, Norman, Nooshy, Mike, Nancy, and Chirea. Chirea decided to try out performing but she wasn't as good at it as she was now. At first, she sounded a bit off-key and her acting was stiff. But over time, Buster taught her about the many ways she could perform and Chirea was able to nail it down throughout the six years.
Buster and Maya were happily married for six years with two kids of their own. One of them having more gray fur than golden fur while the other had more gold than gray fur. By becoming a showman, Buster was able to show his kids the wonders and magic of theater. The kids seemed a bit bored of it like it's nothing to be said.
Now, it was night, the performance was open in a local theater as the animals went to buy the tickets to go see the show as everyone was seated. The seats were cheap but the performance was said to be outstanding.
As everyone was waiting anxiously on the stage, the smell of lavender filled in the air, and the animals gathered around to see a young leopard singing his heart out.
"Once there's a way!
To get back homeward.
Once there's a way!
To get back home.
Sleep pretty darling do not cry,
And I will sing a lullaby."
Up in the balcony, one could see Buster Moon and Maya Hart watching the children while their little girl with her father's bright eyes and her mother's golden fur was leaning on the edge of the balcony while Buster was holding her waist so that she wouldn't fall off.
Maya had her son sat on her lap while her son held a little bored look on his face. Buster looked around the theater, being reminded where his passion and love for the theater came from...and he could see the same love and heart for the theater in his daughter than in anyone else.
Buster could only smile as his daughter took in all the scenery and the smell. His daughter, on the other hand, dreamed bigger than what Buster could ever dream when he's just a young child.
The End.
