As I was getting ready for my first day of school, a million questions came in my head. My thoughts were interupted by a knock on my bedroom door. "Come in."  "Hey honey, are you almost ready ?" mama asked "Yea, I guess." "Don't worry. The students at the school are just like you." "If you say so." "Come on downstairs. Were waiting for you." After I looked in the mirror one last time, I went downstairs. Michael and daddy were waiting for me. "There she is. How you feeling ?" Daddy asked me. " Nervous." "Awww don't be, darling. I'm sure once you get used to it, you'll be fine." "Well, come on. Don't wanna be late." The drive to school was quick. " Ah. Good ol' Monster High.  Good times." "You've been here ?" I asked. " Yea. My brothers and I used to go here. I wonder if Headmistress Bloodgood is still here ?" No sooner had I said that, hooves started rumbling in the disatnce. On top of the steps was a lady riding a blue horse that was shooting fire out its nose. " Welcome to Monster High. I'm Headmistress Bloodgood. Michael, is that you ?" She said. " Hey Headmistress. How are you ?" "I'm fine. I want you to meet my wife, Luna, and her parents." "Hello. I'm Wendy and this is my husband, Kenny." "Hi." "The students are starting to arrive. Why don't we go into my office." We followed her inside the school. "Once I heard that the new member of the royal family was attending here, I couldn't believe my ears." She took her head of and set it down on the desk. She saw my reaction and laughed. "Don't worry, Luna. I get that reaction alot." Headmistress, my parents, and Michael started talking about how to keep the public awsy from me during the school day. After they came to an agreement, they let me go. "Have a wonder first day, honey." Mama said giving me a hug and a kiss. "Thanks, mama." "You'll be fine. I'll pick you up after school. See ya later, sweetfang." Michael said. After they left, I looked around for my locker. The lockers were in the shape of coffins and had skull locks. I found mine next to a girl with mint green skin and black and white hair with neck bolts coming out of her neck. She was also wearing one of mama's clothesline. "Ok. Left, right, down, up. Come on. Left, right, down, up. Why won't this thing open ?" "Are you having trouble opening that ?" the girl asked me. I notice she has one blue eye and one green eye.. " Yea. Can you help me ?" " Sure." It took her no time to open it. "Gee, thanks." " Your welcome. Are you new here ?" " Actually, yes I am." "That's voltagous." Her bolts sparked. "Whoa." I said. " Sorry. I'm Frankie Stein." " I'm Luna." "I like your style of clothes. It's W.M., right. " "Yea." The intercom came on and bats flew out of it. "Welcome back, Monster High. This is Headmistress Bloodgood. I hope you had a terrifying summer. I want to take this time to welcome all of our new students and especially to the new member of the royal family to our school. She will go unannounced for protection reasons. Let's all have a chilling year." "Can you believe it ? A member of the royal family is here at our school. I wonder who she is."Frankie said. "Hey ghoul." Someone said behind us. "Oh hey guys. How's it going ? This is Luna. Luna, these are my ghoulfriends. This is Draculuara. She's a vampire. This is Cleo. She is the mummy's daughter. This is Lagoona. She's a sea monster. And this is Clawdeen. She's a werewolf like you." "Hi." I said. "Nice shoes. They're tots." Draculuara said. "Ummm....tots ?" "It means tight." Frankie said. " I haven't seen you before. Are you new here ?" Cleo said. " Yea." "I like your style. It's fierce." Clawdeen said. "I know right. That's what I was saying. W.M. is so amazing. I love her stuff. I wish I could meet her." Frankie said. "Did you hear that the new royalty is here ? Oh My Ra !! She better not upstage me. I'm the only royalty in this school." Cleo said. "Don't worry. She won't. She's not the type of girl who would do that." I said. "How do you know ?" Frankie asked. "I saw her this morning." "Oh well, we better get to class. Luna, what do you have first ?" "Math." "We have the same class too. You should sit with us." Draculuara said. "Ok. Just led the way." I said. I followed them. The classroom was like a college classroom. We sat at the top. We started class with notes. "Oh My Ra ?! Are you actually taking notes ?" Cleo said. "Yea, what's wrong with that ?" I asked. "Ghouls like us don't take notes. We have people for that." She said gesturing to another girl that looked like a nerd(sorry) with huge glasses and blueish skin. "If you don't know, this is Ghoulia. Ghoulia, this is Luna. She's a newbie." " Uuuuugggghhhh." "Of course not, Ghoulia. She's not the new royalty." "What did she say ?" I asked. "She said that you could be the new royalty." After math, we had a break. "So Luna, you gotta boyfriend ?" Clawdeen asked me. "Ummm..." "She does !! Who is he ? Do we know him ? Does he go here ?" They all asked. " Ummm....I can't tell you who he is exactly and you should know and he went here." "Can we met him ?" Frankie asked. "You will eventually. Can we talk about something else instead ? I don't want to blow his cover." "Ok. Are you coming to the R.A.D. meeting tonight ?" " I think so. My parents and "boyfriend" are coming too, I think." "Good. Cause we want to meet him." Cleo said. "I just hope we can still be friends after you find out." " Why wouldn't we be ?" Frankie said. At that, the bell rang for the next class.
