When Hope Mikaelson seven she was taken over by a dark spirit that her family ended up taking out of her and putting into themselves, leading them to ending up having to leave to keep her safe.

When she was 15 she came up with a plan to bring her family back. She'd knock out her mother, hide her in a church and then call her dad. Only things didn't go as planned. Hope's boyfriend turned out to have kidnapped Hayley after tricking Hope and getting into her head with his vampire powers.

In the end the girl's mother died, and then Hope took the power from her family and put it back into herself, causing herself to start slowly dying from the poison of the dark magic. Only for at the last minute her father to trick her and take it into himself, and then die a few days later.

After that Hope went back to school, alone, depressed, and orphaned.

When she was 17 things started happening. Monsters started showing up and killing people. And a couple years later she were able to finally put an end to it all. Only for her humanity to turn off due to having to kill her boyfriend to stop the attacks. Just adding to the list of people she's lost in her life.

And then her humanity turned back on, she killed a God and then graduated.

And after College Hope didn't go back, she wanted more from life than just her past. She wanted a new start. To be where people didn't know what she'd been through, where they didn't know what she'd done. She wanted to be happy and free.

So she left and went to a place called National City. Where she met an Alien girl that she quickly became close friends with.

And as the new few years passed things started changing. Like, for instance, they became superheroes. Supergirl and Wonder Woman.

Now everyone Hope cares about is being brought into a room to watch the future of team Supergirl.
