O. Bernadette Waters was never one to stand out in the crowd, and she preferred it that way. Her idea of a perfect night was spent in her garage, sitting at her piano surrounded by nothing but the sound coming from her fingertips. Life had never been easy for the girl, but she found ways to cope with her grief ridden life. As she was beginning to fall into the path of acceptance, she ran into a shaggy haired boy who refused to let her drown in her sorrows.

I. When it came to Luke Patterson, nothing in his life was more important than music. With multiple attempts to prove his parents wrong, he knew his talent was something that couldn't be wasted by a future in the corporate culture. He was not built for a life behind a desk, and was willing to do whatever it takes for his dreams to succeed. He was beginning to lose all hope until one certain blue haired girl came into the picture, and his new passion was to learn everything about her.
