A classic contrast (Ajay-Kumar)
A classic contrast
I scratch and push the golden walls
And walk through these long halls
Of this luxurious, expensive house,
With pet cats and prey mouse
Past the pools and the swings
And all the other shiny things,
And the benches dusting with gold
On this night so dark and cold
With a view of valley and seas
But this calm can't buy some peace,
And pretty trees lined in lanes
And I wish to escape these pains
And then I entered a tiny hut
Where I was accepted with arms jut,
The roof was raw, of straw and hay,
Cattle mooed and asses did bray
With only a candle lighting the place
But brighter were the smiling face,
From luxury, far did I roam,
To a place I could call truly 'home'
