Rewind

Desire to turn back time.

The one thing I don't want to exist, is that

'I'm Me, and it's alright.'

I am special, yet I cannot please everyone?

But I'm so courageous, I am strong, I can make it through!

Yet fear prevents me from doing something.

Cherishing my greatest moments is one thing.

My bright smile can cure the darkness.

Yet they utter to me that

Everything about me is so negative.

They were telling the truth.

People said my life would get better.

That is a lie.

Hope is something that cannot be achieved.

What if I could rewind time?

Now reread the poem backwards.
