The Darkness and The Moon (FictionGoddess)
The Darkness and The Moon
I watched the sun fade,
From my seat by the window,
Waiting for Time's aid,
To let the darkness consume the dim glow.
Perhaps the black knight,
On his dark fearsome stallion,
Will envelope everything in sight,
With the illusion of endless oblivion.
But the night is not his to rule,
Not while the king still reigns,
The sliver of silver, regal and shrewd,
Watching over His domain!
And in His absence, monthly once,
Out of his noble generosity,
He warns his people in advance,
And let's the Knight roam free!
