sing praises,

for the fates,

that gave you relationships to endure.

for the friends,

who reminded the modest fortune

to swing.

for the parenting,

who merited the earnings of

livelihood.

for the mother earth,

withholding a nurturing nature,

and thousands of lives.

for the universe

its sheer vastness, that makes alive

and these problems seem petite.

for the ancestors

insighting the future that holds await

for our procreation.

for that one who

fulfils you with compassion.

sing praises

for a family of pub

where these verselets shine

through the glory of writers.

for a Commune of poets,

where once Keating said:

"We read and write poetry because

we are members of the human race,

and these are what we stay alive for."

so sing a praise to be a poet.
