Far away from glittery crowd
There lived a lovely Star
Surrounded by Darkness
But busy living it's own life
Less admired still fully radiating
It's unique shade of spark

Darkness got curious,
Moulded doubts in the form of words,
Asked lovely Star,
'Why don't you get affected by
The glumness I spread?
That's one thing,
I don't like, when someone hates me
For being what I am.'

Lovely Star replied with
It's signature smile,
"I'm doing nothing special
That's exactly I've been made for.
My focus is on living my life
Enjoying every moment.
What others think of me is
Actually none of my business."

Darkness got surprised to hear
The reply of Star
Just then Star winked mischievously
With a more surprising finishing note,

"I want to thank you Darkness
For enhancing my beauty,
It's your contrasting glumness
That forced me to focus on my duty."
