Heartbeats

I don't want to get locked anymore
I don't want to be at home

Lots and lots of excuses
To be free
To be in the beautiful world
Waiting for me out of the door

Yes.. finally I got the chance
To fulfill all my dreams
Spreading both my arms happily
I ran towards my goal with glee

One by one I started ticking
Tiny targets and added some more
After a while I felt that something was missing
I started getting bored

Realization then clicked
And it left me off guard
I was missing my sweet home
Forgetting the very place I had tried so hard

After living a phase of life
I'm back at home again
What I achieved was better but
Being at home is itself not less than a gain
