Yeah we all know it was historically bad, because of:
-the overdose of Fortnite, Baby Shark, Bongo Cat, and other cringy things we must leave behind in 2018
-the people they included- a bunch of nobodies, Ninja, Lele Pons (who I've heard is annoying), Liza (who hasn't uploaded anything in 9 months), Will Smith (I don't think he even has a channel, but at least there's memes of "ah ha ha, that's hot")
-the people they didn't include (PEWDIEPIE)
-the part in the middle where they try to make themselves look good- "we should think of the people who worked to make a difference in the world" or something along those lines. Sorry, I'm not buying it.
-"I think maybe we should read the comments." This part was just unbearably horrible. Basically an entire minute of fortnite crap. Please CEASE and DESIST of this gosh-diddly-darn game. Followed by more cringe until the video ends.
-I don't think it recapped the year all that well. Think of big events that happened this year- infinity war, the deaths of Steven Hawking, Stefan Karl, Stan Lee, and Steven Hillenburg, T series vs Pewdiepie, to name a few. Nope, none of these are important. Only fortnite is. It was a big part of 2018, I do agree, but I think everyone is done with this game being shoved down their throats.
-as I've heard from many, youtube seems to be disconnected from their audience more and more each year. I can see it here.

But there are some good things to come out of it:
-a new record for number of dislikes.
-the memes, specifically the Will Smith memes.
-this short moment:
