Two Books in...

May 22nd is the anniversary of the first book, it's just over two years!!!
And during this book, I've gone from under 200 followers to nearly 900. In one book. That's around four times the number of followers I had starting this book like xxxxx

Again, THANK YOU SO MUCH - MJ/Kora/Klara is my comfort writing so it's so cool seeing other people enjoy that and it. Book three...it's a bit different because it's the first book I haven't written at least half of before posting, but it is all planned, I'm just way busier at Uni than I was in sixth-form/COVID.

Book Three is gonna be called Lights Flicker And Fade.

and it's gonna have three parts;

TOS3 - Where Loyalties Lie
TOS4 - *disclosed*
TOS5 - *disclosed*

Right now, it seems like they'll be three chapters of TVDS7 and three to five chapters for S8, but who knows. It's vague cos like...TOS3 is something else. I thought the first half of the season would be easy to write since the plot is quite straightforward, but every episode takes two chapters, some easily making three - like...I'm so sorry lmao. There's a v high chance it'll feel a bit slow at the start, but I think it's worth it.

It gives MJ and Kol storylines etc, as well as

Plot changes.

I like to think they're very minor plot changes, especially in comparison to literally turning an OC into the main villain of TVDS5, but honestly...it's kinda the same level.

I'm not changing who the villain is, but I'm introducing Ryan and his family, plus four OCs, and two new plotlines, as well as having to change most of Kol's arc, adding him into the earlier narrative.

Tis a lot.

They'll be four prelude chapters to TOS3, intro MJ adjusting to the heretic lifestyle, bringing us from summer to Halloween (the start of S3), and a few other smol things.

On a slightly related note, so people know;
Fewer episode titles are chapter titles. It might be confusing at the start.
Since multi-chapters = one episode, I've either split keywords between the two, or,
I'vev completely just been like 'mine now,' highlights including;

We're in MJ's POV the majority of the time, so I might as well use her personality lol

Disclaimer: I wrote these chapters pre-Legacies-Heretic-Lizzie, and MJ's quite similar to her lol - genuinely not copied, but I think it says a lot considering Lizzie is a fave/MJ and she are planned to have a great relationship

Questions:
Who's ready for Heretic!MJ? *smirking*

As a vampire, what do you think is gonna change about her?
And which relationships might change because of it?
And because of the fact she stuck with Klaus at the end of S2?

I was so tempted to make Klaus her sire, like,
The question of sire bonds because all hybrids were, or because of feelings would've been *peak* drama.
And not being sired would've sent Klaus into a spiral about it meaning she didn't feel anything, even friendly love, for him.
Alt-Universe chapter probably incoming lmao
And the hybrid soulmate energy they'd have 🥵

And, I was tempted to make it Kol since she does still have his blood from S3/4, but I also thought that would be too nice

*Peak* drama is also disconnecting her from the Originals completely, especially with the sire-war next season, so, Ric ended up winning. Like, how you think people gonna feel about her being free of the family?

Just let me know predictions/hopes for Book Three!
