Warnings: Violence, shouting, panic attacks, cursing, angst, kidnapping, being bound, brief mention of drinking.

LOGAN!" Virgil sprinted across the living room and all the blankets he had left on the floor. "LOGAN!" Virgil rammed into Logan's door slightly as he struggled to open it as fast as he could.

Inside, Logan was fast asleep. Curled up under his blankets with his glasses on the nightstand, he was blissfully unaware of Virgil's pleas, unable to hear him as Virgil was shouting into the echoing silence that came paired with frozen time. Virgil didn't care about Logan's sleep schedule; he stumbled forward and gripped his shoulders, tugging as hard as he could.

Logan was pulled free and quickly blinked, staring up at the figure before him. Virgil smiled, glad to have woken him up so easily, before he felt something shove against him hard. Virgil let go and was thrown back off of the bed and onto the floor, groaning as he made contact with the rough carpet.

Logan jumped up from his bed, eyes flashing bright gold as he stood over him, ready to strike once more.

"Logan, wait! It's me!" Logan's eyes dimmed and be blinked, squinting and trying to take in what he was seeing. Virgil reached up and pulled off the mask he was wearing that he had nearly forgotten about as he sat up. "It's Virgil."

"Virgil?" Logan rubbed his eyes and sighed. "There are better ways to wake me up, honestly. What were you thinking..." Logan spun around, carefully making his way to his nightstand and reaching for his glasses. He placed them on and looked down toward the clock before groaning. "Why are you waking me up at four in the morning?"

"Logan, I need your help!" Virgil quickly shot up from the floor.

"I would say so. I thought you were out with Roman? Furthermore, why aren't you asleep yet? You both have work tomorrow!"

Reaching out, Virgil grabbed Logan's shoulders and squeezed. "Roman's being kidnapped."

Obviously still waking up, Logan blinked and let the words sink in a bit before nodding. "Ah, well, that explains--what?!"

Virgil slowly pulled back and watched Logan as he started to panic. "I've frozen time but Roman is currently being shoved into a van and he's unconscious and I don't know what happened? I came back to set up sleep and I wanted to wash my face and things are just easier when I don't have to worry about what works and what doesn't in frozen time so I was just going to be a few minutes but then I went back and I couldn't find him and I started to panic but then -- " Virgil took a moment to breathe, placing a hand on his chest -- "I found his stuff and he was half a block away, being taken..."

"That is..." Logan held up his hands. "That is rather quick thinking Virgil, but you need to breathe and relax. In and out, nice and slow."

"But, Roman!"

"Is fine, since nothing can happen right now. Let's focus on you so you can help us, okay?" Virgil nodded and Logan smiled back. "Now, breathe in and hold, two, three, four..."

After helping Virgil through a brief set of breathing exercises, Logan stepped away to give him some space. "Thanks."

"Of course. Now, let's go wake Patton and make a plan, shall we?"

Logan led the way out of his room and through their apartment, stopping and staring at the mess that was on the floor in the living room. "Sorry," Virgil mumbled. "We were going to nap on the floor before all this happened."

"That is fine. You can nap on the floor when this is done, if you so desire." Logan turned and smiled at Virgil. "Okay?"

"Okay." His tone was soft, almost impossible to hear.

Logan opened the door to Patton's room slowly and carefully, peeking in to see his boyfriend stretched out across his bed, sleeping peacefully. He opened the door a bit more and walked in, quietly making his way over to the side of Patton's bed.

Patton had notoriously bad bed head. His curls had a bad habit of sticking up in every direction. His face was buried into a mess of pillows, his blanket curled around him as he snoozed away. Leaning forward, Logan placed a hand on Patton's arm and got a good grip.

"Um, Logan?"

"Hmm?"

"What are you doing?"

Looking over his shoulder, Logan stared at Virgil with a puzzled expression. "Pulling Patton free?"

Virgil made a confused look and Logan ignored it, turning back and tugging against Patton, finding he did not move an inch on the bed. He didn't even budge when Logan attempted to pull him with a bit more strength.

Virgil let out a sigh and stepped forward, reaching out for Patton. "I don't think you can pull him free. I have to focus to pull people free with me when I'm stopping time in the first place."

Virgil reached out and got a good grip on Patton's shoulders before pulling, the familiar noise and wobbly portal left behind from where Patton just was.

Logan looked on in fascination as Patton slowly blinked awake, staring at the wall before looking up at Virgil. He tilted his head to the side and smiled. "Heeeey Virgil, couldn't sleep?"

"Sorry to wake you Pat, but it's an emergency."

"It's fine, I can scoot over and make room for the both of us." Before Patton could fall back into the portal just behind him, Virgil pulled him forward a bit more. "Uh, Virge?"

"Time's frozen, Patton, you have to be careful!" Virgil eyed the portal cautiously. He wasn't sure about the others but the last time he made a portal while just waking up and panicking, it led to no good. Who knew where portals could go when you're asleep and dreaming? Virgil didn't want to find out, not right now. "Just come to the living room, we are having a meeting."

Patton blinked and squinted at the other figure in the room before smiling. "Oh, hey Logan. We just need Roman then, huh?"

"Um," Logan cleared his throat a bit. "It's about Roman, actually. He's not... here."

"Oh!" Patton's eyes began to widen in panic. "Oh..."

---

"So, Roman is being taken right now?" Patton asked. Virgil nodded, standing in front of the couch, as Logan sat next to Patton brainstorming on what to do next. Virgil started to pace back and forth and Patton pulled his legs onto the couch, watching Virgil with worry. "Why don't we just go and grab him away from them while time is stopped?"

"That won't work, they're holding onto him," Virgil started biting his thumbnail as he spoke. "I can't pull him out without pulling them out as well. Besides, if I'm not careful then they'll find out I have powers and that there's more of us. That'll just make things worse."

"Oh, well," Patton mumbled. "You can't just pull him free? Or like, move them off of him first?"

"If I move someone, they break free as well. I can't really control it like that."

"Huh, interesting." Logan crossed his arms and leaned back on the couch. "I wonder if you had more control if you could move someone around without pulling them free."

The silence that followed was broken by soft chuckles before building up to full blown laughter. Virgil threw back his head, his manic tones unsettling his two other roommates. "Perfect... PERFECT! If I had more control, then I could actually save him! Of course, how wonderful. I really am useless!" He leaned forward and hugged his sides, gasping for breath. Patton looked over at Logan concerned before standing up from the couch. "I finally had my chance. I could have finally saved someone... and I blew it."

"Virgil." Patton held out a hand and froze, pulling back as Virgil looked up. Had Virgil not washed the makeup from his face, his tears would have been black and streaked all down his cheeks. "Oh, Virgil, that's not true! It's not your fault!" Patton slowly reached out and pulled his roommate in closer, Virgil's laughter fading into soft sobs. "You didn't do this. You didn't hurt Roman, this isn't your fault. And you got to him just in time to help. We're here, you don't have to do this alone."

Virgil wrapped his arms around Patton and gripped the back of his pajama shirt tight. "I just don't want him to get hurt."

"Shhh, we'll try our best, that's all we can do, okay? I'm sure we'll get our chance to be the heroes, too."

It took a moment for Virgil to calm down enough before he pulled away from Patton, wiping his eyes. "I don't want to be a hero. I don't want to be anything. I just... want Roman to be alright."

Logan stood up from the couch and walked over to Virgil, gently patting him on the shoulder. "Then we just need a plan."

Virgil nodded and took a step back from the others. "Any ideas?"

"I bet Roman would have one." Patton mumbled to himself. "He always had something creative planned."

Logan gasped and snapped his fingers. "That's it! Patton, that's brilliant!"

"Aww, thanks!" Patton smiled. "What'd I do?"

"We need an idea! To be creative! What would Roman do in this situation? He'd perform! Act! That's what we need to do."

"That is the stupidest idea you've ever had." Virgil stared at Logan, a bit baffled at the suggestion. "How is acting going to save him?"

"We just pretend we stumbled upon the scene and try to stop them. I mean, if he was being carried into someone's vehicle, then we just have to call out how weird it seems. They probably wouldn't like witnesses." Logan stood up from the couch and smiled. "We just need to play our parts and ponder over the best roles for each of us." Logan turned to Virgil. "You were with Roman all night, so you'll continue to be the concerned citizen and Prince Charging fan that will stand by and call them out on their actions."

Virgil nodded and fiddled with the mask he wore that night, still not fond of the idea. "I... I guess I can do that, yeah."

"Patton, you and I are going to be late night strollers that happened to hear the cries of distress and investigate! We will then call the cops and try to explain the situation while Virgil tries to get in the path of the vehicle so they can't escape. We need to be careful since they'll know what we look like after this."

"Wait, wait. This... this is so stupid!" Logan and Patton tensed as they looked at Virgil, who seemed to start to panic again every time he was close to calming down. "Why don't you just wipe their minds and I grab him? Why all of this?! Like, I get it. I don't want them knowing there are others with powers in the city but is Roman really worth that risk?"

"I--" Logan looked away, shoulders hiked up and hunching over a bit. "I--yes. I suppose that is the easiest solution."

Patton took one look at the both of them before stepping in. "Hold on. Logan, I know you might not feel comfortable doing that. Is it okay? Are you up for it?"

"No, it's... I should do it, Virgil is right." Logan smiled a bit, though it was obviously forced. "Just a quick mind wipe, no problem. I've done that a couple times already."

Virgil watched the two of them softly talking to one another before he sighed and covered his face. He shook his head and his hands moved up to his hair, pushing back his bangs and running through them slowly. "No, that's stupid. Forget I mentioned it."

"No, Virgil really, it's okay."

"No it's not. I know how uncomfortable it makes you. I should have known better." Looking at Logan, he could see how distressed the suggestion made him. Especially after seeing his parents again so recently. Or how negatively Thomas had reacted to him trying to help. Nothing good happened when Logan did large mind wipes. Every time was a heavy burden he carried. Even that one night with Roman when he had gotten stabbed--Logan had done it more as reflex. That wasn't even really a mind wipe either, but Logan refused to talk about it or bring it up again. Virgil knew it wasn't a good idea to put his friend in a spot like that. "Your idea is safer in the long run, we'll stick with that. It was a good idea, Sherlock." Virgil let his hands fall as his bangs fell back in front of his face. "You and Watson can work together on this."

"And I can bring Two with us! As a look out to make sure nothing goes wrong!"

"Excellent idea. Are you ready, Virgil?"

"No," Virgil nervously laughed. "But I'm not gonna feel any better about all of this so let's figure out how we're going to do this and just go."

---

"Can we make a fort in the living room? That would be wonderful!"

"Sure, I'll go set it up. You stay here so I can just grab you, okay? It'll just be a few, I'm definitely washing this crud off my face before I pass out."

Prince watched his companion take a few steps back and type away on his phone, moving out of the light from the street lamp as he pinpointed their location. In a blink of an eye, he was gone, leaving Prince Charging standing in the road by himself.

He immediately stretched, yawning loudly in the middle of the street as he moved to the sidewalk. The strap of his backpack slid down a bit and Prince let it fall, catching it in his hands and almost dragging it on the ground. "Hope this doesn't take too long, I need my beauty sleep." Prince had to resist rubbing his eyes, the makeup around them would irritate him. He added it to build to the effect they blend into the boarder of the mask around his eyes. It was an idea Virgil showed him from comics. It might have been a choice based purely on style but it was one he didn't mind adding some nights. That said, he understood why Virgil was eager to go wipe it off.

He yawned again, his eyes watering as he reached into the bag for the mobile emergency phone he used. He blinked as his eyes adjusted, showing it was just past four in the morning. Roman had to be awake in three hours to get ready for work at the latest and he was barely standing anymore. All he wanted to do was wash up and snuggle in the blankets and pillows and sleep for as long as he wanted.

"Prince Charging?" Roman was so exhausted, it took a moment for the name to register to him. He shoved the phone back into the bag and stood up, looking around. The middle aged man staring at him in surprise struck the Prince as strange. "Is that really you?"

"Yeah, a rather late night patrol for me." The Prince watched the man perk up a bit, a strange sinking feeling settling in him. "Have we met before?"

"Oh!" He shuffled a bit on his feet, glancing away. "Yes, we have. I'm in that club all about you, actually."

The Prince smiled and posed, hiding how tired he felt. "Oh, of course! Now I know where I've seen you before!" The Prince watched the man closely, watching him grow more uncomfortable as the seconds passed. "No need to be nervous! I won't hurt you!" He stood up tall and puffed out his chest before quickly turning on his heel, reaching up with his hand as if to grab something. At the same time, another man had snuck up behind him and swung a wooden baseball bat toward the Prince. The hero grabbed it with his gloved hand and gripped it tight, glaring at his attacker. "Much, that is. Of course, the APC isn't the club I had hoped you were a part of."

APC. Anti-Prince Club. He knew he recognized these two buffoons.

"Why do you have to be such a pain?" the man holding the bat grunted, trying to pry it out of the hero's grasp.

"I'm the pain? You just tried smacking me with a bat! And aren't you two the ones that used a taser against me last time?" The man pushed and made another attempt at pulling the bat free. At just the right moment, the Prince let go, causing the man to stumble backward.

Looking between the two, the hero backed up, tossing his backpack to the side and out of the way. "So, Harry. Marv. Can I call you Harry and Marv? Doesn't matter, what can I do for you?"

The shorter of the two men looked confused. "What on earth are those names?"

"Um... Home Alone? Classic hijinks comedy movie? The con men? If there was a third, I could have gone for the Three Stooges." Prince smirked, keeping his eye on the bat which was his biggest threat at the moment. "I suppose this makes me Kevin."

The shorter one with the bat, the one Prince had decided was Marv, made another swing at the hero. He ducked out of the way and turned, keeping both of them in his view. 'Marv' swung again and again while 'Harry' watched. The hero knew he had to be plotting something and knew he had only a few minutes to act fast.

Harry made a few attempts to intervene, swinging his fist at the hero instead of a bat, but the Prince managed to keep his distance. He dodged, the bat grazing him slightly. The bat suddenly smacked him in the side, catching him off guard. He stumbled and turned, watching Marv approach with the bat once more.

Prince reached up, hands sparking blue with power, and Marv jumped back. The Prince grabbed the bat and pulled, wrenching it from the other's hands. He threw it to the side and marched forward, slowly stalking his opponent.

"That's not fair! You're a freak with powers!" Marv shouted out.

"And attacking an unsuspecting person with his back turned is fair? Come on." The Prince circled around Marv, keeping a close eye on him. "What have I done to you to warrant such an attack?"

"You're a menace and if no one else is going to stop you, I will."

Prince rolled his eyes and shook his head. "No, what have I done to you personally? The first time I saw you, you were attacking me with a taser."

"Yeah, and I've learned from my mistakes."

Marv smirked and the Prince heard something behind him a moment too late. He turned and saw the bat coming for him, It smashed against his cheek, causing him to spin with the hit and clutch his face in pain. That had hurt. Most hits kind of dulled with his ability but Roman was exhausted. Perhaps that was why it had hurt so badly. He heard rapid footsteps and saw Marv charging at him. The hero held a hand to his cheek while he held up the other one, a few small sparks shooting out from his palm. Marv swung his fists a few times, the hero stumbling to dodge each one, before he stepped back to catch his breath.

BAM! The bat smashed into the back of Charging's head again, causing it to throb. He fell forward onto his knees, spots dancing in his eyes as he felt as if the world was shifting. Swaying. He looked up, sparks shooting from him in defense, but not nearly as many or as menacing as he had hoped. He had exhausted himself too much, he was down, and he was alone.

Virgil is going to kill me.

The Prince closed his eyes as he heard the woosh of the wooden bat once more, then blacked out completely.

---

Virgil led Patton and Logan down the street from his portal to where he had found Roman. He stopped, letting the other two get closer to see just how bad the situation was.

Logan circled around the two men holding Prince Charging in their arms. One had the sliding side door of the van pushed open while holding his legs. The other was lifting the costumed hero by grappling around his armpits, lifting him up into the van.

It didn't seem possible they would be able to pull their roommate free without freeing all of them as well; they had too tight of a grasp on Roman. Logan looked up at them and thought about a possible memory wipe. The thought alone caused his stomach to flip and he threw that out the metaphorical window as well.

"Looks like we're just going to stick to the plan. Patton, let's move to a different street close by to walk in on. Virgil, go back to your portal where you stopped time and race forward. One of us will catch him. As long as we're quick about this, we should be successful."

"What if we're too late?" Virgil murmured to himself. Logan looked over, watching their anxious friend. Virgil had donned his mask once more but the worry was still obvious on his face.

"Well, if it comes to it, we reveal ourselves to save him and worry about what to do about it later."

Not ideal, no one really wanted to let anyone know they also had powers, but they were in this together. If it meant being able to save Roman, then it was worth the risk.

Logan and Patton walked just around the corner so they could try and stop it immediately. Virgil went back to his portal, the ripple it always left staring back at him. Glancing to the side of the road, he saw Roman's backpack still abandoned where he found it, unzipped and laying abandoned on the ground. He decided to walk up to it and zip it shut before throwing it over his shoulder. He walked away from the portal and a bit closer to Roman, not seeing any harm to starting off a little bit closer.

The silence was unnerving enough without Virgil's heart thudding loudly in his chest. He took a moment to try and gather himself, his anxiety sitting heavy on him. That bit of fear and panic started to grow and Virgil had to take a few moments to breathe. Panicking when using his powers was never helpful and it led to... bad things.

"I'll save you, Roman."

Virgil shut his eyes and focused, taking a moment to calm himself and prepare. He felt a breeze, the world shifting around him a bit, and Virgil bolted.

Hurry. Run. Faster. Faster. Run. Faster.

"Hey, what are you doing?!" Virgil heard Patton call out. "Stop!"

"PRINCEY!" Virgil almost slipped on loose asphalt as he rounded the corner, watching the two men pause with Roman half in the van, his head still being held by one of the strangers. "PRINCEY?!"

The one holding Roman's legs looked over at him and scowled, letting go of the hero and reaching for a wooden bat. "Where did you come from?"

"Me? I've been with him all night! Where the hell did you come from?!" Virgil started to advance forward, worried eyes on the unconscious prince.

"That's enough!" Logan cried out. "Let go of Prince Charging before we call the police!"

"I told you!" The man still holding Prince Charging slowly turned, facing Logan and Patton. "He's hurt! We're gonna take him to get help!"

"I'll do it!" Virgil paced forward, earning a glare from the man with the bat. "I was with him all night, I'll do it."

"How can we trust you?" The man holding the prince took a careful step toward the van, dragging the hero's legs on the ground. "You're a stranger!"

"I trust him more than you." Logan glared at them, his glare almost as intimidating without the glow. "You pulled a bat on us immediately. Tell us, how did the prince happen to fall unconscious in the first place? I doubt our city's faithful hero happened to injure himself so severely."

The man holding the bat turned and stared at Logan for a moment. He sneered and held up the bat, using it to point at the two. "You know what? I don't like you, I don't like the way you talk, and I don't like you nosing your way into our business!"

Logan threw out his arm in front of Patton. "Call the police."

As Patton pulled out his phone, the man turned toward his friend near the van. "Just toss him in, we need to go!"

"Oh no you don't!" Virgil sprinted forward and rammed into the man with the bat, catching him off guard. Virgil stumbled as the assailant barely caught himself, holding the bat with both hands and turning toward his newest target. Virgil hardly had time to shield himself with his arms as the man swung, pushing Virgil back as it stung. He cried out as the man swung again, causing Virgil to shuffle, the force of the swing causing him to fall onto his back. "Ow, son of a bitch!" He winced at the bruise he knew was forming on his forearms. He looked up and saw the man with the bat raise it above his head for a final swing, causing Virgil to shut his eyes and throw his hands over his head.

"Damnit, let go!"

Virgil opened his eyes and found Logan standing above him, grappling the bat and fighting for control over it from the attacker.

"So you can use it to attack me as well?" Logan yanked on the bat but it remained firmly in the others grasp.

"If I let go, you'll just attack me with it!"

"Falsehood!"

"What kinda smartass yells falsehood?"

"The cops are on their way!" Patton yelled, holding his phone up for the others. "Just let us go!"

The attacker turned to Patton before gritting his teeth. He looked back at Logan and shoved as hard as he could before letting go of the bat. Logan stumbled and flailed a bit to regain his balance before looking down at the bat in surprise. He glanced back at the retreating form of the aggressive attacker before dropping it. "They're trying to get away!"

"Yeah, no duh!" Virgil winced as he pushed himself off of the ground. "We can't let that happen!"

Virgil managed to get back onto his feet and made his way to the van, trailing after Logan. Virgil watched as the man who had attacked them with the bat slam the van door shut, the prince nowhere in sight.

Virgil didn't even get a chance to say anything before Logan had come to the same conclusion. The second the man turned to move to the driver's side door, Logan's eyes flashed and he fell to his knees. Taking a chance, Virgil charged forward and slid into the van, blocking the door. He was desperate to stop them from leaving.

"Oh, are you kidding me?" The man cried out as he climbed up from the ground. "Get out of my way!"

"Let him go," Virgil's voice wavered as he spoke softly. "Let him go!"

Instead of saying anything, the man threw a punch at Virgil, striking him across the cheek. Virgil stumbled from the force, reaching up and feeling the punch as it stung. Had it always hurt that badly? It seemed to genuinely be painful. Maybe it was the fact that Virgil had been awake for about twenty-four hours, but the punch left him a bit dazed with his head spinning.

The sound of a door slamming brought him out of it and Virgil looked over his shoulder, watching as the van's headlights turned on. Virgil stared in shock, not quite sure what to do. Fight? He wasn't much of a fighter and he was exhausted. What could he do? Run? No, that wouldn't help.

"Virgil? VIRGIL!" Logan tugged at his roommate's arm, watching him frozen in fear. Logan turned back to the van and saw Patton run up from the other side, standing in the middle of the road. "Patton!"

Patton threw his arms out and stood his ground. "Let him go!"

The driver threw the car in drive and the van lurched forward, ignoring the man bravely blocking their way.

Logan threw out his hand, his eyes flashing gold as Patton was suddenly pushed to the side, the vehicle missing him completely. Once he saw Patton was safe, Logan turned back toward the van, eyes shining brighter than ever before. He grit his teeth and held out his hands, balling them into fists. He started to make a pulling motion as the wheels on the van started to burn out, stuck in one spot. Logan managed to hold it still for a moment before the van shot out, speeding off down the early morning street. Logan stumbled and flailed his arms around, falling to his knees. He took a moment to catch his breath, the action exhausting him completely. He looked over at Patton once more and saw him running across the street with a worried expression.

"Pat... you... okay?" Logan wheezed, out of breath.

"I'm fine. You?"

"Just... tired."

"TWO!" Logan and Patton turned, spotting another 'Patton' running at them. "Oh my goodness, Two! When I told you to stop the van, that's not what I meant!" Patton reached out and tried pulling Two into a hug. Two smiled as he vanished in a flash of light, leaving the original Patton standing in his spot. He looked up and smiled at Logan before glancing behind his boyfriend. "Virge?"

Logan looked up and saw Virgil staring down the road, rooted to the same spot he was in after he had been punched. "Virgil, are you alright?"

"Where's Roman?"

"Um, he's still in the van." Patton spoke carefully.

"The van... that just got away."

"Yeah." Patton nodded his head with a grim expression on his face. "That van."

"So, he's gone." Virgil turned to Logan, who was still on the ground a bit dazed. "We failed. He's gone and I just. I just stood there and let it happen!"

Logan made an attempt to stand up as Patton approached their troubled roommate. "You did fine, Virgil! You're exhausted! You tried your best."

"My best wasn't good enough!" Virgil shouted. "He's gone! Roman's gone and it's all my fault!"

"Not true," Logan stood up and dusted himself off. "You got us, you saw their faces, we know who has him. There's a lot we know now that we didn't before."

"I could have stopped time again! I could have made an opening where one of us could have grabbed him! Or, I could have..." A tear ran down the mask and Virgil scrubbed at his eyes. "I could have done something... I..."

Virgil felt a hand on his shoulder and peered through his sleeve at Logan. "In your state, do you think opening a portal would have been wise?" Virgil didn't hesitate to shake his head no, eyes filled with fear as he sniffled, blinking away the tears.

"So." Virgil looked back down the street, bare of any activity from anyone so early in the morning. "We failed. Roman's gone."

---

Roman groaned, the light making the pounding headache he had even worse. Did he drink last night? He was with Virgil all night, so maybe? It hurt to think and didn't really feel like a hangover.

Blinking awake, Roman reached up to cover his eyes before he furrowed his brow in confusion. His shoulders were aching and he felt his arms underneath him. Giving them a tug, he found his wrists were bound behind his back.

Last night. Patrol. Virgil. The bat.

Roman let his head fall back onto the floor as he let out a groan. This was bad. No, this was worse than bad. Roman twisted himself around, finding his ankles had been bound as well. He looked and saw a zip tie around his ankles. He was confident he could break that no problem, but what to do first?

"What would Logan do?" He muttered quietly to himself. "Write everything he learns in a journal?" Learn by observation. "I can do that."

Squirming around, Roman managed to sit up and let out a sigh of relief at his small victory. He looked down and noticed he was still in his Prince Charging outfit. He looked up and around the empty room, spotting a more than likely locked door and a wall of glass which was rather odd. It looked more like an office meeting room than anything else... were they keeping him in an office?!

"Looks like the man of the hour has finally woken up!" Roman turned toward the doorway as a middle-aged balding man stood. He smiled and held up a mask that looked exactly like his own. He wasn't wearing his mask. "We have a few questions for you."
