One of our goals is to promote the discovery of polished works. The featured reading list: Diamonds in the Rough will be refreshed every month and will showcase 3-5 books.

The first curated list will be released January 2022.

All fiction genres are welcome as one of the featured books will be a non-speculative fiction work. Please take all of the requirements into consideration when applying!

Here is a breakdown of what books will be featured in our list monthly:

1 work by a member of our community team.
1 work by a winner of our awards.
1 non-speculative fiction work (either through application or curator's choice).
1 speculative fiction work (through curator's choice, not application).
1 speculative fiction work (either through application or recommendation).

Every book that is featured in our reading list will also receive a sticker, shout out, and an interview if the author is interested!

Requirements and Rules

1. You must be following the community account KirukkanGuild to apply (Please un-follow and re-follow the account if you are currently following)

2. Your book must have three or more chapters to be considered (not counting intros, author notes, aesthetics, etc. Prologues are counted as a chapter if they exceed 1k words). 

3. If incomplete, your book must have been updated within the past two months with intentions of completing. If your book has less than 10 parts, then it must be within the past month.

4. Your book must be in English.

5. If your book is currently added in one of our other reading lists, it is not eligible to apply. (Two of the featured books will automatically be selected from this pool.)

6. You may only submit two of your own books per quarterly (every cycle of three months). You may submit up to three books by other writers per quarterly. (For a possible total of five.)

7. Pay attention to grammar and spelling! All content submitted must adhere to Wattpad's guidelines.

8. Please be aware that we are unable to feature all submissions.
