Heather never made it to the lab. She passed by the room showcasing the Hope Diamond and she saw a figure looming over the casing after everyone else had left. Heather knew instantly what was about to happen. Her heart fell knowing she didn't have time to get Bucky. "Hey!" She shouted as she began to walk towards the room holding the precious stone. "Maybe you didn't hear, the museums closed." "Oh I heard." The familiar voice made Heather pale. Standing over the gem was none other then Tara, her nurse who took her blood tests and only friend who wasn't a super soldier. "Hello Heather O'Neal." Heather took a hesitant step back at the mention of her true name. "My name is Hazel." The former agent of HYDRA persisted and Tara laughed. "You and I both know that's not true." Tara continued speaking as she began to effortlessly disable the case containing the priceless Hope Diamond. The security must have already been disabled as well because Tara had managed to unlock the case without setting off any alarms. "Oh but you'd like it to be, wouldn't you?" Tara hissed. "You'd like to be a precious little nobody named Hazel who's biggest concern is a unique blood mutation and studying for college midterms." She seemed to have struck a nerve. Heather stared holes in to Tara's skull. "You don't know me, Heather." Tara continued. "But you knew my father, Dr. Alexi Petrov, Loyal scientist of HYDRA and creator of The Muse."
Without a single word to the other woman Heather stretched out her hand and the precious stone necklace flew into her hand. The muse had not lost her touch. And per usual, the warm sensation of trickling blood from her nose returned to her senses. With the Hope Diamond in her hand she wiped her nose with her other wrist and took off in the other direction but Tara quickly followed. She unclasped a walkie-talkie from her belt and flawlessly spoke Russian directions to her back up, alerting them the muse was on the loose with the Hope Diamond in her possession. She followed Heather all the way to the medieval history exhibit, cornering her at last like a lion cornering it's prey.
"You know," Tara began as she wrenched a near by sword from a medieval armor display, "I was kind of hoping for your cute friend to show up," she swiveled the sword in her palm, it's shined silver blade glistened in the dull light as she looked around for Heather in her hiding spot. "The Winter Soldier. Or his friend, Steve Rogers the self righteous Captain America." She stalked the room, searching for the hiding girl with her prize. "Why did you come in their place?" She added. Heather watched her from a safe place, the gem stashed in her pocket out of sight. In her hands she held two smaller and thinner swords then the one Tara held. She waited for her chance to pounce. Tara got close enough to her with out noticing her presence and Heather seized her moment. Using her powers, she threw Tara back. The brunette stumbled on her feet ultimately falling on her back and her sword clattered out of her hand. "I think you're lucky Bucky never showed up." Heather replied as she rolled the hilt of one of her swords in her hands, switching to reverse grip on the blade. "With him here you wouldn't have lasted this long." Tara hissed as she quickly scrambled to her feet, grabbing her sword in the process. "I see you have his arrogance." She replied with a grimace, gripping the sword tightly in her hand. "You'll find I have many qualities for you to dislike." Heather replied before the Two girls began a fight full of the clashing of swords.
