✃ཀ Chapter 3: 𝓓𝓪𝓻𝓴 𝓡𝓮𝓾𝓷𝓲𝓸𝓷...メ࿔

(3rd person POV)
{AZURE MENTIONED!! 💋)

The days that followed were uneasy.

Two Time barely spoke. The others noticed—of course they did—but they never pushed. Maybe they thought he just needed time to shake whatever had happened that night. Maybe they were giving him space.

But space didn't help.

The whispers hadn't stopped. The air still felt wrong, thick with something unseen. He told himself it was paranoia. That if he ignored it long enough, it would go away.

It never did.

And then, the news came.

A new killer. Reported in the outskirts of the map, each scene left in ruin, as if a wild animal had gotten to them. The walls were found streaked with a black, sticky liquid, clinging like tar. It reeked of something unnatural, something wrong, as if the very essence of darkness.

Two Time heard the rumors in passing, barely paying attention. Killers weren't anything new. The city had its fair share of horrors lurking in the dark. But something about this one set him on edge.

Something about the way people spoke about it. About him.

They called him Azure.

The name sent a chill down his spine. A coincidence. It had to be. He forced himself to believe it, even as his gut twisted in protest.

𓂋✦๋࣭ ⭑╰┈➤ That night, the air in the temple felt heavier than usual.

Two Time sat awake, staring at the flickering torches, heart thudding a little too fast. Something was coming. He could feel it in his bones.

Then he heard it.

A sharp gasp. A choked-out sound, barely audible through the stone walls.

Noob.

Two Time was on his feet before his mind fully processed it. He sprinted down the temple, breath tight in his chest. The moment he rounded the corner, he saw it.

Noob was pinned against the wall, struggling, a shadowed figure looming over him. The torchlight barely reached them, but Two Time could make out just enough—the long, jagged claws digging into Noob's shoulder, the glint of sharp teeth barely visible beneath the hood, and the writhing, inky tendrils extending from that thing's (Azure) back.

His presence was suffocating, a darkness that felt alive, pressing into the room like it was swallowing the air itself. And those eyes. Unnatural, glowing—a deep, rich violet that pulsed like embers smoldering beneath the surface. The glow wasn't soft; it was piercing, cutting through the darkness like a beacon of something ancient and wrong. They weren't just eyes. They were something else entirely—something watching, something knowing, something angry.. Unnatural, glowing, burning into his skull like twin embers.

Azure.

His breath hitched. This wasn't a dream. This wasn't a memory twisting into something it wasn't. This was real.

Noob let out a strangled sound, trying to shove Azure away, but the figure barely budged. He was toying with him.

Elliot, in a frantic attempt to help, grabbed the closest thing he could—a stack of pizzas from his packet—and started hurling them at Azure. The slices of pizzas smacked against him one by one, barely making an impact, but Elliot didn't stop. He looked at Noob with a desperate expression that practically screamed, Please eat the pizzas. Then, almost as if sending a silent prayer, he glanced upward, hopingpraying—for Chance to appeared like he always did. "Let. Him. Go!" he turned back, shouted, launching another with everything he had.

Two Time moved before thinking, hand reaching for the dagger at his side. His grip trembled—fear coiling around his chest, squeezing tight. It felt just like before. Just like the last time he'd plunged this very blade into Azure's chest, his hands shaking then just as they were now. His fingers curled around the hilt just as Azure's head tilted, slow and deliberate. (🗡)

Then Azure spoke.

"Long time no see, Two Time."

Two Time froze, his eyes widened.

Azure's voice slithered through the air like a cold mist, creeping into his ears, thick with cruel amusement. It was that voice—the one that had whispered in his mind, weaving through his thoughts, haunting his sleep like a lingering specter. It had clung to him for days. For endless weeks. Even longer. Perhaps, for years.

"Azure...Remembers me..?" (Two Time's thought.)

Azure's presence weighed upon the space around them, just like a storm on the verge of eruption, ready to consume everything in its wake. The air grew thick, suffocating, as if even breathing had become a form of torment.

Noob's ragged gasps barely cut through the pounding rush of blood in his ears. Each breath was a struggle, a desperate plea against the crushing force that surrounded them.

And then, it came again—that voice. Familiar, yet this time, dripping with a twisted pleasure. Smooth as silk, yet hiding razor-sharp edges beneath its softness.

"Did you miss me?"

Each word dripped like black honey, sweet but venomous. The deliberate cadence, the slight inflection—it was just enough to taunt, just enough to send shivers down his spine. The kind of voice that sent chills down the spine, not just from fear, but from the horrifying familiarity of it

QUESTION: Y'all think Chance will save Noob or...A new character will? 🤔
