Entrance Exam
(A/N: 83 reads? you guys shouldn't have. I saw the My Hero movie with my friend on Saturday, the movie was awesome, I couldn't stop shaking. Anyway, I hope you guys like this and hopefully this is finished today or Tuesday.)
It was a loop, a cycle for the whole month. Meet Katsuki after school, try not to scratch or moisturize my skin, faint, repeat. I couldn't concentrate in school because of Katsuki's training, I still need a good grade to get into U.A.. Every time I would fall to the ground, Katsuki would insult me, he said it's to build up my confidence again but it only broke it more. But then, when I was on the ground, Katsuki insulted me by saying I'm too weak to get back up, how I wouldn't be able to pass the entrance exam. And I did it.
I kicked him down, he fell to his knees and I was able to get back up. My breathing was heavy, almost turning into panting. I raised both my arms in the air, claiming my victory. Katsuki looked up at me. He smiled, but it wasn't like the sinister smiles he would give to you when he insulted me, it was more sincere.
"Now we're getting somewhere." He spoke.
After that, I was stronger, strong enough to even try to fight Katsuki, of course I failed because he was stronger and a boy, but I was able to work off of that. All of are training was fighting, trying to knock Katsuki down was my biggest. Even with all the training, I was able to study and work on homework for school now, I was able to get my grades back up while also concentrate on my fighting.
(One day at school)
I was sitting at a lunch table, working on homework. For some reason, people don't sit next to me, but if they do they don't pay any attention to me. Except for two girls I grew close to.
"Hey (Y/N)." Speak of the devil. The two girls walked up to me. The only people I really talk to: Hinoka and Setsuna.
Hinoka and Setsuna were the only two people that had the balls to talk to me. Hinoka had short fiery red hair while Setuna was short and a pale blue, one eye was covered by it. Both of them were spunky, chill, and calm all the time. They were popular and well-known at the school but they never got into any groups like cheer-leading or something girly like that. The reason why I became friend was because they were my tutors if I didn't understand the homework or they help me study for a test. But mostly we just talk.
"Word on the street says that you're planning on getting into U.A.," Said Hinoka. I nodded, going back to looking at my study guide, "you're training right? Who's your trainer."
"It's this old childhood friend. His name is Bakugou Katsuki." I almost regret saying that name. Hinoka's and Setsuna's eyes widened.
"The slim monster victim," Setsuna said in her lazy tone, "he's your childhood friend?"
I explained to them about my whole situation and what was going on, but when I was describing my relationship with Katsuki they took it like he was my boyfriend.
"So is he your boyfriend or something?" Setsuna asked, she lazily smiled. I went red and shook my head rapidly.
"It sounds like you have a crush on this guy, (Y/N)." Hinoka added on. I covered my face, too embarrassed to show myself to the world. Hinoka and Setsuna only laughed, obviously saying that it was a joke. I only laughed nervously.
(a few months later)
It was finally the Entrance Exam. Katsuki and I walked to U.A. at different times, I arrived later then him so I wasn't able to see who my future classmates would be. As I sat down at the presentation, I looked around the room to look for Katsuki. I found him but I also saw an old familiar face...Izuku.
Present Mic explained the practical part of the exam, how I need to get enough points by beating robots, this might be difficult. The only fighting I did in my training was with Katsuki, he's human sized so that means I'm going to have to be 10 times stronger, another problem is that I don't have a weapon except for my flash bang, but that's only for confusing or blinding people. I need to think of a game plan.
I stood at the front gate of my exam, I couldn't see Katsuki anywhere so I'm guessing he's doing his exam at a different zone. The only advise I got was to get as many points as I can, the more points I get the likely I'll be chosen to get into U.A., that's a lot of pressure.
I was in my sports bra and basketball shorts, praying that I don't use moisturizer, I was able to bring one bottle just in case. I looked around the group of people, they all looked like they've already done this before, it almost was like they had eyes on the back of there heads, I made me a little sick.
My daydreaming was cut off by a poke to your shoulder. I jumped and turned around, seeing a girl with strange hair, it looks like a rose bush. "Are you OK miss?" she spoke very modestly, almost proper, "you've been standing so still I was afraid that you would faint."
I shook my head, reassuring her. "It's OK, I'm fine. I'm just a little intimidated by all these people. They already look like Pro Heroes." I explained. The girl didn't say a word but only nodded to my words.
"I'm sorry but I can't help you, but I'll say this: "Let us then approach God's throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need."" She said. After that, she bowed and said her goodbyes, blending into the crowd.
From why she said, I'm pretty sure she said a bible verse. It doesn't bother me at all, it just means that she's trying her best to help me.
My thought was destroyed when I heard a loud buzzing, meaning the practical part of the exam has begun. I ran with the crowd, trying my best to keep up. This was it, this was hopefully my time to shine.
(2 minutes before the end of the exam)
My skin felt like scales, I was going to faint anytime soon. I overused my quirk so my body feels like the desert. I don't even know if I have enough points to even pass. My score is 35 which doesn't seem bad but hearing people call out there points made me more and more anxious.
The clock was ticking, I don't think I have enough time to get more points, I feel like I'm going to fall to the ground, and that's what happened. I fell onto my knees when time was up, and I fainted, it almost felt like I was dying. Even though my hearing was foggy, I can hear people calling for help, then small footsteps went towards me.
"This is the second time today someone almost died." The voice said, it almost sounded like an old lady. I felt lips on my head, my vision and hearing was clearing up, seeing an short old lady in front of me. "Are you able to stand miss?" The lady asked. I nodded slowly, trying to get back to my feet.
I was a bit wobbly, but I was able to stand up straight. The end of the practical was satisfying, not that I have a chance getting into U.A. but because I was so tired and I was assured a good night sleep.
(One week later)
I tapped my foot on the ground fast, as I was waiting for my acceptance letter. Bakugou was also waiting, but he was oddly calm about. Then Mitsuki came inside, holding two letters in her hand. Bakugou and I immediately grabbed them and went to our rooms.
I sat at my desk, staring at my letter, my hands and legs are shaking. With all the strength in my body, I ripped the letter and a small device turned on. A holographic screen popped up and it was...
"ALL MIGHT!" I said with joy.
"Hello young (L/N), sorry to keep you waiting. I'm here to talk about your results in the entrance exam," here we go, "the written part of the exam you did great on, your a smart kid and you know it. However, you slowly fell in practical, scoring 35 points. You may think this is a bad score, BUT YOU'RE WRONG. You were able to pass barely. Welcome (Y/N) (L/N), to your Hero Academia."
The video ended, I was in tears, I couldn't believe it, I passes. I got out of my chair to tell everyone, but when I opened the door, I ran into Katsuki. I had too much excitement, so I hugged and spun him around until he was holding me up.
"I'm guessing you passed." He asked, I nodded fast, hugging him tighter.
"Thanks to you I was able to pass. I thought I would fail because I didn't get enough points, but I was able to pass thank you so much." While I was talking fast and hugging Katsuki tighter and thighter, I saw a camera flash and looked to see Mitsuki taking pictures.
"YOU HAG! DELETE THEM NOW!" Katsuki shouted, dropping me to the ground. I look up and see him chasing his mother around, I giggled.
After Katsuki gave up chasing Mitsuki, he told me to meet in his room. It felt a little weird, you know, a virgin boy telling a virgin girl to come into their room. Seems a little suspicious, but I did it anyway.
I walked into his room and the door immediately closed. I turned around and saw Katsuki, he walked to the doorknob and locked his room with a click.
"So...is this about about are deal?" I asked. Katsuki only nodded, walking towards me, his movements stiff.
He grabbed my arms and stared at me, his red eyes staring into my soul. All of a sudden, he moved away a part of my shirt that was covering my shoulder...and started to bite it, and suck on it.
Is he...is he...IS HE GIVING ME A HICKEY!? We never dated, why is he doing this? I have so many questions, but some of those questions left me when I felt my body get into it, closing my eyes and leaning more into him.
He stopped, wiping away his saliva with the back of his hand. I was in more shook, he's acting too chill and it's scaring me. I shouted at him. "Why did you do that?"
"It's part of my favor," he said, "my favor is for you to not date anyone at U.A.."
Umm...what? He doesn't want me to date? That seemed like it came out of nowhere. I asked him why.
"It seems from when we were training, you don't take care of yourself, how you need people to help you," that's true, "if some jackass tries to ask you out, it's only because he likes you for your body and all he wants is sex from you. So I bit your neck so that guys can see that you're already taken, which your not of course. But I care about your health and safety. All I'm saying is, I'm the only one that can protect you." He finished.
I was still a bit star-struck from the neck kissing. If he's doing this to protect me, why couldn't he just say that he doesn't want me to be with some douche-bag? "Go to bed, classes start soon." Katsuki said, unlocking and opening the door for me. He's right.
I never really thought of having a relationship with someone, I feel that it would distract me from hero work. But it doesn't matter now, I go into U.A. and that's all I have to worry about now.
(A/N: this isn't the end, I'm going to stop writing in this book for now and work on Shouto one shots. I'll be doing a vote (hopefully) today about some of the reader's stuff like class and hero costume. Anyway, I hope you're enjoying this story because this chapter is the most words I ever wrote for a fanfiction.)
