Ji Yang's POV

I didn't dare to move as I felt the cold steel against my skin. All I could do was look at HaoXuan in shock.

"Come on, HaoXuan. It's me, B." The man behind laughed. "We have been friends for so many years. I won't laugh at you for falling in love, I promise. Just tell me, how it happened."

"There is nothing to say. Put it away!" HaoXuan hissed.

"You mean this?" B. shook the knife in his hands before he pressed it even harder against my neck. I had to lean back my head or else it would have cut me.

"Fuck, B!!" HaoXuan growled.

"I am afraid, I can't. You know, boss suspected you wouldn't kill this doctor like you have been told so he asked me to check on you. He said you were about to fall in love and that he couldn't let that happen. Well, something like this." I heard him sighing. "I said he was mistaken because you are one of the coldest people I knew. Not as cold as the monster, but close enough. I can't believe that boss was right. HaoXuan, how could you, a man with a heart out of ice, fall for someone? For a man, at that? You are not gay, HaoXuan. You are into boobs, my friend, into women. You forgot?"

"Put that fucking knife away, B., or else I will lose it!" HaoXuan threatened and made a step forward which resulted in B. pressing the knife even closer against my neck. I hissed when I felt a light pain. "B!!" HaoXuan yelled.

"You better take a few steps back or else I will feel threatened. And when I feel threatened this doctor here will get hurt." B. said calmly and HaoXuan glared at him for a few seconds before he stepped back. "Good. See? Wasn't that difficult, right?"

"What the fuck do you want!?" HaoXuan asked furiously.

"My job is to make sure you kill him," B. answered and HaoXuan glared at him. "But seeing your reaction I am afraid you won't do it. That is why I am here. Don't worry, I will tell the boss you were the one who killed him. That is how much of a good friend I am." I didn't see it but I could hear it in his voice that B. was smiling.

"I dare you to touch him, B. I am going to kill you!" HaoXuan said and I heard the anger in his voice.

"Damn! You changed, HaoXuan." B. said surprised. "Now I am really curious. What is so special about him? Please enlighten me, my friend."

But HaoXuan kept quiet. His attention laid on the knife on my neck and of course on me. It seemed like he was trying to find a way to get me out of this situation and that should make me happy because that would mean he must have feelings for me. But it didn't make me happy. To be honest, I didn't feel anything at that moment except fear. Fear to die and fear that these people would escape and no one would be able to stop Meng Yao from doing evil and free Xiao Zhan. I also felt guilty because even if I didn't know of HaoXuan's real identity nor his plan, it didn't change the fact that it was because of me that Xiao Zhan got kidnapped.

I heard a sigh. "You don't want to tell me, HaoXuan?" B. asked and HaoXuan gritted his teeth as he glared at the man behind me. "You want me to find out myself? You know I hate to just think of doing a man but! I hate it, even more, when I am curious about something and can't get an answer. I always have to get an answer no matter what and you know that. So if you won't tell me what's so special about this doctor I see no other way but find out myself."

"There is nothing to tell, you asshole. He is just .... him!" HaoXuan answered desperately.

It was quiet for a while before I heard a chuckle. "Say, can it be that ... maybe you didn't know you fell for him until recently?" B. asked curiously and when he saw HaoXuan looking away he laughed. "Damn... You didn't. Oh my god, your face, once you realized it must have been priceless. I wish I would have seen it. Anyway, any last words? I would like to give you two some space but.... Knowing the situation, I fear I can't. But whatever you tell him, no matter how cheesy it will be, I am not gonna laugh and I will keep it a secret, I promise. Of course, I will tease you for the next few years but that is the price you have to pay."

"You can't kill him!" HaoXuan growled. "I will take him back with us. He will live with me and will be no danger for the boss."

"Ehm... HaoXuan, it seemed that being in love has damaged your wisdom a little. Don't you get it? It's not me who wants this doctor dead, it's boss. Okay, fine! I too want him dead actually but that is not important at the moment. Boss made the decision and once he did, he will not change it. Song Ji Yang will die today and as you are clearly not able to kill him, I will do that for you. I know, losing someone you love must be... hmm... painful? Yeah, I guess it's painful, but you will get over it pretty soon. At the latest when you start to train the new girls. Let me tell you, I already got a glimpse at them and...damn! They are no joke. I know you will like them for sure."

"Fuck you, B! If I can't take Ji Yang back with me, I will not go back either. It's either us together or none of us."

'What the-?' He was crazy. I didn't want to go back with them. I didn't care that he seemed to have fallen for me. It didn't even make me happy. I just wanted to get over all of this and never see one of them again! I would probably take a while to forget this and.... and him, but it's for the best. No way would I stay with HaoXuan, no matter if we have mutual feelings for each other or not. 'He can't force me to go with him. I would rather die than keep being a chess piece in his life!'

"You are not making the rules here, HaoXuan..." B. sighed and his grip on me loosened a tiny bit. "Let's forget for a moment about the fact that boss wants to see this doctor dead, and concentrate on this beauty in my arms, okay? Did you ask him if he wants to come with us? I mean, now that he knows he was being used?"

HaoXuan looked at me for a moment and his eyes softened a little. Then he looked back at him.

"He loves me. I am sure he-"

"So it is true, huh? Love does make blind..." B. interrupted HaoXuan and shook his head before turning it to me. "As you will die anyway, I can be honest with you, right, Dr. Song?"

I didn't say nor move but my eyes fell on the clock on the wall. '20 minutes....'

"I will take that as a yes," B. said and HaoXuan growled.

"B.!!"

"What!? It's not like he didn't hear us talking the last 5 minutes. If you don't want me to slit his throat open at this very moment you shut the fuck up and let me talk, HaoXuan! Don't try me!" It was quiet for a few seconds before B. turned his attention back to me. "Just because I work for Meng Yao does not mean I lost my manners so let me introduce myself first. My name is B. and I am, together with your fake boyfriend over there, the closest aid of Meng Yao. My job is to develop drugs of any kind and I freaking love to experiment with them. I test them mostly on damaged goods, which means women who can't be sold anymore due to different reasons. Sometimes I do make experiments with animals too but as they will be used on humans it doesn't make sense to test them on animals, right? So I rarely do that."

I got goosebumps hearing him talking about his job in such a calm voice as if he wasn't talking about a crime but a baking receipt or something.

"And my friend over there is taking care of the girls. Training them so they can get sold for a high price. His special skill is to make girls, and obviously, men as well, fall for him in a short amount of time so they let themselves be trained even better. I know what I am talking about because I usually am one of those who test the end product before it will get sold within no time.

What HaoXuan loves just as much as training the girls is breaking their hearts. That was easy for him because he never had feelings for them but it seems with you it's a little different. His job was to seduce you and help the boss to get his hands on his lover. This mission is over now and you are not needed anymore. But damn... no one expected him to fall for you. The least I."

I felt even sicker now. Knowing what HaoXuan did before he met me was disgusting. To know that I slept with a person like him, that I fell for someone like HaoXuan... I felt like throwing up.

"Oh my, he paled. You okay, doc?" B. chuckled. "Now tell me, would you like to come with us and spend the rest of your life with HaoXuan? But be prepared! You would never be able to leave and you would have to share HaoXuan with lots of different women. But I heard that when you love someone you can sacrifice a few things in life. Of course, you also could start training the girls but I think HaoXuan wouldn't like that. That is the kind of man he is.

Or would you rather die here and now? You don't have to care about what my friend over there thinks. Whatever option you chose, I will make it come true. Well, I would make it true if our boss didn't want you dead which is the case so no matter what you chose, I will have to kill you anyway. But as I kind of know you a little I would say you would chose death rather than staying with HaoXuan, right? I mean, after everything he did to you and our goods... May I assume you want me to kill you? I will make it quick and painless, I promise."

I didn't say a word. Of course, I would rather die than go with them but I still wanted to live. I could feel that B. was ruthless. He told me about their identity to make me feel even worse.

"See, HaoXuan? No answer is still an answer." B. said and was about to slit my throat. He only stopped because HaoXuan screamed his name loud and desperate. "Did you... did you just scream at me? Fuck, HaoXuan! I am your friend for so many years and you dare to scream at me for a loser like him you only know for about three weeks!? Are you fucking crazy!?" Now B. was angry. Like, really angry. His hands were shaking which made the knife cut into my skin but I didn't let out a sound.

I took another glimpse at the clock. '15 minutes, Ji Yang. Stay strong....' That is what I thought but to be honest that moment I just wanted everything to be over. It didn't even matter to me if it would be Yibo barging in and saving me or B. killing me.

"Please... B. I love him. I love him!! You can't kill him, please. Yes, the two of us are friends much longer than I know him but if you are my friend you should know how serious I am right now. You know I never fell in love with anyone. I as well as everyone else thought I couldn't fall in love but Ji Yang taught me otherwise. I don't know how it happened and I don't care."

"I know you are serious, my friend, but I also know that our boss is serious. He can't have you fall in love and get soft. That would change your work ethic. You wouldn't be able to work as well as before. Fuck, you probably wouldn't even be able to work at all. But boss needs you! We need you! Do you really think you can take him with you? Boss won't allow it and the doc wouldn't want it either. Didn't you see his reaction!? He knows who you are and is disgusted by you. Even if I wouldn't kill him now, the boss would send someone else while losing his trust in me. I can't risk that."

"You don't understand, B! You said I wouldn't be able to work because I fell in love? Then what do you think will happen if you or anyone else will kill him!? You think I could continue to work!?"

"HaoXuan, you know that-"

"Shut up!!" HaoXuan screamed. "I love Ji Yang! I need him!!"

Now B. was visibly frustrated. "For what? To fuck him? If you go back to work there are a lot of girls you can fuck as much you want!! Even from behind if that is what you are into!"

"It has to be Ji Yang. He is mine, I love him. Without him-"

"Without him what?' B. hissed. "HaoXuan, when are you finally opening your eyes!! He is just a guy you fucked to get what you wanted. Now it's time to get over him and I will help you with that!" He said annoyed and pressed the knife back against my throat. I could feel how the steel cut into my skin as easy as into butter but before B. could go on, I was being pushed away.

I fell rough on the floor and when I turned around to see what happened I gaped at the picture in front of me. B. was laying on the ground holding his neck while blood flow between his finger. He looked up in shock while HaoXuan looked down on him in a scary cold expression.

"I told you I won't let you kill him. It's a pity to lose a friend but better to lose you than lose my Ji Yang. Sorry to say, B, but Ji Yang is far more important to me now than you ever were." The way he said it gave me chills. He turned to me and his eyes softened immediately.

"Ji Yang...." He called me gently before frowning after seeing me trying to put a distance between us. "You don't have to be scared of me, my love. I would never do something to hurt you. I know it must be a lot you have to progress. Believe me when I say that I am sorry for the reason I approached you but I really love you. More than anyone else."

My gaze fell on B. who was still in shock after his best friend slit his throat. I ignored HaoXuan and ran up to the guy who held a knife against my neck just seconds ago. His eyes fell on me but other than that he didn't move. I raised his hands and looked at the wound. I might only be a physiotherapist but I was still a doctor. I didn't care who my patient was because I swore an oath to help people in need no matter who they are. The wound was deep but not life-threatening as long as he didn't move much and the blood flow would be stopped. I quickly looked around and reached for the nearest piece of clothes which happened to be a shirt. I pulled B's hands away and pressed the shirt against the cut.

"Why would you help him, Ji Yang!? He almost killed you!" HaoXuan shouted out in anger. He run around and packed a few bags by throwing the clothes randomly inside. I ignored him and concentrated on my task to press the shirt harder against B's skin.

"Why...?" B. whispered but even that I ignored. I didn't want to speak to those... those heartless and cruel people. I was doubting myself because I fell for someone like HaoXuan. Yes, he hid his identity but I should have noticed something. After all, I spent a lot of time with him. Or ... was I really that easy to manipulate?

I looked up and for the third time, my gaze fell on the clock on the wall. Only 5 minutes passed since I last looked at it. They would need 10 more to arrive here. How was I supposed to buy time when HaoXuan looked like he was about to flee any moment?

Suddenly I heard a silent chuckle and I looked down at B. "Someone.... is coming.... isn't it?" His voice was silent and slow. He had difficulties to speak but I still could understand him. I wasn't trained in lying or pretending so B. must have noticed something." I saw.... you.... keep looking.... at the clock. Someone... is... coming...for sure..."

"I don't know what you mean. Stop talking or you could die." I told him but he just made a weird sound which sounded like a weak snort.

"You... can't lie..." He whispered amused. "HaoXuan... will not ...let himself get ... arrested... he will not... let himself get ... separated from you.... He... loves you ... You are... more important to ... him than I... Can't believe... he did this to me....How could he...?"

"Shut up!" I hissed and inwardly prayed Yibo would arrive soon.

"HaoXuan was... my only friend... I never thought.... he would betray me ... like this..." He said it and I knew he was in pain. Not only because of the cut on his neck but also because of HaoXuan's betrayal. But then there was a sign of a grin. Not an amused one, though. To me, it looked evil. "I... will make him... pay for this... He will wish... he would... have never betrayed me..."

"You can't do anything to him..." I answered and looked at the clock once again. This time I didn't care if it was obvious. I was found out anyway. '7 minutes.... Where, the hell, are you, Yibo!?'

"When I understood... he fell for you.... I started to hate you.... I hate you....a lot..." He glared at me but there was still this grin on his face. It was creepy. "But now... I hate him.... more than you... he will pay for it.... But .... I am going to ... help both of you." I frowned. I saw his hands moving and he took something out of his pocket. It was a little bottle as big as my little finger.

"I will help... you to arrest him... I will help him... to be with you....at least one... last ... time..." He grinned at me and raised his hand in which the bottle was in. "This is... my new toy... it's going to ... give you time ... until... someone arrives... at the same time... it will help him ... to be with you... the one he loves..."

"What-?" Before I could say something he sprayed the content of the little bottle into my face. I neither smelled nor tasted something but I had to sneeze.

"I only have ... a small sample .... with me but....your sister loved ... the actual toy a lot.... Let's see if ... HaoXuan can ... resist the .... temptation... or if he ... forgets the ... most crucial ... part ... in a ... relationship...due to his... obsession... " Then B. laughed and at the same time, HaoXuan came back.

"Get away from that bastard! Don't help him. He almost killed you, my love. He has to die! " HaoXuan said and pulled me away.

"Let go of me you asshole!" I shouted. "Don't touch me with your filthy fingers!!"

"My love, please.... I know it is too much for you now but I will explain everything to you once we are safe. I promise, no matter what you heard, you have to believe me when I say I love you. Yes, I wasn't honest when we met but that changed." He said in a desperate voice. "I love you, Ji Yang."

"You can't escape... Meng Yao's wrath..." B. laughed. "Also... the doc is ... disgusted ... by you, HaoXuan... he hates you now... there is ... no future for ... the two of you...."

HaoXuan kicked B. in his side making the latter groan in pain. "Shut the fuck up if you don't know anything, you bastard. He loves me! We love each other. Love can overcome many things!"

"Maybe.... but it can't overcome ... what a ... disgusting peace of ... shit you are..." B. answered and HaoXuan angrily kicked him once more before pulling me away from B. and out of the house.

"No! Let go!" I yelled and tried to free myself. But HaoXuan didn't let go, instead, his grip tightened around my wrist.

"I won't! I am sorry, my love. I know you are angry.... I will explain everything once we are safe but we need to leave first. I promise, that Meng Yao will never be able to find us. I promise, my love. We will be together. Just the two of us. I love you... " He pulled me towards his car and pushed me on the passenger seat before locking the door and walking around the car to get in on the driver seat.

Then he started the car and drove off.

We just drove about 5 minutes when I felt weird.

Suddenly, I wasn't scared anymore. I wasn't sad because of what I got to know today nor was I angry at HaoXuan anymore. I couldn't explain why but suddenly I felt happy. I wanted to cry and scream in frustration seconds ago but now I felt like I could throw a party or something. I felt how I started to smile. I tried to stop but the smile grew wider. And if that wasn't bad enough, I was slowly getting hot. That shouldn't be! I still was wearing only a bathrobe but instead of being chilly, it was getting warmer and warmer.

"What is this....?" I mumbled in shock which drew HaoXuan's attention to me. He saw the color of my skin slowly changing into a bright red and he frowned.

"My love...?" He called my name in surprise and stopped the car. I looked at him in shock but his sight didn't change my mood at all. It might sound weird but.... right then I was very happy to be with HaoXuan. I wanted to be with him and I wanted... I wanted HaoXuan.

Then I realized immediately that it must have something to do with that stuff B. sprayed on me earlier. I didn't know exactly what it was but whatever it was, it made me feel things totally opposite of how I actually felt.

"No... this is not true..." I said and tried to hide the condition my body was in. Yet, I couldn't. I was aroused and happy about it. I smiled and couldn't stop. I was happy but I shouldn't be!

"That was B!!" HaoXuan spat out in fury. "That bastard! What did he give you! How!? When!?" He screamed out but I only shook my head. I didn't know and I didn't care. I just wanted it to stop.

"It's okay, my love. It will soon go away. We just have to wait.... That must be some kind of drug made by him. It's going to lose its effect sooner or later. Don't worry..." HaoXuan said and reached for my hand. But this simple and light touch made it only worse. I saw his eyes looking at me the same way he did when...!

"It's okay, my love. I know you feel uncomfortable, I am sorry. But don't worry, it's going to lose its effect sooner or later. We just have to wait, my love. We just have to .... wait...."

Yibo's POV

The moment we arrived the two colleagues of mine run up to me and told me that HaoXuan ran away with Ji Yang.

"We didn't hear much what happened inside. But we saw another person who threatened Dr. Song's life. Wang HaoXuan attacked that person and slid open the stranger man's throat before pulling Dr. Song out of the house into his car. Dr. Song screamed and tried to flee but Wang HaoXuan did not let go of him. We wanted to follow them but our car is parked on the other side and it would have been too late. He drove into that direction!"

"Shit!" I cursed and yelled different orders to different people. "You will stay here and secure everything. If that other man is still alive bring him to the hospital, otherwise, send him in for an autopsy. He must be one of Meng Yao's men as well. I want to know who he is! He might be able to tell us where Meng Yao is! The others come with me! I swear if we don't arrest Wang HaoXuan today and save Song Ji Yang's life, I will make all of you lose your fucking job!"

The two colleagues who told me what happened joined me in my car and I drove ahead with several polices cars following me.

"Sir, I don't think Wang HaoXuan will kill Dr. Song. It seems he tried his best to protect him from that other man." I didn't say anything but stepped on the gas. We didn't come far when I stopped the car upon seeing another car in front of us.

"That's Wang HaoXuan's car! I can see him! Let's arrest him!" One of my colleagues cheered but I stopped him before he could get out of the vehicle. I took out my walkie-talkie and spoke into it.

"Everyone get out of your cars and surround the one in front of us without them knowing. HaoXuan is not allowed to see you. Once you are in position, tell me!" I waited two minutes before I got feedback from all of them. "Okay, now turn around and don't you dare to look to the car. You are only allowed to turn back when I say it, understood!!?" It was quiet for a moment due to the confusion of the police but soon they did what I just told them.

"Ehm... Sir...?" My collages were just as confused and I glared at them.

"Can't you see what's going on!?" I hissed and pointed to the car. "They are inside but Wang HaoXuan isn't escaping. You can see him but not Dr. Song. And why is Wang HaoXuan on the passenger seat and not the driver seat?"

"Are they-!?"

"Damn...!"

"It's either that or Dr. Song might be hurt! Now that you understand get your ass out of here and approach that car. I want you to fucking pull that bastard off him. I will take care of Dr. Song. He suffered enough already and doesn't need to be seen like this by 20 policemen! You too are not allowed to look at him. Just concentrate on arresting Wang HaoXuan!"

"Yes, Sir!" Both saluted and got out of the car. I followed them and then everything happened very quickly.

My colleagues opened the door and pulled HaoXuan off of the half-naked Ji Yang. They were indeed in the middle of intercourse but to me, it didn't look like rape because Ji Yang was not pushing that bastard away but clinging onto him. But when I saw the condition Ji Yang was in, I changed my mind. Something was not right. His whole body was red and it was burning hot. He was squirming in discomfort and mumbled something I couldn't understand. He was crying but smiling as well.

While my colleagues were trying to arrest HaoXuan, I took out my jacket and put it over Ji Yang. He opened his eyes and when he saw me he grabbed my collar. He was smiling widely which looked kind of creepy. Especially when his eyes looked like he was in a lot of pain. "It's hot! He gave me something... want him.... feel hot and happy... but I am not... help me!!"

"It's okay, Dr. Song. I've got you." With that, I pulled the doctor in my arms and carried him away. Behind me, I heard a furious Wang HaoXuan.

"Take your hands off him, you fucking bastard." He screamed at me and tried to escape my two colleagues. "Don't touch what is mine!! I dare you, you fucking asshole!! He needs me! I need him!!"

I met his furious gaze with ice-cold eyes. "Everyone, turn around and arrest him! And put his cock back into his pants before I will forget myself and cut it off!" I growled before turning around again and walking back to my car where I carefully laid the Ji Yang on the backseat.

I could still hear Wang HaoXuan cursing at me while trying to escape the police. It needed 5 men to get a hold of him. He seemed to hate it when someone else than him was touching Ji Yang and I decided I might use this fact in the future to provoke him as much as I could. But for now, I had to bring the doctor away.

"I am going to kill you, you fucking bastard! I will-" That was the last I heard from HaoXuan before I climbed into my car and drove off. I immediately dialed the number of my brother.

"Do you have Xiao Zhan!?" He asked me once he answered the call.

"No, but I arrested one of Meng Yao's men. It's the first step in finding him. But brother, I've got a problem. Ji Yang is behaving weirdly. It looks like he was drugged but I don't know what kind of drug it is. I never saw something like this."

"What is his condition?" My brother asked and I looked into the rearview mirror. I widened my eyes and looked away immediately.

"His skin is red and hot and he is aroused. He is trying to help himself but it doesn't seem to work well. He is smiling. Not just a simple smile but a big smile. It looks creepy, brother. He also said something like he is happy but he isn't but I might have misheard that part."

"Never heard of such an effect after taking a drug but we are talking about Meng Yao's drugs. Who knows what they are doing in their hideout... Bring him to me and I will make a few blood tests. I will look into his medical file as well. Until we have a result I will put him into an ice bath and hope it can cool him down a little. I will prepare everything so hurry up."

"I am on my way!" I said and cut the call. From time to time I had to check on Ji Yang but all he did was smile and touch himself. Yet his eyes were what made me see that he must be in a lot of pain. And he was crying.  

"Okay, I have enough of his blood. Now carefully put him down." My brother said and together we help Ji Yang into a tube full of ice. Ji Yang let out a small sigh but that was the only reaction.

"Do you know what this is?" I asked him and he shook his head.

"No, unfortunately not. Looks like a new drug or something. Give me time and I will check his blood. Maybe I can find something that can help"

"You want to create an antidote?"

"I might be smart but not even I can create an antidote for a new drug within a few hours. Sorry, little brother but that is just impossible. All I can do is analyze his blood and try to figure out what to use against it. Make sure he stays in the tube." He told me and turned to an older nurse behind him. "I don't know how long it will take so prepare more ice, okay?"

"Yes, doctor."

"Good. And make sure no one comes inside. I think Dr. Song went through enough of embarrassment."

"Of course, Dr. Wang." The nurse nodded seriously.

"She is the head nurse and someone we can trust. She saw a lot over the years and won't judge anyone. Give me some time, little brother." He told me and left the room.

All I could do was wait. I saw that Ji Yang stopped touching himself so that meant the ice was helping a little. But he still had that wide smile on his face and now and then he was giggling which made tears flow down his cheeks.

"I am sorry, Ji Yang," I whispered. 'When everything is over he would have to see a therapist for sure...'

 "What did you give him?" I wanted to know when he came back about an hour later.

"It's one of the strongest antidepressants we have. We gave him quite a lot so I hope it's gonna work."

"And?"

"And what?" He asked while he watched Ji Yang closely.

"Did something happen? You look at him in a kind of weird way." I said and he sighed.

"I got his medical file from the hospital he is usually going to for checkups. The official documents are saying there are no problems but the unofficial ones are problematic. All the test results of the unofficial documents.... his doctor must have seen there is something wrong. He is a doctor after all but instead of doing something he just faked the results and pretended nothing is wrong with Ji Yang."

"What exactly?" I wanted to know but my brother shook his head.

"It's confidential. Let me talk to Ji Yang first. But get prepared to take away a doctor's license." My brother said seriously before stepping closer to Ji Yang. "He is starting to freeze. It seems to work. Give him some more of the antidepressant and get him out of the tube."

Slowly Dr. Song's skin color changed to normal and that creepy grin vanished. Now he looked broken and tired. He looked up at me.

"Xiao Zhan?" He asked and I shook my head.

"We arrested that bastard but I didn't have the time to interview him yet because I had to take care of you. He isn't saying anything anyway for now. He keeps quiet no matter what my men ask him. But that will change once I start to interrogate him!"

"And the other one?" He asked me and frowned.

"There was no one. I know from my men that there was someone else who got his throat cut but we only found a lot of blood. We also found grinding marks and traces of a car but no matter how much we searched, we found nothing else."

"Is he still alive?"

"Not after seeing all the blood. It was about one and a half liter. No one can survive that. I guess that someone took the corpse so we won't find out who that person was. That means that whoever he was, he might have been someone easy to identify. But enough of that. How are you feeling?" I asked him.

"I don't know..." He mumbled before looking up at me. "When you interrogate HaoXuan, I want to be there too."

I shook my head. "Sorry, but that is not possible. You are not feeling well. Moreover,  when he sees you-"

"He doesn't have to see me! I don't even want him to see me. I just want to know what kind of man he is. I mean... I already heard a bit but I want to know everything. Please, Yibo. I have to hear all of it myself." I was quiet for a moment and thought about it. "Please, we have to find Xiao Zhan. In case HaoXuan won't talk... he might talk to me."

I gritted my teeth because now I had no other option than to agree. Finding Xiao Zhan was my priority. I already managed to concentrate and suppress my worry and anger since the moment I found out about his kidnapping but if I don't get to know where he is pretty soon, I might go crazy. Who knew what I would do. "Fine. But first, you will tell me what happened in that house after my call. Tell me everything. Don't let anything out. After that, I will go and see that bastard."

At least HaoXuan was finally arrested! The big integration will happen in the next chapter and I fear Ji Yang is in for a few more shocks. 

I will try to finish Ji Yang's POV (Ji Yang's and HaoXuan's story in general) in the next chapter but we definitely will hear about him again in the epilogue. He went through so much... I want him to be happy...

I am not sure if the next chapter will include part of Xiao Zhan and Meng Yao too but if not then their part will definitely start in the chapter after the next.
