How is everyone doing this evening?  I hope everyone has had a productive week, filled with many happy returns.  We are so happy to have you all here.

Poem-A-Day Challenge:

I am very happy to say we have two new participants to our Poem-A-Day challenge!

They have both taken on the challenge of writing a poem every day this year.  I would encourage all of you to stop by their profiles and give them some Poets Pub love! 

As always, all members are welcome to join in on this challenge, just add the hashtag #PPpoem-a-day to the book you are using for the challenge, send us a PM to let us know that you have joined in as well as a poem to add to the Pub's collection.  We do have a participation sticker for anyone who wants it.

We are still looking for more poems for the Poem-A-Day collection.  Everyone is invited to submit poems, even if you are not participating in the challenge, so if you have any you want to share please don't hesitate on sending them in.

March Contest:

You only have a week left to get your submissions in for this month's contest.  The winner will have this month's contest book dedicated to them, be interviewed for the Pub's Interview collection as well as being eligible for competing in the Pubber of the Year contest.

PERSONAL ANNOUNCEMENTS:

I am thrilled to announce that two of our Pub members have won first and third place in WP_Poetry's March 2017 Contest.

WP_Poetry is Wattpad's official poetry community and they have recently been revamped and revived.  I think it is a great testament of the talent that we have here at the Pub for two of our members to receive such recognition in WP_Poetry's first contest.

OLD BUSINESS:

We don't really have any old business this week so we will move on.

NEW BUSINESS:

Everyone should be on the lookout for April's contest.  It will be posted on April first, (no foolin').  We have come up with a really great idea for you all and I hope you will have some great fun with this contest.

MYNA'S MUSINGS:

As I mentioned earlier we have quite a few new members and we would love to get to know you better.  We are a family and we want to share our love for poetry with each other.  So this week I have two prompts for you, well they are more like challenges:

Prompt #1 – I would like to challenge ALL MEMBERS who have not done our 10 THINGS ABOUT YOU CHALLENGE, I want you to jump right in and do it!! All you have to do is tell us 10 things about you, it can be anything.  It doesn't have to be intimately personal information, just fun things you want to share with us to help us get to know you better.

Prompt #2 – I would like anyone who has not sent in a submission for poeTRY, to do so.  This collection is one of the best ways to introduce yourself and your poetry to the Pub family.  We have 5600+ members so we should have multiple volumes of poeTRY !

Also a quick note about the poetry prompts, I have updated the Pub Chatter Poetry Prompt Collection so it now has the full list of prompts from all of the weekly Chatter's. So if you are having trouble with a lack of inspiration head over there and check out all of the different prompts.

DOWN AT THE SALOON:

If you haven't stopped by the Gulch lately well then you are missing out!!  The town of Busted Gulch is all in a tither because of the muffin fight that took place in the saloon, the air was filled with muffins and fists.  The only way you can find all the details is to head over the storytellers-saloon and check out:
