On September 1, I will be checking the comments to find last minute points for Achievement #17, the riddle poem, you will get extra points for each wrong answer. So, if you can make sure our Pubbers can get extra points by leaving a comment on their Achievement #17 poem.
On September 1, I will be going through all of the books that have been submitted for the 100-poem challenge to count the poems and make sure that they are all at least 8 LINES LONG.
Remember that the poems you submitted for the Achievement Hunter can count for the 100-poem challenge ONLY if they are at least 8 LINES LONG.

Wind On The Hill
By A. A. Milne
No one can tell me,
Nobody knows,
Where the wind comes from,
Where the wind goes.
It's flying from somewhere
As fast as it can,
I couldn't keep up with it,
Not if I ran.
But if I stopped holding
The string of my kite,
It would blow with the wind
For a day and a night.
And then when I found it,
Wherever it blew,
I should know that the wind
Had been going there too.
So then I could tell them
Where the wind goes...
But where the wind comes from
Nobody knows.

September Contest 2021:
I wasn't going to do a September contest but sitting here writing the Chatter I had an idea that would be simple, and I think it will be easy and fun. For our September contest you are going to be challenged to write silly, fun, nonsensical poems. The past year and a half has been so overwhelming for so many of us I think we need to send some cheer and joy out in this world. So, be looking for our September contest book to be open for submissions on September 1st.
Biggest Competition Ever:
We normally start our Annual Biggest Competition Ever in September, but with the Achievement Hunter challenge, I have not had time to get it set up yet. Stay tuned for more information about this after we get the Achievement Hunter finished.

We only have a little over a week left in our Achievement Hunter and 100-Poem Summer Challenges. Both of these challenges will be ending on August 31st at midnight, MST.

A Wonderful Bird Is The Pelican
By Dixon Lanier Merritt
A wonderful bird is the pelican,
His bill will hold more than his belican,
He can take in his beak
Enough food for a week
But I'm damned if I see how the helican!

The Moon
By Robert Louis Stevenson
The moon has a face like the clock in the hall;
She shines on thieves on the garden wall,
On streets and fields and harbour quays,
And birdies asleep in the forks of the trees.
The squalling cat and the squeaking mouse,
The howling dog by the door of the house,
The bat that lies in bed at noon,
All love to be out by the light of the moon.
But all of the things that belong to the day
Cuddle to sleep to be out of her way;
And flowers and children close their eyes
Till up in the morning the sun shall arise.

The Rainbow
By Christina Rossetti
Boats sail on the rivers,
And ships sail on the seas;
But clouds that sail across the sky
Are prettier far than these.
There are bridges on the rivers,
As pretty as you please;
But the bow that bridges heaven,
And overtops the trees,
And builds a road from earth to sky,
Is prettier far than these.
I apologize for the Chatters being so late the last few weeks, it takes me quite a bit of time to get all of the Achievement Hunter stuff arranged and ready to publish. Hopefully I will be able to get them out earlier after all of this is done. Anyway thanks for hanging out with us for a bit here at the Pub and I hope your week is spectacular!!
Remember to... keep those pens and keyboards flying!!
Cheers from you Mystres of Chatter
