I want to be

I want to be an emotion

so intense

that hugs every curve

of your heart and mind

I want to be tiredness

that burns your muscles

brings bouts of tire sickness

along with a satisfaction

of having done the work

for the day

I want not to be your yesterdays

that gives you melancholy

but a future

you wait with a child's faith

I want to be your present

which you feel

as an emotion

as tiredness

and as a reality,

so that

I remain not a figment

Of your imagination.
